    Love my 2017 Alltrack S. It has all the features I need, none that I don’t want (no sunroof for me).
    With a IE stage 1 91 octane tune and a home built sub installation it is a wonderful daily driver.

      @@_MrLee lol. tons. I no longer have it. it was a very fun car to drive, but they can have issues. water pump/ thermostat, heater core, hvac control valve, bad injectors. all in 1 year. I got it with 84,000 miles for a decent deal, then put thousands more into it. traded it for a 2021 toyota tacoma. I didnt hate the care. I am pretty sure the previous owner drove the hell out of it and didnt keep up with maintenance.

    My 2017 SEL Alltrack has the ESR button. You push it once and it turns it off entirely. To get into the ESC Sport you have to press and hold it from active and it’ll switch. Doesn’t have the launch mode but it will after I smack a tune onto it for the Engine and DSG. Had it a month and I’m in love with it, from a dealer with 103k miles. Coming from a stock 03 Passat Wagon GLS with 230k miles. I’ve been looking into all kinds of stuff to do with mine. Mainly the DAB Auto Haldex V control and then it’ll be off to a tune shop, maybe a clear wrap to protect the paint and some tinting, and a lower stance. Also, a proper oil pan and skid plate that are metal. Glad to see others who are stoked about these, at first I thought I was gonna have a limited community to be part of. I will be tuned in from here on out.

    Currently in the process of buying a 2019 Alltrack S 6MT. Avoiding the potential roof leaks with the S trim and saving a bit of money. Definitely considered the DSG to jive better with increased power, but I probably won't go past Stage 1 for the time being so I'd prefer the more engaged driving. I am very likely to reach out to you when it comes time to get it tuned.
    I'd really like to know what your plans are for the Alltrack since you havent posted anything about recently. Are you going to upgrade the turbo and maybe add some more bolt ons? I think the extent of my build won't go much beyond what you've done so far.
    Cheers.

    • @stratifiedauto
      @stratifiedauto  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We tuned the stock setup and added some much needed handling upgrades. We are already in the process of taking it further after tuning quite a few is20, is38 and bigger turbo versions of the car. So absolutely there is more coming but nothing wrong to stop the missing where you feel comfortable.
      When you want to discuss your plans and mod path please don’t hesitate to reach out.

    What is causing the misfire on the spark plugs? Is it just the wear on the ground strap Causing the gap to get bigger or is it something else?

    • @stratifiedauto
      @stratifiedauto  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes generally ground strap erosion and stretching is what opens up the gap. The electrode wears as well over time.

      I’m pretty sure the Golf hatch has a shorter wheel base of 2620mm compared to the Golf Alltrack’s 2630mm. This is direct comparison for the 2016 Australian model Golf r hatch vs Golf Alltrack. It is negligible but it is there
