Great reaction - and I hope you're feeling better ... BABYMETAL usually helps with that sort of thing. Herman Li and Sam Totman wrote the guitar arrangements for 'Road of Resistance' and played on the studio album version, but this was BABYMETAL's support band, the Kami Band. At this show they were Leda Cygnus and Takayoshi Ohmura on guitars, BOH on bass and Hideki Aoyama on drums. They did perform this song with DragonForce one time at an awards show in London. This video was from early 2015 at the Saitama Super Arena with a sold out crowd of 20,000 people or maybe a few more. Su-metal was 17, Yuimetal and Moametal were 15 (and your pronunciation was just fine - Su, Yui and Moa sound like they look they should sound). Their biggest shows to date were two nights at the Tokyo Dome (55,000 people each night) in 2016. You will find that every BABYMETAL song is different - they have songs in virtually every metal genre but they will also mix in other musical styles and genres (not just Jpop) with the metal, sometimes when you least expect it. So some songs are very much metal, others lean towards their pop roots and they do everything in between. Tom E Gunn has put a link to a guide to BABYMETAL which explains their history, who they all are and so on which is very informative (and it will save you a lot of research as well as saving me a lot of typing). I am adding my vote for'Headbanger' live at Legend 1997 (actually that was in December 2013 and was Su-metal's 16th birthday party - she was born in 1997) th-cam.com/video/QEsOaMbNFww/w-d-xo.html or 'Megitsune' (the official video for that is really good, but so are all the live versions - BABYMETAL are usually best live).
@Kaitlyn Marie Headbanger at Legend 1997 is unlikely to get blocked like this one was, but if you're going to do link & sync for future reactions to Babymetal, please consider using this list of performances, as they are much better that what's on TH-cam and actually include all of their songs: docs dot google dot com slash document/d/1DqPsavocgGvCyZfUHvrkgJ5KZMaMkmMgjy2UxNNG96E/view
The beauty of having your own reaction channel is that it’s yours. Yes, sometimes the commenters have negative comments because they just want to watch the videos...if that’s the case, they should just go watch the video. I want to watch people react to the music. Seeing the impact hit everyone differently is always amazing. It shows that music is the absolute universal language. It promotes love, healing, comfort, motivation, as well as a multitude of other emotions. Great reaction!!!! You have a new sub. I hope you’re doing better. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
⚡ 💀 💕 / 🏴 🏴 🏴 "Stand up and shout, Shout!, Justice Forever!" - (Road of Resistance) - BABYMETAL have never apologized for being girls in frilly dresses performing Metal songs. Not every Metal fan was on board to begin with, but they've converted quite a few. : ) Herman Li and Sam Totman from DragonForce contributed guitar tracks for the studio version of this song. The guitarists at this concert were Takayoshi Ohmura (pink guitar) and Leda Cygnus (black guitar). BOH was on bass, and Hideki Aoyama on drums. Those four are all members of The Kami Band (Kami means god or spirit) that support BABYMETAL at their live concerts. DragonForce did perform this song live with BABYMETAL one time, at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards in 2015, when BABYMETAL received the Breakthrough Award.
Great reaction! Don't worry about not talking too much. Genuine reactions are always better than over the top screaming and shouting. I see a lot of people already recommended "Headbanger live Legend 1997" and "Megitsune (official video)". You can't go wrong with either of these.
I'm months into an ADHD hyperfocus streak with Babymetal, so I absolutely understand being so mesmerized by this performance that you forget to talk. Or blink. I love the look on Su's face when she sings the last "Resistance!". After a long and intense performance you can see the "we absolutely nailed that and I feel like a boss" written all over her face.
Reacting is definitely not all about speaking, especially when it comes to music. There are plenty of reactors who are fake who just talk a lot and act loudly excited that way. Your face expresses how you're honestly reacting to the music. Honestly, the way you speak is much better suited for musical reactions than most people. As for Amuse trying to claim your video, you really don't have to worry too much about that. This song is by far the most troublesome. You can find live pro shot videos for just about every one of their songs that have no problem with copyright claims. If in doubt, there is pretty much a pro shot compilation video for every song lol. As for what song next, pretty much every Babymetal song is a different genre of metal. My guess is that one of the most requested songs to react to will be Megitsune, so I will give you a link to that song on a channel that has a bunch of Babymetal videos that are perfect to react to without fear of copyright: th-cam.com/video/MtQoJUBjH5Y/w-d-xo.html
First off, I thought you did a great job with the reaction. You speak from the heart instead of giving canned responses. As far as what songs you should react to next, I'd say all of them. Keep using the links people provide in the comments. They will give you the best experience.
Requesting Megitsune MV next! Also wanted to say that Road of Resistance is the most difficult song to react to since it's got the most agressive blocking. You should have a much easier time with the rest of them!
Hey Kaitlyn, awesome reaction. Don't worry about not talking too much or not knowing what to say, BABYMETAL often leave people speechless! I'm going to throw my hat in the ring for "Ijime, Dame, Zettai" aka IDZ. This video marks their first festival in the west (Sonisphere) and was a catalyst for their soon-to-be world domination, which as a Brit, makes me proud beyond words 🦊 BABYMETAL - Ijime,Dame,Zettai - Live at Sonisphere 2014,UK (OFFICIAL) th-cam.com/video/Ro-_cbfdrYE/w-d-xo.html
How to put this... if you other people have a problems with the way you run your channel.... Dont worry Babymetal army will have no problem straightening them out...so you just do your reactions in any order you want too... you are not alone!!!
Great video! "mesmerized" is good. The smile on your face said more than you know. Although their music can definitely be categorized as metal, BABYMETAL is not your typical heavy metal band. Musically, they are very experimental, and with the heavy incorporation of choreography in their performances, they've been described by some as a _Metal Dance Unit_ . It'd be great to watch you discover more of their music. Welcome to the world of BABYMETAL ;-)
Definitely do the MV for Megitsune. The thing I love about Babymetal is every song is different, but every song is so infectious and get stuck in your head for days. I think also Su said that she feeds off the energy of the crowd. She needs that energy to sing and perform better. She commands the crowd brilliantly too.
Loved your reaction. I usually enjoy it more when people watch the video, and let their facial expressions tell me what they're feeling about what they're seeing, instead of constantly running their mouth and not really paying attention. My first exposure to BabyMetal was in early 2016, when they made their US television debut on Late Night with Stephen Colbert. I couldn't understand a word of Japanese, but their performance blew me away. Been a fan ever since. Hope you're feeling better. You're a beautiful gal, take care of yourself. 👍🏻
we as fans , we are not just passionate but we are very very dedicated to Babymetal. and yes , Babymetal songs using stereo sound really good so you have to use both the earbuds to hear all the sound they make.
I really enjoyed that reaction. I look at a lot of Babymetal reactions, and this one was the most enjoyable reaction I've seen in a while. Don't worry about reacting, your face does it well for you. "I hope you can give me some info" yeeeaah, I'll bet you'll get more than you asked for on that one :) There's usually a few walls of text in the comments of any Babymetal reaction, so I hope you'll have fun reading them. Other than that I'll just take your request and vote for Emiles suggestion instead of typing one, I'll just add that songs from the Legend of 1997 show are among the safest to react to.
Great reaction. And yes, your face did a great job reacting. Babymetal does that to people. I hope you continue with them. I like the way you did your cuts too. Nice job 🤘🦊🦊🦊🤘
Here is a little bit of BABYMETAL info...In 2019, BABYMETAL became the first Asian artists to hit #1 on BILLBOARD's Top Rock Albums chart with their latest album, "Metal Galaxy" and last month it was announced that the album won the MTV Japan VMA 2020 award for BEST ALBUM OF THE YEAR. BABYMETAL has been melting faces and breaking necks for TEN years. Su, the lead singer, is currently 22 years old, while Yui and Moa, are 21 years old respectively. Yes, they were very young when BABYMETAL was formed! BUT in this video, the girls are 16-17 years old. BABYMETAL have performed with, toured, or opened for Metallica, Korn, Dragonforce, Guns N' Roses, Lady Gaga, Rob Halford of Judas Priest (there's a great youtube video of their performance with Rob at a metal award show), and Red Hot Chili Peppers (there is a youtube video of them performing Gimme Chocolate with RHCP, as well as with Korn, and DragonForce), to name a few of many. They have performed at large metal events/concerts in front of 65,000+ skeptical metalheads in Europe (Glastonbury, Download, Sonisphere, etc), US, and Asia. Plus the 20+ awards they have been given. They have 50+ songs and each one is different from the other, so I hope you give the other songs a try. By the way, they have some really great heavy songs too, and I hope you like guitar solos, as well as bass and drum solos, like I do, because they have them too. 🦊🤘
This is an awesome reaction, a wholehearted welcome to the Babymetal family! Don’t worry about not talking much, one of my favorite quotes from Su-metal (the oldest and lead vocalist of the group) when asked about the music of Babymetal is not to think, just feel, and it’s clear you were doing that in your reaction. I look forward to seeing more Babymetal reactions from you in the future 🦊🤘
This was another highly enjoyable reaction. I love your calm manner, to me it's a lot more pleasant than those reactors who overact and jump up and down and act as if they've never seen a music video before. So please keep the videos coming and stay true to yourself/your style :-)
wow I love your hair like that, reminds me of Princess Leia. Btw i'm new to Babymetal too, so i'm gonna watch ur reaction to know more about the group as well
Great reaction! Your smiles say way more than words, so don't worry. Also, don't worry about all the pauses...these are normal for BABYMETAL songs to prevent copyright blocks. BTW, I hope you are feeling better, if not, I hope you feel better soon!
Very nice reaction!! Thanks! Good thing about reacting to music is that you don't need to know technical things and so, and sometimes you don't even need to verbalize your feelings. Because it's all about how the music makes you feel while listening to it. So don't worry, it's perfectly okay! I don't even know how to describe how I feel when I listen to BABYMETAL, I just know that I totally love it and I mean LOVE it. Just as our Queen SU-METAL says: "Don't think, feel" :) See you next time!
I added my likes to the other comments. My first video of Babymetal that I saw was the official MV for Megitsune, a few years ago now. I was a bit put off by how young the trio were, but was very captivated by Su's voice and the song with its breakdown was fantastic. I thought maybe they would just be a short-lived thing, the girls would grow up and move on... Until I watched Road of Resistance. That was when I knew they had staying power and made a total fanboy out of me. My reaction was very similar, although I did not know Drangonforce at the time (I had been off listening to quite different genres). As others have said, you do you and don't worry about the rest.
Great Reaction! Don't stress the details, just do you. I've added a like to the song recommendations I agree with... *Megitsune* (Official MV). So you know...every Babymetal song is rooted in a different subgenre of Metal music. It's a wonderful ride to see what surprise every song brings. Enjoy.
Good reaction, actually! How about "Ijime,Dame,Zettai - Live at Sonisphere 2014", it's another melodic speed metal tune, and it recorded their first successful step into European metal scene. BABYMETAL proved that girls can be metal without being "hot" or "pseudo-masculine". Considering that metal had been dominated by white male, the fact that girls from Far East made success there means a lot of things.
Seeing a genuine smile that won't go away while listening to Babymetal, is the only reaction most of the One needs. It's what happens to all of us. ❤️👍
This song, as many BABYMETAL ones, is meant to cheer you up and give you the strength to ... well, resist, so I'm glad it may have helped a bit, keep it going! It's a farewell song, usually played at the end of a set list or as encore, they opened a show with RoR only once, during their Red Night at Tokyo Dome, I like to think that Koba made that choice, to give the girls and the Kami Band, the strength and confidence to face such a huge crowd, 55.000 people were attending that show!🤘🦊⚡
I agree with the others who have stated that your reaction is better than someone who feels that they have to talk over the whole song. Babymetal fans love to see the "I'm not quite sure what this is, but I think I might love it" look on peoples faces. And I actually enjoyed where you came back in after the fact and added in bits that you couldn't think of at the time that you recorded. And when you spliced in the "no more captions" bit I found very funny. If you want something a bit different from the band, try Onedari Daisakusen. It's one where just the two younger members preform. Hope your week improves from the rough start.
Great reaction. Their relationship with the fans is sorta awesome. The girls were *really* young when they started, and it sorta began like a game where the harder the girls worked at pretending to be a metal band, the harder the audience would play along and cheer them on. By the time of this concvert they had been 'faking it till they make it' for so long that they had totally actually made it, and actually were an insanely talented heavy metal band, and the audience had followed them along for the whole journey. Check out Doki Doki Morning next, it's their very first song, and it's 10 years old this year, and you'll totally freak at how tiny and cute they are. th-cam.com/video/4QbAXXXOJF8/w-d-xo.html
I wouldn't say they ever pretended to be a metal band. If they were pretending to be a metal band they would have put on fake tattoos and wore Metallica t-shirts not tutus and hair ribbons. If they actually had pretended to be a metal band they would have failed from the start.
Dont ever worry about talking while reacting to Babymetal. People like me who love babymetal. Love watching people fall in love with them. I loved this reaction video, seeing you mesmerized.
Nice reaction, your face describes your reaction very well, it's a "i don't know what to say, i didn't expect that but i like it so much" Kind of reaction, which is normal in BabyMetal, so yes, welcome to BabyMetal galaxy, when every song sounds different and expect the unexpected, as Su-Metal (the lead singer in the middle) says, "Don't think, FEEL!". Next song is definitely HEADBANGEEER! from Legend of 1997 Live. I bet you'll love it, keep the good work and i hope you feel better, BabyMetal songs can make you happier and feel better, have a good day.
Babymetal has a way of getting the crowd involve it’s pretty much ebb and flow with them. Their crowd control is always on some other level and it’s amazing. Many will say which is true their live performances are top notch bar none.
Thanks for uploading in midnight. Enjoyed very much and looking forward to seeing your next reaction. Next, perhaps, Headbangeeeer 1997 will blow your mind. :D
Thank you for the great reaction!! Yes, Babymetal and DragonForce have been good friends for years and Sam and Herman wrote/recorded the guitars for the studio version of this tune.
Welcome to the fox hole! I loved your reaction - first reactions to Babymetal are always a joy to watch; it's the "what is this?", "this is weird", "I like this", "am I allowed to like this", "I don't care, I like this...no, I think I love this" and chain of facial expressions. One favour though - your overall sound volume is low and I had to boost the volume to hear you - when moving to the next video I nearly got my ears blown off. Keep reacting, being honest and being lovely.
i like watching su patiently help get the audience back on time. the music had only cut out for a few seconds, and in that time the audience had drifted way out of sync. i guess there's a reason the girls are on stage and everyone else... isn't, lol.
That is how they get you! You watch one video and you just kinda sit there dumbfounded and speechless, then out of curiosity you have to see more, then you realize you've fallen head first into the bottomless foxhole that is being a BABYMETAL fan. Something about the energy they give off in their performances is just so infectious and just always put me in a good mood no matter what. I really expected to not like BABYMETAL at first, but here I am. Also, absolutely do "Headbanger" live from the Legend 1997 concert next, it is personally my favorite song/performance of theirs and I know it is very popular among others as well, here is a link: th-cam.com/video/QEsOaMbNFww/w-d-xo.html Edit: Oh, also, since you said you weren't in the best mindset when you filmed this, please do take care.
Really nice reaction and sorry you were feeling off, a lot of people are like that at the moment, let's hope vaccines etc sort it out so some form of normality can resume, including live gigs ! I am an old time heavy rock/metal fan and was amazed when I first saw Babymetal - it should not work but really does and Su-metal is one of the best front people out there (that voice! that death stare!). Keep up the good work Kaitlyn !!
The best thing about Babymetal is everytime we watch them LIVE in any concerts.Better watch thier live performances often, you'll be more into Babymetal after this 😊👍
Choose joy: listen to Babymetal! Great reaction! You don’t need to be loud, your smile showed your true reaction. Also I could hear you fine, so the subtitles (while appreciated) weren’t needed.
they have lot of songs. For example: most funny songs: Gimme Chokolate , Catch me if u can most favourites: Headbanger , lyric rock: Shine (very nice song) heavy metal rap songs: Gj , Onedari, BxMxC future techno-metal: da da dance (its just my personal recomendations.. they have many more )
Reactions are not just words and your smile and expressions said a lot . BabyMetal fans are only to willing to give you info as you probably already seen . If your going down the foxhole that is BabyMetal We will help . Your in for a great journey and the question you will be asking when will i get to see them live . Once you see them live it's like a drug your planning how to including going to Japan for there arena shows . Look forward to your next BabyMetal reaction . 🤘🦊🤘 Forgot to mention BabyMetal and BMTH are friends and are fans of each other and BMTH opened for BabyMetal in Japan .. Short Interview with Oli th-cam.com/video/a-Igv3SdAXE/w-d-xo.html
Great reaction. Babymetal have the tendency to leave you speechless, best think to do is just enjoy the ride. The whole lore of Babymetal is 3 girl were sent by the fox god to bring a new form of metal. Now few years later Yui-Metal had to leave through health issues now the fox god has sent 3 back up dancers called the avengers who switch around to take Yui’s spot. The one is the fan base. Anyway there’s a song you should check out catch me if you can budokan black night.
Metal doesnt apologize being metal. Neither should people. ..as I saw someone recommend this, Babymetal Death can be a shock, doesnt mean culturally same as in west, the symbolism is really not same. Also, I am=desu, death is pronounced as dess in japan, its a play on that difference. Stay safe.
whatever you are going through, i hope you come out of it with growth from the experience and use it to ROCK THE WORLD!! i see you got it in you to change the world 🌎
Your smile as i have commented in previous comment is such a big brillant to me. I can only look at you and im enjoying it. Im kinda jealous honestly... you got the power to shine like a star and this is awesome o.o. Your smile and face gesticulation etc is amazing cause its so cute i ish to have your power hah
Baby Metal is infectious. First song I ever heard was Catch Me If You Can, and at first I was like wtf is this? But the longer I listened the more I got hooked, lol. I absolutely love Baby Metal. I had the luck to see them live in Atlanta last year.... if the chance ever comes for you to see them live you have to go. A good song for you to react to is Karate, Rondo of Nightmare, Shanti Shanti Shanti, Megitsune, Ijime Dame, Zettai, Onedari Daisakusen, Awadama Fever, Tales Of The Destiny, Kagerou..... and btw! You do a great job on your reaction videos. Don't worry one bit about what anybody thinks or says. Don't worry that you don't talk when you do your reaction. Just enjoy the video and what your doing, take it all in and formulate your thoughts and opinion. You're awesome, and I love your channel. All you true followers have your back and support you. Keep up the awesome job you're doing here. 🤘🦊🤘
So this wasn't Herman Li and Sam Totman playing for this live performance. This was Babymetal''s backing band. However one of my favorite Babymetal stories was the time Dragonforce WAS their backing band. In 2015 a lot of British metalheads were trying to get Babymetal booked for Download 2015. They had played Sonisphere the year before and absolutely slayed it. So the pleasure was on Download's promoters. Then the Download management company tweeted something like "Babymetal has it's time and place but there is no place for them at Download." You know, because "young Japanese girls can't be metal" bullshit. Well Babymetal shows up at Download in the backstage area anyways. Dragonforce was headlining and during their show they had Babymetal come out and they played Babymetal's Gimme Chocolate while Babymetal sang it. Now the girls (now young women) in Babymetal are as sweet as can be and would never say this but I'm sure as far as Dragonforce was concerned it was a big fuck you to the Download promoters and Babymetal's haters. The best thing though was the next year in 2016 Babymetal headlined at Download. These girls don't let anything get in their way.
Your face is reaction enough 🤯🥰 Great honest heartfelt reaction!! Way to keep it real! Keep it up!! 🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼 Love who you are and enjoy life, it's too short to do otherwise.
Whenever I have the bad day, Babymetal cures it with the quickness. Nice reaction. And if your looking for a good laugh, you should see the video where Babymetal struggles with the flags. It's cute and funny, plus shows how professional they are. There is a very inaccurate rumor going round that Dragonforce wrote this song. No, Herman Li, of Dragonforce has clearly stated that this is a Babymetal song that he and Sam played guitars on, that is why it has a Dragonforce guitar sound.
Great reaction. Hope things get better for you! Always willing to chat if you need somebody to talk to. Sometimes talking to somebody you don't even know is good because you don't have to worry about judgement. Either way, just find SOMEBODY you feel comfortable with and talk to them. As for the reaction, well done. I can't wait to hear and watch more reactions from you!
at this point, it's okay for road of resistance to be muted halfway, rather than cut moments out, cause most people watching can sing along already knowing what the parts sound like ... i know cause i did when it was muted, lol. I got into this band earlier this year and became completely obsessed with them. there's a video called "the unhelpful guide to babymetal" on youtube if you ever want to do research without having to do research on babymetal, lol. it helps out in learning about the girls, the band, and their journey from the beginning to 2019. It's honestly hard not to know what song not to recommend, so here's my personal pick for beginning: either Gimmie Chocolate (official), because it's Babymetal beginner 101 everyone's gotta watch. and Megistune (live), because the atmosphere is insane.
loved your reaction, yes all bands have passionate fans, some more than others that will defend thier band to the hilt for example pantera, slayer, judas priest, metallica/megadeth all very passionate and very loyal fan bases but all fans of metal and all music genre fans in general know thier band, songs and also have a favorite member or members but they always have been welcoming and friendly when i went to go see the bands, and yes i seen all the big metal acts in person and that is the best way to judge a band is to go and see how they play and act live in person
This is actually a GREAT BABYMETAL song to start with! It is no coincidence that it reminds you of Dragonforce! Herman Li and Sam Totman OF Dragonforce cowrote and played the guitars on the original studio version! Dragonforce also backed BABYMETAL on this song and Gimme Chocolate at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards performance!
Nice & thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。In your video, Su-Metal shouted something at 08:49. That means "Bring them on!". Fans analyzed that the shout was thrown at people who had been ignoring, underrating, mocking, hating and even trying to discredit BABYMETAL. That shout was necessary in 2015 but no longer now. Now in 2021 BABYMETAL had restarted their activities taking strict countermeasures against infection here in Tokyo and completed 10 BABYMETAL Budokan concerts on April 15 to commemorate their 10th anniversary. I fortunately could witness 9 shows. On Day-10 Su shouted the same words for the first time in several years, smilingly.
Excellent reaction! Metal that's FUN & makes you HAPPY - who knew? Welcome to "THE ONE", as christened by BABYMETAL. We are BABYMETAL'S fanbase, possibly the most age, gender, ethnically & culturally diverse fanbase in the world. We are knowledgeable, engaged, passionate, kind, & humble (although I cannot say that last part applies to me 😁). I'm glad you chose to listen & act upon our urgings for you to react to BABYMETAL! You mentioned theatrics. Yuimetal once told an interviewer (I'm paraphrasing): "We think of our CD's & any other form of airplay (Spotify, etc.) as business cards, with the hope that those that hear our music will be enticed enough to come see us perform." BABYMETAL & the mega bad-ass KAMI Band are all about the performance. When reacting to BABYMETAL it helps to follow one of their core philosophies: "Don't think. FEEL." (Like us ADD/ADHD folks have any choice! 😁) Arigatou! 🦊🤘 #notacult
Thank you for doing the reaction. I suspected you would like them. :-) My brain can also be in a bad state at times, so I think it's really cool/brave of you to keep doing what you want. Your pronunciations of their names was actually correct. Yeah, Kawaii-metal is at the very least a contrast. Almost sounds like opposites that can't fit. Even a stupid idea on paper. But Babymetal make it work. They are like bad-ass rockstars, but smaller LOL (no, really, now they are adults they are still not that tall). But they look huge on stage.
most of people just start the video and thats all, is refreshing find a genuine reaction and see you looking the band on google and wiki because they caught your interest, my vote is for shanti that song was my first one on this band and is amazing, sumetal is a badass singer
You have no reason to apologize to anyone. It´s your platform! I think you did a great job. Just be yourself, and people who connect with you will gravitate towards that! Keep up the good work! :)
It's okay to not feel okay sometimes you don't need to be sorry for that but yeah as someone already said if you do feel not okay in the future just listen to Road of Resistance or (when you have reacted to it) watch the cute and funny moments videos of the members that i recommended in one of your videos lately and i can assure you they will put a smile on your face again and make you feel better 😊 1:42 that would be a thing most the time you react to a babymetal song Song because you would not be able to guess what the song is going to be like if you haven't heard it before because Babymetal plays many Metalgenres but you gonna still enjoy no matter what if you already liked the first song (like this one 😁) 2:10 also very understandable and this moment right here is also one of the reasons why Su is called the Queen of Metal/Metal Goddess 😁 2:48 you are right 👍🏻 Dragonforce or basically the Guitarist of Dragonforce Herman Li did a collaboration on this Song with them so the Riffs in this Song are written by him 3:56-4:04 that's true this is where the J Pop influence comes in because every J Pop Group is focusing having a really entertaining performance fitting to their music and babymetal does the same just fitting to metalmusic 5:04 yes it is called a Solo 😁 5:36 i'm SO GLAD that you point this out because i 100% agree with you that's basically why i love japanese bands in general because they always want to bring in their fans to sing along with them or do the same dancemoves 6:31-7:04 right now you can hear over 20k people sing this part 😍 9:26-10:25 you are doing a great job even though you were very quiet most of the times but you are right your face says more then 1000 words can describe 😊 10:48-11:12 that's also a very common thing in visual kei bands (different type of metalband) saying their bandname 😊😁 12:32-12:45 sure can do 😊👍🏻 No you are saying the names correctly 😊 Herman Li and Totman by the way were also guest guitarist for this song and as for the meaning of the Song i understand it as no matter what kind of obstacles you have in your life (Road of Resistance) don't stop believe in yourself and you will overcome them 😊
So, just happened to catch your video, was a good reaction. But best part of the video was your smile, was quite striking. Seemed at times you were trying to cover it up with your hand, don't. It's beautiful. Keep on doing what you're doing.
I recommend you “BABYMETAL-Ijime,Dame,Zettai 2014 LIVE at Sonispher[UK](Official)” I'm sure you like it. That is the first performance abroad for them, and in front of large number of people. They were only 15 or 16years old at that time. Incredible. I was surprised with their courage. Maybe you'll like the song, “Gimme chocolate” too. This is the most famous song at that time .
Ijime Dame Zettai live at Sonisphere 2014 is another gem
Oh yes.
..,🖤🐺🖤
Id say its my favourite song....but tomorrow its song 4, then the day after iine.....what can ya do hey?!? 😂
@@Sharmac77 I hear ya. It changes every song lol
The most important concert in its history, I think.
legend live
You have an infectious smile. :) Glad you're back into some Babymetal. Love your reactions. Try "Headbanger" Live from the Legend 1997 show.

"Stand up and shout, Shout!, Justice Forever!" - (Road of Resistance) -
BABYMETAL have never apologized for being girls in frilly dresses performing Metal songs.
Not every Metal fan was on board to begin with, but they've converted quite a few. : )
Herman Li and Sam Totman from DragonForce contributed guitar tracks for the studio version of this song.
Love your reaction! I have ADD myself and I know what its like. Keep it up!! Also, Headbanger, Legend 1997 live performance was reeeaaally good ^_^
Reacting is definitely not all about speaking, especially when it comes to music.
BxMxC, SHANTI SHANTI and Karate are personal favoites 👌
@@RGPeiponen My favorites have no consistency. I'd say my top three are RoR, Sis Anger, and Shine.
BabyMetal- Megitsune

Live. All day.
This song has one of the best breakdowns ever

Good reaction! I love your smile 😊. You need watch Headbanger or Megitusne live. Believe me, are absolutely Amazing! See you in the next 🤟🏻 🦊 🔥 🔥 🔥
Megitsune is one of the few BM songs that I think the music video is the best way to go, not that the live version is bad, the MV is just great.
Hey Kaitlyn, awesome reaction. Don't worry about not talking too much or not knowing what to say, BABYMETAL often leave people speechless!
I'm going to throw my hat in the ring for "Ijime, Dame, Zettai" aka IDZ.
This video marks their first festival in the west (Sonisphere) and was a catalyst for their soon-to-be world domination, which as a Brit, makes me proud beyond words 🦊

How to put this... if you other people have a problems with the way you run your channel.... Dont worry Babymetal army will have no problem straightening them out...so you just do your reactions in any order you want too... you are not alone!!!
Exactly!!! Well said. Thank you
Right! They don't call us the Kawaii Knuckleheads for nothing!
thanks ☺️
we as fans , we are not just passionate but we are very very dedicated to Babymetal.
and yes , Babymetal songs using stereo sound really good so you have to use both the earbuds to hear all the sound they make.
Recommend: Babymetal - Rondo of Nightmare (with Mischief of Gods Intro)
@@Jjonnnnnn I concur.
Definitely!!
Btw i'm new to Babymetal too, so i'm gonna watch ur reaction to know more about the group as well
Welcome to the One 🤘🦊🤘
Just as our Queen SU-METAL says: "Don't think, feel" :)
See you next time!
Welcome to "The One". Great reaction. Also the song "The One" which is about Babymetal Fans would be a good song to react to. ❤🤘🦊🤘❤
Enjoy.
Great job. Nobody knows what to say exactly about babymetal at first lol.
I like the captions you added in too
Please react baby metal - ijime, dame zettai live! 🥺🔥
@@jeffschreifels8651 Amen to that
Too bad their relationship with reactor channels isn't so great
@@crapstirrer Seriously. For a band who's reputation was basically built on a youtube viral video, you'd think they'd be a bit more encouraging.

Babymetal has a way of getting the crowd involve it’s pretty much ebb and flow with them. Their crowd control is always on some other level and it’s amazing. Many will say which is true their live performances are top notch bar none.
Seriously...great BM reaction. And you are so cute when you told us there would be no more captions.
Thanks for uploading in midnight.

Keep reacting, being honest and being lovely.
i like watching su patiently help get the audience back on time. the music had only cut out for a few seconds, and in that time the audience had drifted way out of sync. i guess there's a reason the girls are on stage and everyone else... isn't, lol.
A Babymetal song a day helps keep the blues at bay. Really, it does.
Also, absolutely do "Headbanger" live from the Legend 1997 concert next, it is personally my favorite song/performance of theirs and I know it is very popular among others as well, here is a link: th-cam.com/video/QEsOaMbNFww/w-d-xo.html

God was in a very good mood the morning he sculpted your face. Amazing smile! Wear it forever.
Like I saw on your reaction video, Babymetal makes everyone smile and that's why I like it! :-)
So nostalgic watching someone discover BABYMETAL after the original members are gone.
Love who you are and enjoy life, it's too short to do otherwise.
The "Magic" on BabyMetal is that they are loved from the teen to old Metalheads like me (45yo). Welcome in the Foxhole!
i hope you're feeling better i really enjoyed your reaction i"ll sub for more baby metal if you end up doing more :).
loved your reaction, yes all bands have passionate fans, some more than others that will defend thier band to the hilt for example pantera, slayer, judas priest, metallica/megadeth all very passionate and very loyal fan bases but all fans of metal and all music genre fans in general know thier band, songs and also have a favorite member or members but they always have been welcoming and friendly when i went to go see the bands, and yes i seen all the big metal acts in person and that is the best way to judge a band is to go and see how they play and act live in person
Finally you can posted it.
Love yoour reaction girl🤘🏿🦊🤘🏿
12:12 damn girl that cut was smooth. subbed for more reactions keep it up.
I loved your genuine reaction and I can't wait to see you react to more BABYMETAL.
Yuimetal once told an interviewer (I'm paraphrasing): "We think of our CD's & any other form of airplay (Spotify, etc.) as business cards, with the hope that those that hear our music will be enticed enough to come see us perform."
BABYMETAL & the mega bad-ass KAMI Band are all about the performance.
When reacting to BABYMETAL it helps to follow one of their core philosophies:
"Don't think. FEEL."
(Like us ADD/ADHD folks have any choice! 😁)
Arigatou! 🦊🤘 #notacult
It is a reaction channel, it is ok to pause to comment on what you feel. If someone complains about the pauses they can go look at the original video
You don't need to apologize, we all have bad days, hope you're feeling better!
Thank you for doing the reaction. I suspected you would like them. :-)
My brain can also be in a bad state at times, so I think it's really cool/brave of you to keep doing what you want.
Thank you for taking the time reacting to babymetal, and i hope you're feeling better, we'll always be here to support you! :)
Hello Kait! Another great song and performance was Headbanger Live @ Legend 1997, maybe you like that one too!
most of people just start the video and thats all, is refreshing find a genuine reaction and see you looking the band on google and wiki because they caught your interest, my vote is for shanti that song was my first one on this band and is amazing, sumetal is a badass singer
You have no reason to apologize to anyone. It´s your platform!
I think you did a great job. Just be yourself, and people who connect with you will gravitate towards that!
Keep up the good work! :)
It's okay to not feel okay sometimes you don't need to be sorry for that but yeah as someone already said if you do feel not okay in the future just listen to Road of Resistance or (when you have reacted to it) watch the cute and funny moments videos of the members that i recommended in one of your videos lately and i can assure you they will put a smile on your face again and make you feel better 😊
1:42 that would be a thing most the time you react to a babymetal song Song because you would not be able to guess what the song is going to be like if you haven't heard it before because Babymetal plays many Metalgenres but you gonna still enjoy no matter what if you already liked the first song (like this one 😁)
2:10 also very understandable and this moment right here is also one of the reasons why Su is called the Queen of Metal/Metal Goddess 😁
2:48 you are right 👍🏻 Dragonforce or basically the Guitarist of Dragonforce Herman Li did a collaboration on this Song with them so the Riffs in this Song are written by him
3:56-4:04 that's true this is where the J Pop influence comes in because every J Pop Group is focusing having a really entertaining performance fitting to their music and babymetal does the same just fitting to metalmusic
5:04 yes it is called a Solo 😁
5:36 i'm SO GLAD that you point this out because i 100% agree with you that's basically why i love japanese bands in general because they always want to bring in their fans to sing along with them or do the same dancemoves
6:31-7:04 right now you can hear over 20k people sing this part 😍
9:26-10:25 you are doing a great job even though you were very quiet most of the times but you are right your face says more then 1000 words can describe 😊
10:48-11:12 that's also a very common thing in visual kei bands (different type of metalband) saying their bandname 😊😁
12:32-12:45 sure can do 😊👍🏻
No you are saying the names correctly 😊
Herman Li and Totman by the way were also guest guitarist for this song and as for the meaning of the Song i understand it as no matter what kind of obstacles you have in your life (Road of Resistance) don't stop believe in yourself and you will overcome them 😊
Great reaction! + please stop apologizing about everything, you're doing great :D
So, just happened to catch your video, was a good reaction. But best part of the video was your smile, was quite striking. Seemed at times you were trying to cover it up with your hand, don't. It's beautiful. Keep on doing what you're doing.
I recommend you “BABYMETAL-Ijime,Dame,Zettai 2014 LIVE at Sonispher[UK](Official)”
I'm sure you like it. That is the first performance abroad for them, and in front of large number of people. They were only 15 or 16years old at that time. Incredible.
I was surprised with their courage.
Maybe you'll like the song, “Gimme chocolate” too. This is the most famous song at that time .
