- The Orlando Magic are an NBA franchise with a history of some wildly thrilling highs and prolonged, wandering lows, and it seems as if they are on a climb toward achieving the highs again. Their roster is predominantly young and made up of an eclectic, unusual assortment of physically gifted players-Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner, the tandem of 6-foot-10 forwards, being chief among them. I'm a Cs fan, but when I saw Paolo on the court along with Tatum AND Brown, at times I thought Paolo is the best player on the floor. Paolo is the real deal.

Markelle Fultz is the engine that makes this all go right now. He's the key to all this that most media aren't talking about.

Yeah, as nice as it is that paolo and franz can handle the ball, I’m way more comfortable with markelle controlling the offense
Fultz been nice, but I don't think we should be saying he's the key to anything with Orlando having a losing record. I think the key for this Orlando team to reach their ceiling depends primarily on Paolo's development in the long term since I think dude is the only one on the roster with serious superstar potential. Then again, that's just my take.

What an absolute masterpiece. As a magic fan, we can sense things are trending in the right direction. This off-season will be absolutely critical with the way we utilize our draft picks and cap space but definitely we have found our core to build around with Paolo, Franz, Kelle, Suggs and WCJ
J. Kyle Mann is so talented. I truly think the Ringer would benefit from having him cover other sports. The MMA content would be a goldmine.

Some big man would have to go- just too many big bodies to be defensively versatile.
I’d love to see him go to San Antonio (or Orlando get him and send a big man there). Not a Spurs fan but they need a great big- that’s what they do!

Their core is pretty much in place..maybe a couple adjustments but it's basically in place. They just need to develop their chemistry and improve their skills and fundamentals a bit more. Injuries are definitely uncertain but if this team can stay healthy and gain more and more experience...this will be a championship team in the near future. I really hope they can make a postseason run and get to the playoffs.
Once they get a taste of the playoffs...they will have a better focus of the ultimate goal.

Franz is just playing winning Basketball. Knows his weaknesses and strengths. Plays composed and controlled both on defens and on offense. He is so efficient, allways does just what is needed to win. If he develops the same as he did in past years he for sure has real star potential. Already was the best German player on their 3. Place.
I have to say: Orlando is phenomenal at picking at 1 in the draft. Some teams have fumbled at no. 1 not the magic though

Great analysis on the current team, I'm a card collector and can't decide on who's goona be 'my guy' so I just try and get all of em! So much depth, and they're playing better as a team every game, can't wait to see what they do next! Jeff Weltman has been PIVOTAL in the rebuild, every player you talked about has been a puzzle piece he's put together, let's see what the picture turns out to be 😊

Part of me wants to see a vet come in here and take them to the Finals but I wonder who that could be? The better story would be Paolo and Franz becoming the next Tatum/Brown or Kawhi/PG and upsetting the Sixers in round 2 imo.
