I am truly impressed that not only do you work , have time for the builds , but also video explaining the build and basically give classes. You are the man.👍
Hey Dan. I'm still watching your videos. Man I wish I was your age again and had your energy. I can only work for about 3 hours and my knees and back tell me to shut it down. Thanks for sharing.👍👍
I enjoy watching your. You're a real car guy working with what you have just like us. No fancy garage with million dollars worth of tools. Just a guy with a dream. Keep up the good work man.
Great video, she is going back together very well. You aren't wasting time working on it and it will be a great car to cruise around in. Keep sharing your updates, please. We love watching you get it back on the road.

Dunno if anyone cares but if you guys are stoned like me atm then you can stream all the latest movies on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my brother during the lockdown :)
You are moving along!! 👍 Those two curved triangle shaped peices. Go in the engine bay between the radiator core support and frame. Just above the two new bolts you installed in the frame for the lower control arm. They had some small weather striping attached to them as well.

gold louvers on the fenders should have a matching gold grill, but hey, sometimes you got to run with what you got, funds can be a limiting factor as well you know
Coming together nicely, you might want to checkout those saddles you put in for the engine to mount on. They look like they are a bit high and that might cause a problem with the transmission when you go to stab the engine and transmission in the car. Are you going to cut off those braces that come off the frame that were for the original engine and transmission? Good luck on the rest of the build, look forward to seeing it run..
I just followed the instuctions while installing so hopefully everything fits. If everything clears I'll probably just leave the original mounts. Thanks for watching man!
It looks like your missing the fresh air vent tubes that go from the firewall to the headlights, thier's a front and back for each side, the one i think has a "T" off if which goes to the blower motor, they also hold your headlights in aswell

Hey. I'm only 3 minutes into this video. Granted, I'm no mechanic. No negative comments from me. Ok. 1) motor mounts, how do you know where to place them? Yes, I probly missed what you said about it. 2) the '57 Chevy heater fresh air intakes are NOT located in the same spot as the '55 & '56 Chev. The '57 Chev air intakes are directly over the headlights. No, I don't remember just how they did it or what they used, but flexible hose of some type. Sorry I cannot offer any more help. Now, I'll get back to your video. Great job! Oh, I guess you won't be using an original 283 engine. Kind of why the different motor mounts. ( engine mounts). I'm 62 yo, and having trouble mentally.. So please bear with me.... Yes, the center of the grill bar gets a plastic type Chevy Crest/ Chevy bow- tie insert. They ALWAYS broke. The grill itself would be silver in color, unless the car was a Bel/Air. The Bel/Air recieved the gold anodized grill. If I remember correctly, the Bel/Air bumper Dagmars got the rubber bullets as yours has. The Bel/Air ALWAYS had the fanciest trim appointments. Oh, Dagmars are the pair of round bumper protrusions on 1950's cars. Buicks had them, Caddy's........ Yeah, look at a lot of stock pictures of your car to figure out where all the pieces go is the best way to see what goes where. You'll get it done, you're a smart guy!!! Best of luck bringing back a classic piece of automotive history!!!!
@@DDSpeedShop yes, you can say I've been obsessed with them since my first ride in a '55 Chevy Sport Coupe back in 1959. I was 3 y.o. LOVE the '55 Chev. Built MANY models of the tri- fives as a kid. You get to build the real deal!!! Be- safe, keep up the great work!!!!
Oh, the '57 Chevy also had as an option, under dash tissue dispenser, vacuum powered ashtray, auto headlight dimmer, windshield washers, traffic light finder although that's not the correct term for it.
