The game in general is fantastic at characterization. Everyone is so expressive and fun. Wish the game was longer because I genuinely love everything about it.
I like how Nintendo gave king boo more facial expressions in Luigi’s mansion 3. Instead of just smiling all the time, now he can show anger, unconsciousness, and even when he’s concentrating the jewel on his crown
King Boo gets even more insane in each Luigi Mansion game. I love how well Next Level Games has been developing him. I played Luigi Mansion 2 and to my surprise the game was actually good and fun, and King Boo surprised me the most recalling the event of what happened in LM1 which is rare of Nintendo game calling event from pre-sequel games. He was mad in LM2, and in LM3 he’s even more mad and terrifying, he wasted no time and put everyone in the painting, heck even in at he beginning of the game he was going to end it all. They did a very good job with King Boo in LM3, I absolutely love his animation and expressions, it really shows how develop he is.
IDK, I personally liked it better when he had a legit motive for going after E Gadd. E Gadd trapped his soldiers in a painting, King Boo sought revenge. It added nuance to his character. On the other hand, him getting sick of losing to Luigi is pretty funny, and makes sense.

In the first game of Luigi's Mansion, King Boo doesn't have much power, in fact he uses a Robot Bowser to fight. Also, his size equals that of a Normal Boo. Luigi's Mansion 2, it can be seen that his power has grown considerably, almost certainly thanks to the gem on his crown (it would make sense since in the first game King Boo does not have a power gem on the crown, but only a common jewel) . Here the average size of him is slightly higher than that of a Normal Boo (Although he can grow larger, as demonstrated during the chase). In Luigi's Mansion 3, his power has grown further, in fact here he can even triple. On the contrary, his sanity has dropped a lot, in the first game he was a Boo who always laughed, in the third game instead, he feels an incredible hatred for Luigi (and I would like to see well, since he ruined his plans twice) . His magnitude here has doubled if not tripled since his predecessor, almost reaching the magnitude of boolossus. Personally, I think the best King Boo is the one in the Luigi's Mansion series. The Boo Kings outside of this series, they just look like a trivial imitation, as they are the same in appearance as normal Boos (except Sunshine's, but that one was created by Shadow Mario, so it doesn't count as real Boo) and they don't inspire no fear.
My theory is that King Boo in and out of Luigi's Mansion is the same (as stated multiple times in the franchise) and the gems he wears in Luigi's Mansion boosts his power, but at the cost of his sanity

Next Level Games knocked it out of the park with King Boo's new design. He looks super dark/sinister and it helps him stand much better as an independent villain.

Daisy (King Boo) who has finally destroyed the poltergust finally reveals him self through daisy as his plans are now a reality, traps Luigi in the painting but PolterPup jumps through Daisy kicking King Boo out making him drop the Luigi painting relaseing him.

King boo is my favourite Mario character and I always use him in Mario kart but is no one gonna talk about how he has defeated Mario by trapping him in a painting 3 times in Luigi’s mansion, He has done a WAY better job at defeating Mario then bowser has, if only he had his powers in the main Mario series bowser would have had the mushroom kingdom a long time ago!
