Hi! God bless you! I let my battery like 2h to charge and nothing... Then i saw your video and... in 2 minutes I reviewed the first green led. It's charging now, hopefully normally. In the morning I hope to have it charged and ready to work. Thank you very much!

Another way if you have time...leave it plugged in for 24 hours. Then disconnect from the power supply & quickly reestablish power a few times. This worked for me.

I tried the method in this video three times. The first two times I learned it in another video and it didn't work, but I only connected the contacts quickly. This video told me to leave it for ten seconds, so I tried that. No luck. My battery has only been used a handful of times, but was put away for a year and a half. Now I am going to try your method. Fingers crossed!

@@nethisanthosh Unfortunately, no, it didn't. The battery is still dead. I want to sell my AD600Pro, which is why I pulled it out of storage. I hate to have to buy a battery to do that.

    Hi Scott.
So I used your way of resetting the godox batteries, the first time mine became unresponsive, over a year ago, and it worked. This time however I went too plug them in to test and low and behold they were dead lol. So I tried the reset course of action and it did not work this time. So I saw another video where the guy used a car battery charger to give them life, I tried and it did not work. Using my voltage meters I saw that when I used the car battery charger my voltage went from 8.02V up to 14....volts. but no power meter readings on the Godox charger lights were still red. So as a last resort I left the batteries plugged into outlet and risked the chance of blowing batteries up or shocking myself, I went ahead and did your reset option with a set of steel tweezers while they were plugged into outlet and Bing bang boom I got a solid green light on the wall charger of godox, and about 1min later the green lights started to shuffle thier way along the way they are supposed to when charging. I didn't get a shock or blow batteries up lol. Looks like they are charging along nicely. Thank you for the advice and I hope that my experience in the way I did mine will help ppl out.

So what do you mean you plugged into an outlet?
Does that mean you just attached a positive and a negative wire and just tapped the positive and negative on the battery?
      Please explain if possible

Nice job on the clear and concise info. Curious if this proved to be an effective long term fix? And battery issues afterwards like poor battery life even after full charge?

My battery has only 1 hole. I am bummed. I was praying I wouldn’t have to replace it and your solution would work. Anyone else have a battery like mine? There was a small white cap, I removed it but there was no hole, only a rounded pin.

Thank you for this - I did the connection with the paperclip, and have put it back together, and connected to the charger - I haven't seen any indication yet of whether it's charging or not, its only been connected to the charger about 2 minutes - Please can you tell us how long you have to wait before you see an indication that the battery is charging???

Great advise. Mine is not dead but it stopped charging fully, one bar doesn’t want to charge no matter how long I leave it on charge. What could be an issue?

so is this a "long term" fix?..or do you have to keep doing this to the "bad battery"..How is the battery long term?..is it working regularly and charging correctly now?..after this "reset and jumpstart"..thank you

Adorama has the following notice on their product page, so the solution is to remember to keep it charged. 😅
      “PLEASE NOTE
The Lithium Battery Pack must be charged every 3 months. Cells may fail to recharge properly without care.”
