Great video, I've had my 30h for a year now and love it. I just ordered some upgraded spool bearings for it hoping to get a little more distance casting.
I’ve been using the sl-x50shg for a while now and it’s casting performance isn’t bad! It’s drag on the other hand is dismal! It’s literally half the pressure stated! On an empty spool it’s close but no where near it when full! It’s still more than adequate for 15-20kg lines chasing jewfish,kingfish,Spanish mackerel and smaller tuna the rocks! And my favourite reel by far on my custom 10’ snyderglass fsu5120 or seeker jigging rod! If you ever come to Australia I’d suggest filling the spool all the way! And learn to cast with it! Otherwise that’s about 30 seconds worth! If that! Often a lure gets eaten on the drop just after a long cast and no line capacity to make it easy to cast is just messing with my ocd! I can’t stand empty reel’s!
Very nice reel indeed, ... I have a few Daiwa reels myself but lately, .. I've been collecting vintage & unused Abu reels, ... Cast like a dream..!

Great video. I am looking for the old bg 30h but they are discontinued and are hard to get hold of. Will this reel be great for shore conger?
