That was my only gripe when I saw it years ago in Retro Ford mag. 185 60r13s would be much better!

Agree, it would look better on 15's but 13's are what they came with but being so low makes it look odd, still a good looking car though

I have loved this motor ever since I first laid eyes on it years ago, Paul! Needs 185 60r13s though. I'm putting a 3ltr washer bottle in the boot of the Viva with a one way valve. Cheers. Leigh. PS: I use flat Mikalor exhaust clamps on my 3" systems.

don't forget "construction + use" regulations, from october 1972, washers are a legal requirement, worth 3 points on your licence... [unless you take your windscreen out...]
i used to play silly games with the rozzers, they used to like giving me silly prizes, once got done for spotlamp brackets sticking out of my mk2 grille, you guessed it, construction + use regulations, so i got a copy from the library, boring read, but a licence saver back then, CU20 it was, so the insurance sticks it up ya for "driving a defective vehicle"

Your comment about washer jets is not correct. Whilst it doesn’t need an mot to use it on the road it still needs to comply with the Road Traffic Act. This requires it to have washers whilst on the road. Also it must be roadworthy as the mot would require. So whilst it has no mot requirement it still needs to be fit for the road if used on the road. (I say this as a qualified subject matter expert in traffic law)
