      @@easy_riders so you're gonna go snowboarding? Don't kick out the back as forcefull as on a freebord or youll land on your as like me when I went back on a snowboard after freebording.

      @@cereal_thinker Yeah definitely, hopefully this winter 🔥 Okay, Ill try to keep that in mind ahah! Ill take any advice you have as a freeborder+snowboarder 😁

      @@easy_riders I guess snowboarding is like freebord 5xing without rocker on ice haha basically edge to edge is infinitely smoother but you can obvisously also use torsional flex and probably when carving or turning you should put equal weight on each foot I think when freeboarding you would have a little more front even when carving? Unless you're carving is that much smoother then mine... I mean i try to do it for training. Malcom moore has great vids one he has a drill where while turning you do little hops since in order du jump you need to weight both feet i guess you could also do that on a freebord.

    I am looking into getting a freebord (i am good on a snowboard) but i cant find any detailed info on which truck is better (the normal or the one on the 5X with the springs) for tricks such as jumping, hitting rails or boxes or anything in the skatepark. I really want to know if the springs and the weird shape of the 5X have any drawbacks or its just as good for tricks

    I'm gonna put a surf truck on one side of the 5x how do you think it'll ride?

    • @easy_riders
      @easy_riders  ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely no idea, only ridden a surfskate once. Surely the freebord truck wouldnt work then?

    Just found out about Freebord today and I’m loving your videos.
    I’m an intermediate snowboarder and tried to get into Longboarding and skateboarding last summer but struggled a bit.
    You mention in your vids that there is a steeper learning curve than skateboarding. Does this apply to us snowboarders?

      @easy_riders  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It really varies, I know of snowboarders who picked up Freebord very quickly and others where it still took time. Either way you'll have a big head start and it'll be even easier on the Freebord 5X 🏂

      @@BlossomingArchitects I mean it's a lot of fun and for me was worth every penny. It's awkward at first but once you get the hang of it it really is like every local hill is a snow slope.
      Whether you wait to get it or not, I'm stoked to hear how you find it!
