yes!!!
Actually, with Babymetal a lot of the time their is more going on than people think. This Babymetal show at Tokyo Dome was 2 days sold out in a row, the performed all songs from the first 2 albums, no song was repeated. The outtro on the second day the band kept repeating the same tune while the girls made a victory lap around 55 000 people stadium & the huge stage and then up the elevator to the top part of the stage to finish the show. The repeating took its toll on his legs and legend has it he had to be helped to leave the stage. So you kind of are not wrong. :-) He also brought a towel and drumsticks from his father who passed away used when drumming during his career (he was famous in his own right).

This is just one of 25 different songs BabyMetal performed over two days, on a gigantic high-tech stage. My head hurts just thinking about the rehearsals. The BabyMetal dancers are definitely Cardio Queens. 😎
This is why they have introduction videos, etc. in between songs for big shows. :-)
@@autohmae There was also White BabyMetal, Black BabyMetal, and the Kami Band solos to allow for costume changes, hydration, etc. Those videos also give a lot of context that gets lost when we just see the musical numbers. But, the rehearsals for this show probably seemed endless. 😎
I can't imagine how it would feel to have a band as good as the Kami band backing me up.. the girls must be so proud of them.. and the Kami band must be just as proud to have the best ever front singers like these three girls.. together they are the best band that's ever been on a stage.. and I'm only 61 years old and have been playing music my whole live and Babymetal has given life back to this generations music .
If you've played a sold-out TOKYO DOME 55,000 SEAT STADIUM two nights in a row ( SEPT 19-20 2016 ) - - you are immortal! BABYMETAL 4 LIFE….

the song is called _babymetal death_ not just _death_ .
it's a play on words. there is no "th" sound in japanese so it ends up sounding like "babymetal des" (we are babymetal).

This is what you get when you combine metal with classical music. Beethoven would really like this! All the stops and starts are timed perfectly! Su's voice and the blend of all three girls is magical. Kami Band just fits so well.

Nice reaction & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。In a recent interview, Su-Metal replied : "TOTD was very difficult, especially it has no rhythm, of course, it does but looks so ..... About 10 second after its start, I lost correct tune and it continued for the 1st verse, I regretted it ..... I am still regretful for it so I have a intention to retry it" (excerpt). Although I believe no one thought she was singing out of tune or in inaccurate pitch, the intricacy of this song made even our Metal Queen feel uneasy. In addition, after watching your video, I reconfirmed the reason why the band in BABYMETAL's back has been called "Kami (= God)"
Funny you mentioned Avatar they opened for Babymetal in the US in 2019, two of my favorite bands.
The other technically song by them is "brand new day" its featuring polyphia guitarist, and "night night burn" it has mexican-balad style

Night Night Burn has some Angra aspects.
It certainly has hispanic elements. I could hear that song here on a mediterranean summer night and it would fit perfectly. It has an obvious salsa vibe, but also some riffs really similar to spanish guitar music from the 18th century, that is also used in mexican music. In the end it's his own thing, with hispanic flavor.

Su-metal said this in a recent interview about this song: That song has no rhythm at all… well it’s there, but it’s not there (laughs). As such, the dance choreography was very difficult, and we spent a lot of time on it. As we practiced it over and over again I wondered if we could really perform it. And then… I can say this now, but I lost track of the sound [an in-ear-montor malfunction] about 10 seconds into the song, so I was completely lost for the first section, and it was a real source of regret. Tales is a really difficult song to perform, and I don’t know if I can perform it right now. I’m afraid to try because there’s a high possibility of failure, but at the same time, I still feel regrets and want to get my vengeance on it.

Not sure how this song came about sounds like snippets and Riffs they had left over a, A masterful piece of music , and as I see from the comment below Hadessillo mentions the lead in piano score to the One which is just stunning , to think there ay be piano scores like that to BM songs is awesome.

Yes, Babymetal has their own sound but it's pretty much always with each song they take on a new (sub)genre of metal or music and make their own interpretation of it thus in keeping with their own sound. Thus having both their own sound and doing something new every time. Their is a huge amount of talent and work involved in Babymetal. This was their interpretation of progmetal. It took 2 years to write (obviously they were working on other things too in parallel)

Pulling this song off live at Tokyo Dome with only two guitarists still blows my mind.

Check out Band Maid, basically a straight ahead female Rock band from Japan. A lot of live videos. "Freedom" is an outstanding performance. These ladies are great song writers and players. They're excellent musicians. Nonetheless there are so many great bands coming from Japan. Japanese are keeping Rock fresh and keeping it alive. What are they feeding those kids?
Great reaction to one of BabyMetals "strangest" tracks. As I've said before, it's like somebody had loaded 10 tracks into a Cd and is pressing the random track button over and over. I suppose that's Prog Rock for you though :)
A reviewer ones said: it's like they took all the leftovers from the other tracks of the album and put it in one song. :-)

Ma forse qui in Italia molti "metallari" (ai miei tempi si diceva così, adesso non so se il termine sia cambiato) dovrebbero finirla di fare i puristi del metal denigrando questo fenomeno. Il loro atteggiamento di superiorità nei confronti delle Babymetal denota in loro uno sciocco snobismo che sinceramente li rende ridicolmente anacronistici. Le Babymetal possono piacere o non piacere (come per tutti gli altri gruppi o generi musicali) e questo è più che legittimo, ma sottovalutarle "a prescindere" quando nel resto del mondo mietono un successo di pubblico "del settore" che ha dell'incredibile, rende noi italici sempre più provincialotti e ottusi. Per fortuna ci sono altri appassionati, come voi che scrivete e voi che fate queste "reaction", che non si fermano alla superficialità delle cose, ma ne vanno a fondo scoprendo il talento, la bravura e la genialità di questo progetto. Per questo vi ringrazio.

Piccola curiosità: avete trovato solo questi fan cam di questa canzone, perchè è stata fatta in Live 1 sola volta, data la complessità! Però SU-METAL ha dichiarato di voler provare a portarla di nuovo, anche perchè non si è ritenuta completamente soddisfatta di questa performance!
comunque è una dimostrazione di una superiorità tecnica e di creatività complessiva (immagini, suoni, voce, stage) che lascia senza parole.
