Great video Kevin!!! I definitely learned something about that step up converter, great information! Hoping you make that 2K subscriber goal because Trailnewbie (Greg) is going to look awesome as Rhino Offroad!!! 😂
For almost 2k subscribers the quality of your videos are great, great camera, great mic quality, if I knew you didn’t have 1k I’d assume you’d have like 500k, stay consistent and you’ll definitely be up there sooner or later.
Need a step up converter 😮 wow super thorough video. Awesome 🎉 So do you hook up the step up converter directory to the battery as shown in the video with the Jeep not running when camping? I usually plug into my 12v in my truck and it does a terrible job at recharging.
Yes I do! I have the connection fused, and switchable with a relay so I'll run it for about an hour after shutting down at camp without issue. I mainly use it while I'm driving, as even with the fridge running I can charge the battery up in 3 hours
@@RhinoOffroad that’s exactly what I want is the battery to actually charge while I’m driving from spot one to spot two. So there is a way to plug it in inside the cab using the converter ? Lmk how you do it while driving
First of great video . I will tell in my jeep i ran 8 guage wire with a 50 amp breaker to the rear with an anderson plug at the end . Originally was just using it for my air compressor.but now i connect a best tech 300 watt pure sine inverter and get 268 watts to charge bluetti ac 180 . Change charge rate in bluetti app to silent mode charge 0 to 100 percent in 5 hrs
@bogdanlibotean awesome videos man, I can't believe you don't have a lot more subscribers for the quality of your videos, you're gonna pop off here soon man and skyrocket
Let’s get Rhino Offroad to 2K subs! If I lose the bet and have to dress up as Kevin for Halloween, I’ll post to IG for all to see. 👊🏼👏🏻 Great video Kevin!
@gobihappy_jku Great video! Thanks for the information. We need some solar panels. We have the goal zero but have been researching the Bluetti. I like that they are expandable
I like the 12 volts to 24 weeks idea. I’ll have to try that.

Also it could just be recorded off a newer iPhone but it’s still great
Hey Zana, I really appreciate the comments and support!
Rad man, thanks! I never really looked into those step up converters, but I have one in my Amazon list now 😅
Let me know how it works for you!

The converter heats up when in use, so I'd keep it and the fuse under the hood. I have the switch on my apillar
@@RhinoOffroad so how do you tie it into the cab to be able to charge from the inside? Ran the wires through the firewall?

@sparkylu124 good video dude
@Andrewr05i
I've been looking for a solar panel for my battery box, this would be awesome to win!
👍😅😅
Cool Video! Great content--the video was well done. The panel looks really cool and different from a lot of the foldable options. @lukehallowell
Good info. Thanks! @christianoffrd
Good stuff, thanks for the research, now I don’t have to do it. @hilandxplorer
