For me Buffy the vampire slayer is peak 90s fashion so I’d love a “Styling outfits from Buffy” video since I don’t see too many people on youtube talk about Buffy 💕
That brown sweater is what was called a “poor boy” sweater. They’ve been around since the ‘70s. You really do have a great haul! That polka dot dress is gorgeous on you.
LOVE the low/mid rise jeans on you! Love that you and Carrie are both coming around to mid rise jeans at the same time lol! Recently I've discovered that mid rise are actually so much more comfortable to sit in and are actually more flattering on my specific body type.
Ok wow I love how you're letting yourself go for slightly more edgy/boyish additions to your wardrobe while still staying true to your style and what feels comfortable as far as textiles and fit. Everything looks so natural on you even though there's such a broad spectrum of themes here! I'd love to see you play a bit more with combining what I think could describe your different style descriptors, something along the lines of edgy, delicate, and playful or spunky.
Alexa, the low-rise jeans looks PERFECT! I'm a low-rise girl all the way and today's low-rise are not as super low and revealing as they were in the past. I find them way more comfortable and flattering than high-rise. Good for you for trying this.
oh my god, you look actually so elegant in that low back top with that skirt! 😍😍 also! you are really inspiring me to just ignore “outdated” and pick some of those really distinctive pieces that I wasn’t confident enough for at the time and just wear them. the concept of “I like it and it’s my style because I wear it” has been blowing my mind and opening so many doors 🤯
That backless black tee is perfect! I love how you have such a great eye for slightly elevated basics.. would love to see a video on accents that elevate closet staples. Like even the black boatneck tank top your wear is gorgeous!
As someone who was in jr high and high school during the 90s...10 Things I Hate about You the movie is pretty accurate...Julia Stiles style was basically Delias as a person 🤣🤣🤣
i think this is one of your best hauls everything looks really good on you! especially the polka dot dress, brown sweater, and fringe jacket 🤌 i also can't wait for autumn it's basically fall in my brain already i just want to be able to wear my leather jacket without sweating lol
Thrifting for fall?! Yesss! My favorite time of year! 😍🍁🖤 Edit: I commented too soon because omg the amount of 90s fashion you thrifted! I am amazed and inspired! That Jean button up is truly chef’s kiss!
I love how cohesive this haul was. Felt very your style and not related to trends. I know you've said you've been struggling to feel inspired by your closet/style to get dressed (I have been too lately) and I feel like this haul is a great example of understanding what you like and sticking to it.
What’s wild is I saw a similar one of Etsy and ended up passing and regretting (it sold that day), then two days later found that one!! 🙌🏻 the one I actually got was a better style for me anyway woo
So many amazing fines, here!! Another awesome video. The fringe jacket and Mary Jane's sound especially cool. I see sound because I can't see them. I'm totally blind. Still a fashion though. Lol and Thrifting is so great. I haven't tried Thrifting online yet because sometimes relying on written descriptions on websites can be tricky as far as getting an overall idea of what some thing looks like so I will often send links to family or friends to get a better idea of what things actually look like. I am voice texting this comment and dictation messed it up a little bit but hopefully you get the idea of what I'm trying to say here. Love your channel.
Omg! A few months ago I thrifted that same brand & style 90s black skirt in more of a paisley pattern, and it's been my summer evening uniform. Your videos got me back into thrifting and are a big style influence for me, so I love this
I absolutely love your bangs soo much! And I love fall, any seasons expect summer (because I really like layering😔😔) anyways, keep up the good work, seeing the title and who posted it made me squeal in joy💞
I love that brown sweater, and I would never have thought to pick it up! It looks great on you. Also, seeing you in that dark floral skirt (the one you weren't sure about) gives me Phoebe from Friends vibe. And that white dress is gorgeous.
Really enjoyed your video and the styles you found. I have noticed (and hope it isn't something you take offence to) but I love how your style is maturing and you are becoming more selective about your outfits. You have such a great style taste and your fall choices are so lovely! Please do more videos on these pieces this fall and how you really style and wear them for your every day wear and not just for a haul. Thank you for sharing your video today! 😊
I gave my mother a bag kislux on the festival day. She liked it very much. It is easy to carry and not easily scratched. My mother often carries it when she goes out on rainy days. But it still looks new. I will consider buying another one next time I have the chance.
Absolutely loved everything in this video! :) love the soft goth, emo style especially bc I find it sooo difficult in the summertime! Also love your main outfit and the hairstyle, it suits you sooooo much :)))
Very jealous of some of these pieces - simply gorgeous!! The 90s fashion whimsigoth angle is so good on you, and one of my personal favs! THE PATTERNED CARDI IS AWESOME!! It's crochet! I just started crocheting in March and I'm working on my own version hehe. It's called a granny square cardigan! Those colors are wow
I have that exact same denim purse that I bought from Walmart many years ago - I dug it out of my closet at the beggining of summer and have been loving ever since! 😊
I just sold that exact same Briggs skirt! I rewound that part like 3 times lol. I was so obsessed with it but the one I had wasn’t my size. Such a good find!
These were such good finds! Your style has been giving me Buffy the vampire slayer vibes lately (which btw would be such a cute costume). Excited to see more fall outfits!
This was a fantastic haul! Everything fit you so well and really looked great on you, the 90's cuts of skirts and dresses suit you. FYI, the Worthington sweater is an older JC Penney brand, I'm not sure if they still use it, it was always well made from good fabrics. The Liz Sport is a division of Liz Claiborne. In the 80's/90's everyone had at least 1 piece of Liz's clothing, some girlies had an entire closet full. Here's a bit of info on your crocheted patchwork sweater and those like them that Id like everyone to keep in mind. There are plenty of hand made knits but most knits are made on machines. There are no machines that can crochet. There is something called machine crochet lace but it's not really not crochet, it's lace. That means someone is hand crocheting every one of those squares, then they get stitched together and bands with buttonholes are crocheted to the fronts/neck along with lower edging/cuffs. Sadly, women are usually the ones making these for very little money and it takes a toll on hands/wrists. Crochet is simple to learn, buy yarn at a thrift store and practice. Then make your own sweaters, afghans, pillows, scrunchies, mittens, gloves, socks, etc. So, remember, all crochet is done by hand so embrace it, care for it, appreciate the talent. Makes it more precious to me.
Such a great haul! The camis are gorgeous! Can't wait to see you style the black cami with black denim and your docs. So giddy for your fall outfits. ⛺🍁🍂🎃
Omg I got a Briggs black and purple skirt secondhand back when I worked at Clothes Mentor and holy crap it’s sooo similar to the one you thrifted and I ADORE IT! It has the little buttons too (slightly different pattern but otherwise identical) I feel so cool knowing we have almost the same skirt haha
One of your all-time greatest thrift hauls to date 🎉 Every piece was so, SO good but if I had to pick a favorite…. I just can’t. They are all that good 😅 Thank you for sharing Alexa! I always look forward to and enjoy your work! Side-note: I am honestly LOVING your hair right now!!! 😻
Does anyone else get a little serotonin boost from the intro? 😂😍
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yes! Haha I love the intro
Yes. And I must “boop” every time.
For me Buffy the vampire slayer is peak 90s fashion so I’d love a “Styling outfits from Buffy” video since I don’t see too many people on youtube talk about Buffy 💕
Would also love a video based around 90s shows like sabrina, buffy and fresh prince!
Yesss, Buffy is my ultimate autumnal outfit inspiration! Would love a video on it!

That brown sweater is what was called a “poor boy” sweater. They’ve been around since the ‘70s. You really do have a great haul! That polka dot dress is gorgeous on you.
I was going to say the same. I had one in the 60’s in high school!

Love seeing your style evolve in the last year. Your hair look especially healthy and pretty ! such a good look on you ! Love from France
I have been thrifting for Fall ever since July.
That backless shirt looks divine on you. As Class of 95, I can tell you that these purchases beautifully capture 90s style. ❤
As a fellow c/o 95er, I absolutely agree!
YOUR HAIR 😍😍😍😍
Perfect timing while I sit and do my makeup ❤
You should do a 90s style glamour shoot with the fringe jacket. All my older/cooler cousins had them done and those photos are still so good.
I'm cackling because I know sooooooo many girlies from my generation that had Glamour Shots as their senior picture
All these clothing items r 20/10 on you😮congrats🎉

Transitional to fall is my favorite fashion season! Great looks
