80a Orange Skiffs are a luxury. If I had to defend the choice, I would say that they have the best "feel" on the list, and they do last a long time, without too many roundness issues. To your point, they are the most expensive, which factored into our choices. If you had to replace the drifts, what would you throw in?
@@MotionBoardshop Can I chime in? I would like to see a video on basic first aid for the top of a hill. Do I really need to wash out that gravel? Also a video on HOW to core wheels. How to rotate, when I get a slight oval do I pendy or low angle to get it out, what’s the best way to clean core all the way around, etc.
I totally trust your opinion. The only wheels I ever flatspotted were blood orange…probably my fault and they were beautiful to slide until I flattened them. But now I’ll have to give them another go.
Morgans are a different urethane formula than the bangers or the drifts. They tend to wear fast which tends to make them easier to flat spot. @@cmorsley
Check out the Prism Theory V2 front and center. (the blue deck) I've had one for years and if I could custom design a freeride deck? The Prism Theory V2 would be it. Perfect in every way with every feature I would want. The one issue with the Blood Orange Morgan Pro Series wheels is that they really come into their own over 40 mph. Slower than that and you can get some chudder that can cause your board to roll over. I've heard the new Drift Series are a little more forgiving at slower speeds but I haven't tried them but I've also heard great things about the new Powell Peralta Primos that are supposed to be a little grippier than Snakes.
I have the ez hawgs and rayne envys. I concur with the ez hawgs. I can slide it from a standstill 😅. The envys are a different story. I think it's the lip. It's hard to kick out for me. I would need a lot of speed to slide it.
I agree with everything other than the snakes. They chunk way to easy for the price. I enjoyed cloud ride iceez more, better price, better durability and about the same wear speed. Just my opinion tho.
The value for snakes is undeniable though. We could make a video talking about how bad snakes were. They would still be the best selling wheels by a long shot. The Iceezz and Slusheez could be good recommendations, our only concern was our experience with previous versions being swirled. The new batches, and the current batch seems to be doing just fine. But it is like the same formula stuff as the Rayne Envy which is similar, and 70mm.
Such a pro at talking about longboard wheels because he's been doing it for decades! Love it!
I don’t agree with the Drfits being on the “Value” list, but still they are phenomenal wheels. They seem more like a luxury item to me

muirskate markers and the banana peels are up there in value imo @@MotionBoardshop
THANK YOU NATE WE NEED MORE OF THESE ❤
100% agree 🔥
Thank you. My old brain needs fresh ideas, what other videos would you like to see?

Business aside, I'm very surprised to not see Peels on this list given the comparable performance to snakes and a $50 price point.
Stoked Rayne envy made the honorable mentions list! They are my favorite wheels for learning stand ups!!!!
More Banana Milkshakes

Were you riding the Blood Orange Morgans? or the Blood Orange Bangers? Or the Blood ORange Drift Series.
@@MotionBoardshop It was the Liam Morgans in Black thane.

@@austinharrell9948 that’s good to know Austin thanks.
We all know hoots are #1 baby let’s go!!!
No
Do you know how many videos we tried to film on hoots where they would end up swirled as heck.
My man doing the lords work!
Hail Skatan!
Next should be the thaniest wheels! I want dumpers!
venom doesnt make tweakers anymore, but they left thick white lines. I bet the curb stompers are even better
that video is definitely coming up.
need more videos like this :D

such a nostalgic video! this was awesome!
Nate is the og!
Could add kevos with the snakes
not stone ground.
🔥
someone's been watching the Angry Snowboarder, huh? 😉
lots. He is a great source of inspiration. Ideally would like to see more riding clips.
What's the difference between Jammers and Bangers?

Couldnt disagree more. Cloud rides are bad, and snakes don't really chunk if you're not curbing your board or skating on broken glass pavement
Slusheez are my favorite.

great video but you guys need to normalize your volume. I went to another video after this and my ears are bleeding.
So the other video was so loud that its our fault?
@@MotionBoardshop what I'm saying is that your guys videos are extremely quiet.
Can you please bring back free wheel co 🥲
