You should relax on that. All access is a bonus. Apologia church is one of the most giving churches on earth and its pastors and deacons live the life. Apologia is a church. A real body of believers who meet on the Lord's day for worship. Biblically. They are feeding sheep. TH-cam is not your church. You should be getting what you require from an actual local church. Furthermore a pastor is supposed to be paid. That's biblical. He is making it his job and so for that job he requires payment. The Bible states that. I'm not sure if it's the same movie referred to here, but I am watching Close Encounters of the 5th Kind. I am just about 20 minutes in. What always amazes me is how people are open to at least examine these views, but they dismiss the Bible outright without bothering to read it.

I listened to that SRS episode too, then watched some of his 5th kind doc, then heard a recent episode from the sci-fi Christian show (more sci-fi and pop culture, than Christian) about telekinesis which made me "write" a short blog entry about how "alien" stuff is probably just another distraction or deception from satan. I'm excited to hear your take on the subject, if that's what you're going to discuss!
I am about 1 hour into the Close Encounters of the 5th Kind movie. Right around this point, Greer relates the account of a near death experience he had when he was ill, and how that's the thing that got him on this journey. It was so sad, as he said things along the lines of that he's no longer afraid of death because he knows it will just lead to this... whatever higher consciousness, or however he words it. He called it "liberation." This poor man is deceived! Imagine his horror when he ends up in Hell. Whatever demonic entities he has been encountering will only mock him. I find that horrifying! I hope someone has shared the gospel with him. What gets me also is how open he and others who are into the UFO thing are very open to other "sacred texts" like Baháʼí and Hindu teachings, which he quotes here. If you gave him a biblical text, I'm sure he would outright reject it. This movie is depressing. These poor people are being let to an eternity of torment and horror.
Wow, at 1:18:25 of that movie he said he saw a UFO in the sky while he was meditating and then looking at the stars in the sky after it got dark. "A thought was sent into me. It wasn't my random thought or a hallucination at all." It said, "Behold, what a beautiful universe God has made." "And, with that, I went right into the state of consciousness that was in in the near death experience, except now I'm awake and standing on the mountain." And he goes on to talk about actual physical contact with some sort of energy field/energy being, as well as being transported into the ship and then into space. And that he "created a protocol for making contact with them." This is so clearly spiritual deception. It's horrifying! Somebody get the gospel to this man!
He is deceived and is also deceiving millions of people who view his content. The demonic occult doctrines have appealed to the minds of people for thousands of years. As a former atheist/agnostic I was interested in learning about occult and esoteric spirituality and back then I mocked Christianity. Only God can guide them out of this danger to the truth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Just a side note. If these beings are so advanced, why would he need to show them/direct them to where he is? If I was not a Christian and was interested in learning how to do this stuff, that would be a huge red flag for me. Why isn't it for the people who are following him? If contacting these beings is supposed to save mankind or expand our consciousness or whatever, wouldn't he be sharing this wonderful knowledge with everyone, regardless of whether they could pay him or not? Isn't that an entirely reasonable question? This movie was depressing. May God either save or stop this wicked man. May the Lord set free all of these poor souls he has deceived.
@@GR-ix2bv I've watched various UFO videos of this type, but I was not familiar with this particular man. At least, not that I can recall. From that movie, it seems he has a worldwide reach. It was very sad to see all these people thinking they are dealing with benevolent aliens when they are being deceived by demonic forces. It's interesting how he made the point several times that these beings are good, and that, "No humans have ever been harmed." I have seen other videos where people have stated they HAVE been harmed during these supposed abductions or other contacts with such beings, and even had physical evidence of such. I can't remember the specific videos. But I know I have read and seen such accounts. As with all of this, it's hard to know what to believe or not. But it seemed unbalanced how he kept insisting no one has ever been harmed. Maybe that has been the case during the events in which he has personally participated/witnessed. But how would he know every event, around the world? If there were negative experiences or other harm, I doubt anyone would have the courage to go against the crowd and so. I wouldn't put it past him to even suppress such accounts. But I know I have heard/read such accounts. They do exist and they are horrifying. Again, it breaks my heart to see people so deceived. He said he has no fear of death due to some sort of near death experience he had when he was younger and sick. (He didn't give much detail.) He's going to get a horrific shock if he does not get the gospel!
@@Yesica1993 Yes, a very horrific shock is coming to him when he is judged by God unless he repents of this and believes the gospel. His documentaries are on amazon prime which has a reach of 200 countries. I have also heard of the negative abduction stories, although the credibility of these encounters are questionable. Its funny how these negative experiences haven't made it in Greer's documentaries. We are definitely in an interesting time in history in which the "UFO" encounters are being discussed by governments and the public at large. Some say they are benevolent, some say they are a threat to humanity, and some are even saying that the US government is planning to fake a UFO event for various reason. Who really knows what is going? I just put my trust in the LORD!!!
I think Brandon Robertson is just an example of what modern technologically enabled tehologians end up as. Because they can search the scriptues via app and program instead of having to know them in order to speak on them. They then have the platform that would have required academic prowess before via the church or lecturehall at their finger tips via social media. A pulpit waiting for them to preach at instead of one reserve for those who were qualified to preach at it by the church.

I think the whole "scholar" stuff comes from the Catholic church. None of the apostles or disciples (except Paul) were particularly scholarly and learned from Jesus. I think having a degree just gives you the ability to boast when in reality authority comes from Christ and knowledge comes from the Holy Spirit

We have a lot of people taking medication in this country. Can you expound more on how Dt 18 forbids the taking of substances? I have read it and I see no reference to “the taking of substances” in this passage. (The only reference to taking “substances” in a spiritual context that I could see was to the Levites who took grain, new wine, oil, and parts of an ox-sacrifice; but these were positively enjoined, not forbidden.) Is there something in the translation of words that denotes substances being forbidden? 27:00
I'm watching one of his movies. Not sure if it's the one referred to here. It's depressing to see people so deceived. But it's important that we know what they believe because this stuff is everywhere and getting more and more accepted. It's important to know how to talk to people about their beliefs. I know this is off topic, but I watched a video that had a clip from James White talking about the unpardonable sin and in one of his sermons on Hebrews he mentions that the sin was calling good evil. He said it is unpardonable because it demonstrates a person who has shut thier eyes to light and loves the darkness. So does that mean it is a state of mind and heart of a person like Doug wilson says or is it just anything you say bad against the Holy Spirit if you later ask Jesus for forgiveness? I struggle to understand certain passages of scripture and could use some help as to why it is unpardonable. Is it because they never repent and come to Jesus for forgiveness? Thanks

Steve Lawson says its defiantly rejecting the testimony of the Spirit. The miracles were a divine validation that Christ was who He claimed to be and without the convicting ministry of the Spirit you would never repent. So I guess those are all the same thing?

Here's what I see in Brandan Robertson. This is someone who once believed that the urges he as was wrong, which is what pushed him to the arms of Jesus, or at least pushed him towards Jesus. However, because he could not shake his desires, and because he could not resist them, he went on this journey to seek truth on his own terms. His search through Scripture was fueled with the goal of finding something that would justify his position. Then, he met and listened to some apostate so-called preachers who "affirmed" his position, and allowed himself to fall into the false belief that what he was doing was right with God. He was basically so unwilling to hear the word no, when it comes to his desires, that all he could hear, even now, is yes, despite the fact it violates Scripture. Therefore, he was either never a believer, or he traded his walk with God for a dance with Satan. With all that said, it is my perspective, and experience, that If you refuse, reject, or hate the truth, God will help you believe the lie (2 Thes. 2:11), and that is not a position one wants to be in. Apologia, if I am wrong, please, by all means, point it out. However, if I am understanding things correctly, please confirm that for me, if you don't mind.

This “Oneism-Twoism” thing is so telling. The amount of time the “Twoists” like those on this channel spend speaking out against sins of violence, property damage, exclusion, etc is minuscule compared to the amount of time that they spend speaking out against improper connection sins, like sexual immorality, inappropriate spiritual dealings or occult connection (which is the majority of their time).
People who avow themselves as Twoists tend to only give lip-service to the idea that sins of disconnection (violence) and duality (exclusion) are wrong. But their heart is to pursue and defeat sins of improper oneness (sexually, and spiritually, most likely) and that’s where they’ll spend most of their energy.

The fact that he ended the movie with an ad to SELL HIS APP, would have been a turn off even if I was not a Christian and wanted to participate in this stuff! I'm starting to feel less sorry for him and more like he's a charlatan. (Though I don't doubt that these experiences are demonic.) If I was not a Christian and was interested in learning how to do this stuff, that would be a huge red flag for me. Why isn't it for the people who are following him? If contacting these beings is supposed to save mankind or expand our consciousness or whatever, wouldn't he be sharing this wonderful knowledge with everyone, regardless of whether they could pay him or not? Isn't that an entirely reasonable question?

@@GR-ix2bv I've watched various UFO videos of this type, but I was not familiar with this particular man. At least, not that I can recall. From that movie, it seems he has a worldwide reach. It was very sad to see all these people thinking they are dealing with benevolent aliens when they are being deceived by demonic forces. It's interesting how he made the point several times that these beings are good, and that, "No humans have ever been harmed." I have seen other videos where people have stated they HAVE been harmed during these supposed abductions or other contacts with such beings, and even had physical evidence of such. I can't remember the specific videos. But I know I have read and seen such accounts. As with all of this, it's hard to know what to believe or not. But it seemed unbalanced how he kept insisting no one has ever been harmed. Maybe that has been the case during the events in which he has personally participated/witnessed. But how would he know every event, around the world? If there were negative experiences or other harm, I doubt anyone would have the courage to go against the crowd and so. I wouldn't put it past him to even suppress such accounts. But I know I have heard/read such accounts. They do exist and they are horrifying. Again, it breaks my heart to see people so deceived. He said he has no fear of death due to some sort of near death experience he had when he was younger and sick. (He didn't give much detail.) He's going to get a horrific shock if he does not get the gospel!
@@Yesica1993 Yes, a very horrific shock is coming to him when he is judged by God unless he repents of this and believes the gospel. His documentaries are on amazon prime which has a reach of 200 countries. I have also heard of the negative abduction stories, although the credibility of these encounters are questionable. Its funny how these negative experiences haven't made it in Greer's documentaries. We are definitely in an interesting time in history in which the "UFO" encounters are being discussed by governments and the public at large. Some say they are benevolent, some say they are a threat to humanity, and some are even saying that the US government is planning to fake a UFO event for various reason. Who really knows what is going? I just put my trust in the LORD!!!
I think Brandon Robertson is just an example of what modern technologically enabled tehologians end up as. Because they can search the scriptues via app and program instead of having to know them in order to speak on them. They then have the platform that would have required academic prowess before via the church or lecturehall at their finger tips via social media. A pulpit waiting for them to preach at instead of one reserve for those who were qualified to preach at it by the church.

I think the whole "scholar" stuff comes from the Catholic church. None of the apostles or disciples (except Paul) were particularly scholarly and learned from Jesus. We have a lot of people taking medication in this country. Can you expound more on how Dt 18 forbids the taking of substances? I have read it and I see no reference to “the taking of substances” in this passage. (The only reference to taking “substances” in a spiritual context that I could see was to the Levites who took grain, new wine, oil, and parts of an ox-sacrifice; but these were positively enjoined, not forbidden.) I know this is off topic, but I watched a video that had a clip from James White talking about the unpardonable sin and in one of his sermons on Hebrews he mentions that the sin was calling good evil. He said it is unpardonable because it demonstrates a person who has shut thier eyes to light and loves the darkness. So does that mean it is a state of mind and heart of a person like Doug wilson says or is it just anything you say bad against the Holy Spirit if you later ask Jesus for forgiveness? I struggle to understand certain passages of scripture and could use some help as to why it is unpardonable. Is it because they never repent and come to Jesus for forgiveness? Thanks

Steve Lawson says its defiantly rejecting the testimony of the Spirit. The miracles were a divine validation that Christ was who He claimed to be and without the convicting ministry of the Spirit you would never repent. So I guess those are all the same thing?

Here's what I see in Brandan Robertson. This is someone who once believed that the urges he as was wrong, which is what pushed him to the arms of Jesus, or at least pushed him towards Jesus. However, because he could not shake his desires, and because he could not resist them, he went on this journey to seek truth on his own terms. His search through Scripture was fueled with the goal of finding something that would justify his position. Then, he met and listened to some apostate so-called preachers who "affirmed" his position, and allowed himself to fall into the false belief that what he was doing was right with God. He was basically so unwilling to hear the word no, when it comes to his desires, that all he could hear, even now, is yes, despite the fact it violates Scripture. Therefore, he was either never a believer, or he traded his walk with God for a dance with Satan. With all that said, it is my perspective, and experience, that If you refuse, reject, or hate the truth, God will help you believe the lie (2 Thes. 2:11), and that is not a position one wants to be in. Apologia, if I am wrong, please, by all means, point it out. However, if I am understanding things correctly, please confirm that for me, if you don't mind.

The amount of time the “Twoists” like those on this channel spend speaking out against sins of violence, property damage, exclusion, etc is minuscule compared to the amount of time that they spend speaking out against improper connection sins, like sexual immorality, inappropriate spiritual dealings or occult connection (which is the majority of their time).
People who avow themselves as Twoists tend to only give lip-service to the idea that sins of disconnection (violence) and duality (exclusion) are wrong. If the culture was fighting for stabbing people you don't agree with there would be a stand. They are dealing with the problem at hand.
