Old Fashioned One Egg Cake Recipe

Here is my recipe for Old Fashioned One Egg Cake, my grandma taught me this recipe and I have enjoyed making it for many years.
Recipe-
One Egg Cake
Preheat oven to 350 F.
4 Tablespoons softened butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Mix according to instructions in video- bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and baked through.

Looking forward to giving this a try - I've never heard of it - but, I wonder if my grandmother made it at some point. I bet it would be wonderful with some fresh fruit - like strawberries or blackberries and cream. I'm imagining it will be wonderful with tea or coffee as an afternoon treat.
