Speedsensor can be removed by modifying software on ECU and get digigal speed signal by ABS . Tested on a6 c6@ 2.7tt 6hp19 gearbox.

2.7t 01E speed sensor is simple reed switch if İ am not mistaken. One turn of wheel makes 8 pulses.
