- The yoga synergy form is very cleverly constructed so that each posture has adequate preparatory postures or movements and that means that we can go through the practice in a way that feels natural and easy for the body.
One of the drawbacks of some yoga asana practice methods is that it is easy to over stretch some areas of the body which may leave some joints too open with laxity of ligament and soft tissue. What we find with the yoga synergy method is that the emphasis is not so much on deep passive stretching and more on moving with stabilty, this means that joints of the spine and the whole body maintain a good balance of strength, control and coordination as well as range of motion.
When we move the body like this there is an effect on the vital energy and circulation with flows freely and the practice makes a person feel light and energised.
