Hey bro! You're a lifesaver! I've done several brake jobs on my own vehicles but when I worked on my wife's 2011 Sequoia, I couldn't get the rotor off. I watched your video, got some M8 X 125 bolts and did exactly what you instructed and the rotors popped right off. Dealership wanted $600+ for rear brake job. I did it for $69 by buying OEM parts on Amazon. Thanks again! Keep up the good work!

No need to put it in neutral. Just release the parking brakes.

Awesome video, especially for those in salty climates! I could not for the life of me find any videos on doing brakes on a tundra anywhere other than the salt free environments, it's a completely different job with salt! Thanks again!

Anybody have a problem when the rotor is actually replaced, the rotor rubs on the the emergency brake backing plate? There was a TSB issued on this and it looks like a nightmare to correct. The original surface area for the emergency brake on the inside of the rotor is 2.5 inches, the replacement rotors are all 2 5/8 causing it to rub on backing plate...

Always open the bleeders it is never recommended to push fluid back to the ABS pump. The valves are closed when doing this and can damage the unit. I have been to Honda, Mazda and Ford brake trading classes when I was a tech. All advise the same thing.

No you open the reservoir so that goes back into the system you don't open up a bleeder

@@silvajay6443 that’s a whole different animal he’s saying the abs unit is only a positive set up and not to push fluid back into the system or it will damage the unit ! But it’s does not have a check valve and fluid does go back and forth other wise the caliber would only close and never open !

You forgot to tell people to turn the rotor to 12/6 oclock and line the adjuster holes up and release the drums!

W-T-F. You tell us what you're going to do then turn off camera. Next scene is the completed step. The purpose of making these videos is to have the camera on (with good lighting) while you are DOING the step. I guess I can glen something out of this only after I've watched other videos first.

You failed to show how to install the brackets, nor the brakes. Need to do the job step by step. Otherwise was informative video.
