Good stuff bro, mobile mechanic from SoCal, awesome to see brothers in the trade from another nation up north. I’m always changing my set up when I realize I’ve not used things in a certain drawer for over a year, gave me some ideas. God bless bro!
On the sockets. I keep full sets of chrome because on some trucks I found that the impacts are just wee bit to thicc to fit but the chrome will fit. Really only time I use em
I grew up in a dry cleaner and we had a police uniform contract and we had a bullet/ hand cuff key 5 gallon bucket I’m sure the coverall place has the same for pics and sockets
Need the little m12 chainsaw, that little thing is unbelievable. U can even put the polesaw bar and chain on it if u want it longer, but u can't really push on it, u just gotta let it cut on its own.
How would a awning do on a service truck I mean they don't take to long to pull out these days I feel like that would help keep the weather out of the boxes I am sure it would be a pain on jobs but on the longer jobs I feel like it would be a benefit to some point but I work in a shop so I am sure there is a reason I never see one on a field truck
Haha.had good laugh with the butt plugs.we call them that aswell.im from ireland.the faces some people call when u say ur going to get the butt plug 😅😅
Vans are great, until you start going off road. Lack of 4wd typically, not built nearly as HD, lower carrying capacityand much lower towing capacity too

Shoutout to all the mobile techs, doesn’t matter what company we work for we all know the BS that comes with.

Any idea of the weight of all of the tools and stuff you are carrying? Interesting video. Seems like a nice setup. Thanks for making this.

Really enjoy watching these types of videos, Any chance you can get Cam or Tyler to showcase us there test kits?
Big recommend to buy a telescope bry bar with adjustable claw. Gearwrench/Force makes one. Been a lifesaver a few times ive had to pry some joints off
Use those moisture absorption packets to prevent rust
Shot my service truck is a f550 with a imt 3820 crane with a imt compressor an Miller welder
Good setup can tell you work with your tools
Very well stocked rig man, excellent attitude. Weird street side Canadian crane but a great rig
Love the street side crane. You pull up to a machine slowly and you gauge the required distance to the crane right away. So logical in my opinion.

So what’s the benefit of using a crayon as a lubricant over a good penetrating oil? The crayon trick is a very interesting idea I had never heard of.
Candle does the same

All the Milwaukee you got is what I have but I don't have a service truck. Maybe one day. Those multi-battery chargers is what is next.

not all gun oil is the same
I blast mine with pb once a week.
I work on saltwater machines
Great vid!! As a Brit I do wonder why US and Canada don’t use vans so much??!! It’s super rare to see HD mechanics in pickups.
Vans are great, until you start going off road. Lack of 4wd typically, not built nearly as HD, lower carrying capacityand much lower towing capacity too
The main reason is the difficulty of mounting a crane
6:19 im dead 💀
I really like these videos. It makes me want to do one of my truck. Bucket truck for overhead utility lines
I call the pancake thing a torque portal just makes sense to me
that's a mint name for it
My dad used his "pancake thing" the other day and he called me to tell me that thing saved him hours of work 🤣
What brand is the service body?
Will you do a video with the loadpro?
Nice video man, makes me want to revamp my current setup. What brand are those drawers?
The crayons are actually for snacking

My shop buys little sticks of bees wax for the same reason as the crayons
Zip ties in Vegas gets brittle.
