I bashed my senton hard the other day. Not one single part was broken or damaged. Kev doesnt just durability test them, he finds the limit and goes far beyond. Its awesome.
Back in February, I celebrated getting my first job by upgrading from my discounted Senton 550 to a Big Rock 3S. The lexan Arrma uses on the 550s and the 3S cars are very thick. It took a lot of abuse to break the body, and a blue v1 body was pretty cheap, and I liked the color better than the matte black. My Senton, on the other hand, only has a few minor splits here and there, but other than that it's solid.

I am also surprised. "Arrma tough" is like saying "hard as cotton". I don't think I'll ever own an Arrma except for a speed run vehicle.

I have the senton and after alot of bashing I had the same issue with the wheels locking up. I took it apart many times it worked for a few minutes then the same problem. I found that I had shattered the bearing in the motor and the pin was grinding the edges of the motor away. 👍

This is just bring an RC car and launch it out of the Bowl till it Breaks. No running the transitions or grinding the coping. Just go full blast and HOPE it don't break. Doesn't prove anything but lack of driving skill!! I beef up my rides and drive them Hard! Love the concrete jungle!! This is just a Waste, but if you have fun Destroying your RC and don't care how you drive!!! More power 2 you! 🙄
I can't wait until you can drive them first person with your phone. I think racing them will be a really fun and competitive event.
You got to do a durability competition between the Senton and a Slash 4x4 at this skate park. No holds barred style!
Slash is very nice but it would lose that match up i think. It would be close, but i think the slash would throw a wobbley first. I love the slash though. It isnt as tough as the senton , not quite fast out of the box either ( but very close) , but the slash is a bit more advanced and has more upgrades, though it should have for its higher price. Sort if like a high end toyota vs a lower end lexus to me. One says you have more money and will look good driving to work, the other says you didnt spend as much but will never break down on the way to work. I have both, i love both, but the senton get my vote for speed and durability, while the slash is the one i trust at the track and drives better there (tsm vlx)
This truck runs AWESOME. Multi-speed is great for the grand kids but papa can play with it on high speed and it really flies

I like your videos Kev, because you show us the RC’s that are worth the money we spend. We see the ones that don’t stand up to the hype. It sucks to spend $500.oo plus on an RC, just to have it break the first or second time out. I don’t bash half as hard as you do, but still end up destroying some of my RC’s. I’d say the worlds best cheap Tc ( at least for a stadium truck) is the traxxas rustler 4x4 xl-5/Titan as it’s fast fun and just won’t break full speed into a brick wall or metal post- fine, jumping off of a 3 story building - no no problem, the only issue is it likes to kick off the shock perches but easy replacement and a dusty motors shock sock and chassis cover removes all issues

That Senton has got to be some of the best value in the market. I have one and not only is it super tough, but there’s also a ton of cool scale bodies and wheels that fit it. It’s a great RC all around.

I also believe in the Losi Baja Rey for those looking for scale looks w/ lots of durability. Just soak down all the plastics in wd40 and get metal shock rod ends first☑️
It's also 1/10 and I drive it the same as I drive my Mojave.
The Baja tries to show me it can do everything that it's bigger Cousin can💪 and I Love it💙😁
I own the senton and the slash and I'll tell you, I always prefer to take the senton because I know I won't break anything haha in my opinion it's the best basher for the money
Exactly bro, Senton is a slash killer, I got a senton and I abusive it pretty well lol, my friend has a slash and he breaking it all the time, I broke a couple of bumpers and a Servo, but the amount of abuse mine took and how rough I was with it, definitely worth the money

Kev I have a Senton and when mine started to get stiff i passed it off, then the motor bearing next to the pinion gear blew up and trash the motors insides, I have since gotten a new blx motor and had to replace the bearing after running it couple times as it started too seize again.

Hi Kev, I can’t find the videos (I’ve watched too many) where you’ve made your own cleaning solution, what do you use? Doing a bit of fibreglassing on mine to strengthen shell have you got any vids how you do it I’ve seen you do it a couple of times but it’s trying to find it 🤦🏽♂️

UDR is my fav now! I like the Senton but that UDR is amazing! Also have the TRX-4 High Country Chevy K10 and a MAXX V2 which i also love.

Are there a lot of upgrade/replacement parts for the arrma senton?
I have a skate park sorta similar to that one local to me, I was beating the crap out of my slash 4x4 ultimate there. Despite the fact that I'm still working on my landings, the slash took it all.
Thats amazing sadly here where i live there arent many cool skateparks

I like the GPM suspension arm kit in red☑️
GPM also have the sweetest lite weight chassis braces front and rear in red of course😁
@@surfside75 oh I forgot about the GPM parts, that is true, however arms made of metal for bashing isn't ideal, they look cool though!!

@@surfside75 Nice, I wish RPM made arms the Mojave ideally. Issue with aluminium is you risk bending and breaking other components because the arm doesn't give way like plastic. I'm talking hypothetically here and not first hand though 🧐
@@michaelrc9098 I see. Well since I got my Integy gearcase set for under $100, GPM arms for under $100 full set, I will give it a go and see for myself if it's worth or not.🤙
Have you tried out M2C 17mm 6lug kit for arrma yet? It gets yr stripped wheels going again and absolutely prevents new wheels from stripping.
They are epic!.. I'm truly mean as a Grinch towards my Mojave and no more stripped wheels with the kit installed, it's magic😱😁
