  • The first step in modifying your TSI Alltrack Golf for more power is tuning. Tuning tuning tuning. Nothing else gets you the same performance, drive ability, and safety.
    Here we take our development Alltrack, test stock power levels and then tune it on pump gas and ethanol blends. We show you dyno data, acceleration data and driving footage.

    RS3 Strutmounts fit on Alltracks, paired with bilstein b4s its a great improvement in handling without sacrificing clearance or a lot of money.

    Gotta love that extra spool Ethanol gives you.

    The "snowguard" is a air flow modifier that distributes air evenly over the filter. If you remove it then you get a dirt patch a single point of the air filter.

      It didn’t seem to have any effect on performance in any case. Thanks for the insight.

    What do you do with the tested fuel when you are done with it?

    Nice bump from the Ethanol. Once you swap the IS38, that hpfp duty going to hit 100% :)

      Word on the street is we should play with a GTI HPFP and get it to work.

      That's the route I went. Need to install the manifold still. Curious how much the stock lpfp will handle.

    What accessport works with the alltrack? It doesn't look like cobb sells one for the alltrack specifically

    I’ve got a 2019 SEL with a 6MT and a stage 1 tune. Would you suggest a clutch upgrade with a turbo upgrade?

    • @stratifiedauto
      @stratifiedauto  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I recommend it to get as much torque as possible. We can tune to manage the OEM clutch and have less peak torque but carry similar power up top.

    to do the up grade with is38 turbo, plus clutch upgrade and gti fphp /vacuum box on a 2019 sel manual alltrack COST???

    • @stratifiedauto
      @stratifiedauto  ปีที่แล้ว

      That depends where you get your parts from. I think that going MPI instead of the GTI HPFP gives you more headroom at a lower price.

    Did you pick a turbo yet?

    • @stratifiedauto
      @stratifiedauto  ปีที่แล้ว

      OEM plus looks like a strong pairing is20 or is38. Don’t want to lose too much response and add quite a bit to the top end. We have an is38 sitting here from our R … 🤔

    • @crxgator
      @crxgator ปีที่แล้ว

      @@stratifiedauto do the is38. You won’t be disappointed. Also if you’re able to patch it, you need a GTI HPFP / vacuum box to really take the setup to the proper level. I’m posting a video about my Sportwagen in a second.

    Turbo charged engines love methanol
    even better than they love ethanol!

    • @stratifiedauto
      @stratifiedauto  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Alcohols have high inherent knock resistance so you are right. Methanol is more corrosive than ethanol so unfortunately you can’t mix it with gasoline in the same fuel system so you need a different fuel delivery system. The downside is that these WMI systems are often less reliable. But if ethanol is not in your area it’s definitely an option.
