I can't imagine how it would feel to have a band as good as the Kami band backing me up.. the girls must be so proud of them.. and the Kami band must be just as proud to have the best ever front singers like these three girls.. together they are the best band that's ever been on a stage.. and I'm only 61 years old and have been playing music my whole live and Babymetal has given life back to this generations music .
Actually, with Babymetal a lot of the time their is more going on than people think. This Babymetal show at Tokyo Dome was 2 days sold out in a row, the performed all songs from the first 2 albums, no song was repeated. The outtro on the second day the band kept repeating the same tune while the girls made a victory lap around 55 000 people stadium & the huge stage and then up the elevator to the top part of the stage to finish the show. The repeating took its toll on his legs and legend has it he had to be helped to leave the stage. So you kind of are not wrong. :-) He also brought a towel and drumsticks from his father who passed away used when drumming during his career (he was famous in his own right).
Need to follow this up with THE ONE as Tales of the Destinies is is kind of a precursor to THE ONE. They should be reacted too as a BOX set :) Great reaction btw. Good to have musicians react to Babymetal.

the song is called _babymetal death_ not just _death_ . it's a play on words. there is no "th" sound in japanese so it ends up sounding like "babymetal des" (we are babymetal).

Although I believe no one thought she was singing out of tune or in inaccurate pitch, the intricacy of this song made even our Metal Queen feel uneasy. In addition, after watching your video, I reconfirmed the reason why the band in BABYMETAL's back has been called "Kami (= God)"
It certainly has hispanic elements. I could hear that song here on a mediterranean summer night and it would fit perfectly. It has an obvious salsa vibe, but also some riffs really similar to spanish guitar music from the 18th century, that is also used in mexican music. In the end it's his own thing, with hispanic flavor.

This is what you get when you combine metal with classical music. Beethoven would really like this! All the stops and starts are timed perfectly! Su's voice and the blend of all three girls is magical. Kami Band just fits so well.
Su-metal said this in a recent interview about this song: That song has no rhythm at all… well it’s there, but it’s not there (laughs). As such, the dance choreography was very difficult, and we spent a lot of time on it. As we practiced it over and over again I wondered if we could really perform it. And then… I can say this now, but I lost track of the sound [an in-ear-montor malfunction] about 10 seconds into the song, so I was completely lost for the first section, and it was a real source of regret. Tales is a really difficult song to perform, and I don’t know if I can perform it right now. I’m afraid to try because there’s a high possibility of failure, but at the same time, I still feel regrets and want to get my vengeance on it.

Check out Band Maid, basically a straight ahead female Rock band from Japan. A lot of live videos. "Freedom" is an outstanding performance. These ladies are great song writers and players. They're excellent musicians. Nonetheless there are so many great bands coming from Japan. Japanese are keeping Rock fresh and keeping it alive. What are they feeding those kids?

Thank you for the subtitles of course, I think I had never thanked you for those before. Yes, Babymetal has their own sound but it's pretty much always with each song they take on a new (sub)genre of metal or music and make their own interpretation of it thus in keeping with their own sound. Thus having both their own sound and doing something new every time. Their is a huge amount of talent and work involved in Babymetal. This was their interpretation of progmetal. It took 2 years to write (obviously they were working on other things too in parallel)

Night Night Burn has some Angra aspects.

Yes, Babymetal has their own sound but it's pretty much always with each song they take on a new (sub)genre of metal or music and make their own interpretation of it thus in keeping with their own sound. Thus having both their own sound and doing something new every time. Their is a huge amount of talent and work involved in Babymetal. This was their interpretation of progmetal. It took 2 years to write (obviously they were working on other things too in parallel)

Great reaction to one of BabyMetals "strangest" tracks. As I've said before, it's like somebody had loaded 10 tracks into a Cd and is pressing the random track button over and over. I suppose that's Prog Rock for you though :)
A reviewer ones said: it's like they took all the leftovers from the other tracks of the album and put it in one song. :-)
