Your techniques and demonstrations are amazing. Thank you so much for sharing. A watermelon table topper is on my bucket list and I already have the fabric.
I love watermelons and plan to be a “copy cat” and make mine like yours. How do you sew the seams on the hexagon? Seam’s toward hexagon or away? Thank you so much for the easy tutorial.
What width did you cut the green strip and what width is the white trim strip? love your tutorial and looking forward to putting one together!! Thank you!!
Well, I made that a long time ago but I think the white is cut 1 1/4" (finishes at 3/4") and the green is cut 3 1/2". The pattern is great because you can cut whatever size borders you want. You can find the pattern on our website here: loriscountrycottage.com/products/simple-seasonal-table-runner?_pos=10&_sid=24aeb7d7a&_ss=r
I love the way you cut the octagon. I have been putting this off because I done like to have to cut out a pattern. I can now do this! Thank you.
You are so welcome!
I love this tutorial. Very easy to do. No need for a ruler. I love it!
Glad you liked it!
