Kevin I need help I’ve gotten a traxxas slash 1/10th scale about three months ago and the Motor has already blown three separate times. What do I do? Please help

_With the addition of the nuts on the Spur Gear... this adds ALOT more rotating mass to the drivetrain!_
_This has to be a noticeable hit with the overall performance!_ _I would think as light as possible is best!_
You won't notice it as there is a big step down from the motor so it's not spinning super fast...

It's been roughly 90-95f in my area the past week or so and a few days at 60% humidity.

Im an old guy who wanted to wanted back into it and watched for a long time before bought a new one. Started with a bangood special and now have a rustler 4x4. X Maxx is my dream RC. Maybe someday when my my kids sports don't eat up all my cash I will have my chance! Keep the videos coming Kevin! They are awesome!

Fun vid as always Kev. I was going to sympathise with 8s Steve, but you gave him a whole new car, which was classy. I'd guess with that Xmaxx collision with the cheaper car, the cheaper car probably hit the Xmaxx on the suspension arm. Saying that, I'm amazed you didn't break an arm when you were running the Xmaxx with slicks and hit that pole.

I think maybe you should do a onroad 1/8 competition nitro car build. With a modified engine if u can find one over the pond🤙. They just look so cool and are so agile.

It sure seems like RC has gotten a lot more durable in the last 10 years. I haven't been into it as much, wrenching them was always a chore and not fun. It seems better, more field serviceable.

What kind of camera do you use for the shots underneath the car. Cause I would think that if it were too big then it would bottom out on all of the jumps.

Where do you get the specs for your speed car motors? Raz says 60hp for his quad motor car and castle only lists them as 8s but no power specs???
Massive tires work very well in the winter for mud bogging. Any time there's very little grip.
I'd never run them in the summer like that !
Also, I lengthened my chassis to reduce the constant wheelies.

use hobby wing max 6 system in the speed car . Those motors have 30 hp each. If you use four of them it will be 120 hp. You can get it to a easy 250 mph.
World record has been updated to 222mph so you have to go 223mph to get the record 😮😮
