It’s a trip to see my work under your microscope. Feels like a lifetime ago when i was drawing those pages, and yet, as you flip through ‘em and talk, i feel like I’m right back at that old drafting table, pulling all-nighters and hoping anybody will give a shit about this thing.
Just discovered this channel recently and I am now addicted! I would love to see you guys put any Invincible issue under the microscope since that run is one of my favs. Thanks again for the great content guys!
I felt the same way about Battle Pope. Local guy was coloring stuff for Kirkman pre-WD (and after), said I could maybe do some pages for the BP guys. Nah, pass....tear. I have the artist's edition of WD 1, I felt Moore was top rate even then. Also, knew a guy living with Moore when he drew WD 1, was a bad time for him. Sometimes pain can bring out greatness.
If I had to take a guess at the font everyone jumps on I'd guess CCJimLee. I remember at comic school there was a zip file that went around like wild fire of Comicraft fonts and the two main 'comic' fonts were CCJimLee and a CCAstroCity. It's the new comic sans imo.

Looking forward to the interview with the letterer of this title.
I hear he’s a pretty successful letterer

I always preferred Moore's art to Adlard's and would have like to have seen what could have been.
Same
The font used is Jack Armstrong by Blambot. Buy it and support a great font designer!

Such a readable book. I arrived late to the party, after it was all wrapped up, but man did I blast through those 193 issues.

In the first episode of the show Rick shoots the zombie on the other side of the fence.
