I've always loved Ghost Valley, Broken Pier, Boo Lake, and Banshee Boardwalk (N64 version). I just get so much nostalgia from those games!
Good point. I should be happy grew up with SNES and N64 while I was toddler during 90s lates and even grew up with GBA on computer while I was young kid during 2000s era

And in Mario Kart Wii too, because Ghost Valley 2 was from SNES.

Broken Pier and Banshee Boardwalk deserve remasters. I’d love to see those either come to mk8 or tour or both.

@@evoloolove8745 I saw that! I’m honestly very excited to see those get the same treatment as gba snowland. N64 banshee boardwalk as well that maps been forgotten about since it’s rerelease in DS. I’d like to see them take some more creative liberty with these tracks a little bit though and make them a bit more visually interesting. Regardless can’t wait to see what happens

Well, when I raced in the flower cup in Mariokart 8, I raced as a girl villager. (ngl she had a pretty cute dress.)
The original Luigi's mansion from the DS kind of reminds me of a fun theme park horror attraction ride, while the original Banshee Boardwalk reminds me of a Doom level.

N64 banshee boardwalk on the DS always creeped me out as a kid, same thing with the end credits where the characters are seen slowly driving along a barren wasteland during a sunset

For the SNES tracks coming back on Super Circuit I would say Ghost Valley 3 is scarier than both of them because the music was pretty creepy and the sky never went lighter

Seeing how there's no Double Dash and Wii nitro tracks based on ghost houses, I guess 7 was the first game to set the standard for having Ghost House tracks in every Mario Kart game onward.

I don't think Wario Shipyard should really count as a ghost track.
Just because ghostly levels within Mario's series have had Fish Bones for enemies, much less the fact that Pirate ships have commonly used the theme of ghosts in pop culture, doesn't mean said race track has much else in common with ghost-like settings...

I hope SNES Ghost Valley Zone Act 2, SNES Ghost Valley Zone Act 3, N64 Banshee Boardwalk, GBA Boo Lake, GBA Broken Pier, 3DS Wario Shipyard & Wii U/Switch Twisted Mansion will be return to Mario Kart Tour, but DS Luigi’s Mansion & SNES Ghost Valley Zone Act 1 are already on Mario Kart Tour.
I think they could add a new ghost course in Mario kart double dash but sadly didn't add in anymore I'm a fan of the boos and king boo 😻

Wario's Shipyard is not a Ghost course. Nor is it themed around ghosts (Fish n' Bone enemies don't count).

Ghost courses peaked with Banshee Boardwalk with a honorable mention to Luigi's Mansion. The levels got too bright and bouncy with too many generic elements instead of more elements taken from the Super Mario franchise.
Also I don't understand why Wario Shipyard is even on this list. There are no ghosts.
