It's been so fun watching the Pacers be the best Offense and the Magic being the best Defense. Can't wait for both of these teams to make that leap to make a deep playoff run!
@@REMINISC3NT116haliburton and role players won’t win in a series, magic already blew them out this season. Their defense is the worst I saw this season plus magic have the personnel to guard haliburton
Bit of a disservice not mentioning Moe Wagner leads the team in charges with almost double what the second place player (Suggs) has, but yeah, quality analysis and vid, HV! Thanks for giving the Magic some love.
My two favorite teams are finally good and are almost polar opposites. Indiana pacers and Orlando magic. It’s been fun watching both of them for the first time in years.
This channel delivers such high quality, fantastic work! I really love that every clip highlights your story, that there are barely any visual numbers or text lines (those slow down the story in breakdowns on other channels) in the video. And your pace is nice and relaxed. I also loved how you showed every individual rotation player plus how they work together.
Thank you for giving the credit to my hometown team! May not live in Orlando anymore but seeing my basketball team after almost a decade of bullshit play this well is a blessing!
Magic need to play it slow, could use more shooting but shouldn’t be looking for major upgrades. Black, Suggs, Paolo, and Franz are the core 4. There a playoff team already just imagine an off season for black and another for Suggs. This team has a top 3 young core in the league easily while being ready now. Okc in the east without the picks. When your playoff ready this young tho with all of your own picks things still look great!!
@@malthecreator_yea true but he’s a bucket and only 23, what if a team sees Cole as there pg of the future and wants to give up a substantial return? U don’t turn that down.
I agree in terms of playstyle, what I meant is that I feel Franz is the one who drives the most value towards the offense succeeding, should've worded it better.
The reason why they are doing so good because their offensive players are moving without the ball and cutting to the basket. Today's NBA are all one on one then pull up for 3s.
Paolo is the clear #1 option on offense franz is just the better shooter and he’s the guy that’s always a pass away from Paolo. Reminds me a lot of Middleton. This team is banking on Suggs and Blacks shooting development.
I agree with that, what I meant when I said was Franz is the centerpiece is that he's kind of the guy that allows everything to function properly. The offense absolutely runs through Paolo more.
Ppl were laughing at me when I said we would be in the top 3.... It's still early but our team hasn't even started to peak... The league is in trouble for the next 10 years. Go Magic.
From UK have been magic fan since Dwight days. This team is money, better than D12s team that made the finals. Their versatility and skill as a combo across the roster is ridiculous. When these guys get better, watch out NBA 👀
i love the magic .. except i cant stand jalen suggs' bald spot chillin above his head band.... its 2023 and if professor Xavier can grow hair so can NBA athletes with millions of dollars? i mean the magic are doin him dirty by allowing him to step foot on the court like this. BRUH PLEASEEEEEEEE
Not sure if this is a hot take, but as Zach Lavine's trade value continues to drop, I feel like Orlando could be the best fit for him if they can get him for relatively cheap. They really need a 3-level scorer and elite shooter to help their offense and he's young enough to fit with their core. His buy-in is the only question, but seeing how nobody wants to trade for him rn will hopefully help him accept a role fitting into Orlando's system
@TannerVarrasse He's a career 38% 3pt shooter averaging 40% on 6 attempts over the last 4 seasons. What's taking away from Paolo and Franz, especially Paolo, is the lack of spacing and perimeter creation on the team.
@MikeTheNBAGuy I agree we need spacing, but I just feel like he's not a great fit, and he wouldn't be content being just a spot up shooter like we need. in my eyes, he is used to being the #1 option and being somewhat ball dominant i dont know if that will mesh well with the type of ball coach mosley is trying to play, but maybe I'm wrong.
@TannerVarrasse I agree the main worry is buy-in, but I don't think a single great shooter fixes the Magic's offensive weaknesses either. The team really needs a 3-level scorer who can not just shoot but create his own shot, and while Lavine isn't some superstar I think he does that well enough to manage with all the other talent on this team.
I agree in terms of playstyle, what I meant is that I feel Franz is the one who drives the most value towards the offense succeeding, should've worded it better.
@@HoopVenue i hear you, but even in that mind frame i still choose Paolo, people are more scared of Paolo size athletic combo than they are of franz crafty feet and shooting

Why can't this coach be a mad scientist? I don't understand? He is the orchestrator of all of it isn't he? You should really think deeply about why you worded it that way. Is there a reason? Why not say that he is a mad scientist paving the way for defensive schemes? Why not give him that credit? Please explain to me - help me understand why he doesn't deserve that credit and acknowledgement? I'm really, genuinely curious to know why your mind took that route.
he not change the scheme much like what nurse did in final with box one in the pro league, conceding the three prioritize rim protection and switch scheme is the standard play for defensive end mad scientist is like how malone play joker as passing hub, kerr with motion offense, pop with 2014 scheme, phill with triangle and riley with oversized fastbreak because they experiment with something that no one did before
Celtics just beat that ass twice this week and the second game they got beat by 20. And yet no mvp talk about Tatum yet. What are folks looking at? Tatum plays both sides of the floor and can score against anyone in the league for 30

we started 5-20 due to all the injuries our line ups and rotations were all over the place once we got healthy we went just over .500 the rest of the season so we played well
haha we want nothing to do with poole keep that guy far far far away from my magic. dudes on one of the worst contracts on the league. I wouldn't do an even trade between wendell and kuminga either cosindering wendell is solid defensively and offensively especially because he can spread the floor with his 3pt shooting which the maguc desperately need.
