Thank you Karen. I was unsure how to finish the binding on my hexagon table topper. So I opened your account and to my amaze your instructions are so amazing and self-explanatory and easy to follow. The finish was so helpful when you used a 2 1/4" scrap to determine how much to cut off and it worked perfectly. I'm trying the washable glue. I enjoyed listening to you. I agree no music!!!
Just discovered your channel while searching "hexagon binding"....you're a delight to watch, and I love the way you explain everything in detail. Thank you for the tips I needed to complete my projects. I prepare my projects to be able to hand sew the back while watching TV. Love love love your batiks!! I've subscribed and watch more.
Thank you for your kind words! I hope to get back to making more tutorials- seems “life” has thrown a few curve balls - but I will have more to offer soon so thank you again for subscribing!
I'm going to try this after watching your video BUT I'm going to stitch binding onto top first as I prefer to do stitch in the front ditch with invisible thread on top & matching bobbin thread on bottom....I do also already fold that top binding to the back & use Elmers glue to iron down w/ a dry iron...I generally do all this on the serger w/ fusible thread in the upper looper BUT afraid to try that this time w/ my 120 degree corners on the table topper😬
