      Omg I’m terrified now because I have just about all the symptoms you’ve named. I’ve had bowel issues since I can remember when I say issues I mean I barely went to the bathroom for number 2 all my years I’m 44 years old. I’ve been anemic all my years but I have sickle cell anemia. Lately I’ve been tired low energy a lot and very recently I’ve noticed I can go two days before making myself eat just because I know I need to eat but haven’t been having my normal appetite. And a few days ago I felt a very uncomfortable pain in my lower stomach/ side. I’m absolutely terrified right now please 🙏 Jesus do NOT let anything serious be happening with me🙏 omg Labor Day is Monday but I can’t wait til Tuesday so I can call and make a appointment somewhere 😢😳🙏 thank you so much for sharing your story I’m gonna be on pins and needles all weekend but I’m glad I saw this video.

      Through your search for answers, try not to worry! Only worry, when you have to. At this point you don’t have enough information. I know it’s not easy, but worrying will not bring you peace. Always face what’s in front of you, even the fear. Deal with the fear and do what you have to do anyway, regardless of the fear, no matter what it is. You will get through it.

    My brother is in hospice at home from stage4 colon cancer. My father died from colon cancer. I am afraid but I monitor my bowel movements like my life depends on it. I’m so sorry to hear about your brother😢 My God I’m praying for your strength and mental health🙏🏾 I’m also sorry to hear about your dad, I lost my dad as well, heart attack, so I know the whole it leaves😞 I’m proud of you for being on top of your movements, if you can, please try to lessen the amount of processed foods you eat, try to incorporate more fruits and vegetables. I like to juice, I can get way more veggies in that way. Speak life over yourself, I have to be told this a lot, you’re doing exactly what you’re supposed to be doing, trusting in God. I pray you have a long healthy life as well. God bless you and your family 🙏🏾❤❤❤

    My daughter is 21 and has had bad constipation since childhood. Not going for even a week. She eats very healthy and tries all the meds they give plus natural remedies. I finally put my foot down and told her we’re going to get to the root of the problem. Because she’s young she has to show a very good reason why she needs a colonoscopy. So I had her start going to our primary doctor and building up a record of treatment. She was finally sent to a specialist. All the treatments they gave her to try hadn’t helped so their next step is to go ahead with the colonoscopy. I say all that to say don’t think you’re too young to get checked. Put your foot down with the doctors so they won’t brush it off. From pediatrician to doctors when she became older kept saying it’s normal and not everyone goes the same amount. We’re not scared or speaking anything over her, but there has to be a reason for it and we’re not going to delay in correcting it. Thanks for sharing your story.

      Your daughter is extremely lucky to have you! She will be ok because she has you in her corner. That was me as a kid. I wasn’t taken to the doc about it because one I had other things going on, and 2 my family is from down south, my grandma had every remedy in the book. So it was just something I learned to live with but they kept in eye on it. Thank you for being so diligent and not letting these doctors just tell you anything. Super proud of you Mom and your daughter will thank you for being on top of things when she can’t and doesn’t know which way to go❤❤

    After telling my doctor about a passing of black stools, test revealed that I had blood in my stool. This was in March of this year 2024, and my doctors couldn't get me scheduled for a colonoscopy until September 2024. Today is August 26 and I have been worrying about the possibility of having colon cancer and having to wait so long for a diagnosis. I've only had one other incident of dark stools since March but it may have been from a large salad I ate earlier that day. I feel ok but I pray that no cancer is found when I get my colonoscopy, and I'm very anxious to get it. Please keep me in your prayers. Thanks for sharing this video, I'm so glad I found it. @Aja_Walker I also thought it was normal not to have a BM daily until I married my first husband. I was so surprised that he had 1 every day. I had my first colonoscopy last year at 62 yrs old, which came back negative. I have mentioned to my doctors in the past about my BM schedule and they also told me "it's possible 'my' normal ". I have asthma, I see an endocrinologist constantly checking my thyroid, I have times where I am EXAUASTED for no reason, also I have experienced the feeling of knowing my bowels are not empty.

    I agree with what you're saying. My mum left it too late. I lost her a month ago. I noticed the weight loss and pushed her into hospital but it was too late. The symptoms she told me about on the way to the hospital, my heart sunk. I knew we were in the shit. She hid it for months and im devastated. Two and a bit months and she is gone. I'm broken! I want to get checked. I have a 5-year-old. It's a nasty disease that takes you quickly. The last few weeks were torture. I will never forget what we went through. I would never wish this on anyone. Moving our biles properly is one of thee most important things we can do for our bodies. No one wants to talk about it, but it’s so important. I too had Colon Cancer, 2019…. The only symptom I had was Anemia. I was constantly exhausted and by bathroom habits were fine 🤷🏽‍♀️ No pain anywhere. Hi your video pop up in my feed and a lot of your symptoms are similar to my 6 year old son. We have been talking hi. To the hospital for the blood in his stool and constipation. He often has low energy and complain of abominable pain. But the doctor insisted he should be on restoralax for 6 months and a follow up. They said they do not want to do invasive assessment on him as he is so young. The doctors in another hospital did not assess his rectum but determined he could have a fistula internally and the constipation is probably causing the swing to continuously break therefore they ordered restoralax.
      Your video have me a bit scared. I need to have a plan with my husband and see our next steps with pushing for proper assessments.
      They the doctors also missed in the pass he had pneumonia and they missed it the first time and give him puffers c 31:25 ause they refused to do am pray on him until we pushed for it. We found out our son had pneumonia , he was 5 years then. I pray God to take the wheel and guide our every step and protect up all.

Remember God also allowed me to get it for another reason so just because our bowels don’t work “normally” doesn’t mean you’re going to get it. So now that you are aware, just start making the necessary changes, eating more greens and foods that push food thru your colon, making sure you’re hydrated etc. You will be just fine❤

      This means if you eat the SAD diet. Change to a plant base diet. I’m the same like her. I don’t go to the bathroom lately unless I take a laxative lots of it too. Recently I went on a fruit and vegetable and water only diet and it is now like night and day. The old stuff took couple of days to come out but it eventually did. Now my stool is soft. I also incorporate herbs in my diet. I feel sooooo much better. Constipation cause my high blood pressure, pain and discolouration in my eyes, throbbing in my stomach, sweet taste in my mouth, it means I couldn’t digest my food in a timely manner. So Knew where this is going. I’ll be eating raw for the next 6 mths cause I feel so good now.

    Thanks for your sharing and testimony. It's time for me to go next year for my colonoscopy . O was diagnosed back in 2005, and I NEVER want to hear those words again. I feel like I should go sooner at times because of what I'm feeling, but I'm going to keep the faith that I am still good almost 20 years later. Glory to God. Sis, you got this, and I will say a prayer for you and me. My Big Moma passed with Colon cancer, and we are the only 2 who had it. I told my kids to get checked. The doctor said they should be checking at age 40 and maybe because I was in my 40s. God bless us all!

    I am new to your channel and appreciate this important information you are giving. I lost a good friend a year ago to colon cancer. She worked in another state through the week and flew back home on weekends. She would get Cologuard, the at home test so she wouldn’t have to take time off from work. Needless to say Cologuard did not catch it and when she found out because of no appetite it was stage 4. Now I tell everyone to get colonoscopies not the at home testing. It can save your life!🙏🏽

      @@Aja_Walkerso our liver does detox the body but because the world we live in is sooooo toxic, we have to make changes to help basically. When I say our world is toxic I mean that it’s in our water, it’s in our food, our personal care products, the pots n pans you cook with, simple things like eating out of plastic and using the microwave and even the type of clothes you wear (polyester and synthetic fibers are toxic). So if you are constantly bombarded with these toxins everyday ofc your liver can only take so much and no more. That’s why it’s important to educate ourselves and do what we can to limit our toxin exposure in this toxic world. Btw, I’m so sorry you had to go through this 😢. @@Aja_Walker You are SUPPOSED to have gas. The vegetables are breaking down the bad bacteria in your gut. Gas means it's working. People start to have die-off symptoms and they quit. That's the problem. You will feel MUCH worse before you get better. For the person who said eat COOKED vegetables, No. Eat as many vegetables as you can raw. Eat them raw. That's where the nutrients that destroy cancer are. Your problem is definately diet. Look up Chrisbeatcancer and look at his old videos and go to his website. He tells everyone EXACTLY what he ate and completely GOT RID of his cancer. Put that SAME energy into going to his website and learning EXACTLY what he did, because he did it ALL through DIET. Yes, DIET. You don't have to be a victim. Your cancer developed over years because you were constipated. You should have been having a BM EVERYDAY. That caused the problems. Also, the processed foods, chemicals, etc.... There are soooooooo many people who have beat their cancer by eating RAW vegetables and using high vitamin C, and yes, the videos are right here. Also look up Brooke Goldner. She did the SAME THING with Lupus. She got completely rid of it the SAME way. DIET DIET DIET. Nooooo processed foods and nooooo sugar at all. OMG, I thought I was alone in those same symptoms all my life that I can remember. I get colonoscopies every 5 years because my paternal grandfather passed from colon cancer before I was born and my irregular or not irregular bowls. My last gastroenterologist who performed my procedure stated that not having bowel movements every day is no longer considered abnormal and that recent studies shows that everyone system works differently. Although it felt reassuring that she was stating this being the professional I was still uneasy with that because where is that bowel sitting and what are those toxins doing inside my body sitting dormant until it feels like coming out?! I am so confused at this point. I mentioned it to my primary physician, and she stated, well she is the professional in that area so she would know. Long story short, when I do make a bowel, it doesn't complete and when I go to wipe myself later after just urinating remnants of that sitting bowel is leaking because of my body heat and not fully finishing. I KNOW that's not normal, and it makes me feel yucky and like my buttock area is never fully clean until I use a flushable wet wipe or shower. Also to note, every colonoscopy that I have had they would find two benign polyps and send me off until the next 5 years. I considered myself safe at this point because I have been going to procedures and asking questions and getting " I'm fine and normal" responses but after hearing Aja testimony I am starting to feel anxious in a bad way again. Also, now that I am much older with the same issues, I am starting to get the "talking stomach" growling out loud a lot and was wondering if that is a sign of something. I asked my primary about that, and she stated that I need to take probiotics, so I have started that. I am just going to remain deligent and keep getting my colon testing but every 5 years is far and few for me after seeing and hearing these testimonies.

I pray you will know and feel the peace of God and be enveloped by His presence always, in Jesus name. Amen. I usually don't tell my business in this space, but because you are helping so many by sharing yours, I feel like this video came up today for a reason, therefore, I will do the same and talk about my issue. I unfortunately had a colonospphy for the first time and I was not clean, so they saw something and we all panicked, but God told me it was nothing, so felt ok to forward to have surgery. What I should have done, or the should have suggested, was to repeat the colonospohy when I was clean. Instead we moved to remove what was seen. Which the doctor said was nothing! I felt relieved. However, since the surgery, I have had all of the symptoms you have described, expect weight loss, but have I have had a lost in appeitite. I had a 2nd colonsophy years later, due to a buldge, I encountered from the first. This doctor said he removed 2 polyps and the colonspohy was difficult. He said the bulge is due to fat. I am not an extremely heavy person. I went to the emergency room due to pain in side, they did MRI and CT scan and said I have poop in colon and now a fatty liver. I am so confused and don't what doctor to go to. It is expensive to see doctors today, with basic insurance. What do you think is the best doctor to go to with these matters? I am extremely confused and annoyed.

    • @Aja_Walker
      @Aja_Walker  19 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Hello, thank you for your kind words. Im not an expert in this nor am I a doctor but I can just say what I would want. This will all depend on your insurance and how they allow you to see/schedule doctors. What doctor have you been seeing? Is it your primary? I would ask your primary who the best doctor to see would be, because I have an oncologist, but I also had cancer. You can ask to see a specialist or at the very least a different doctor to perform your colonoscopy. I will say tho you have to do your part. You have to take your prep to the point where you have the runs and it comes out clear, they can’t properly give you a colonoscopy if you aren’t clean, because it sounds like they are guessing because they can do a clean test. I also get CT Scans in addition to my colonoscopies so that is a good thing. Pray and ask God which direction to go, he won’t steer you wrong, but I’m sure you know this already. I pray everything works out for you and your colonoscopy comes back clean and clear. I pray for clarity for you and peace of mind🙏🏾❤️

    I was also diagnosed at stage 2. It had not spread to my lymph nodes. My Dr. told me my cancer most likely had gone from a pollop to cancer over at least 2 years. Colon and prostate are the 2 slowest growing cancers. This Monday & Tuesday will be my last rounds of chemo. I feel so lost too. I have been in the house since May. I hate not working 😢 My nagging symptons were terrible gas and bloating that would come and go over 6 months. That was not normal for me and my Dr always listens to me. My oncologists wants me to do radiation but I am in prayer about this. Because of where my cancer is, I know I will end up with an ostomy. I dont see why I should have radiation and they are removing that whole area. I thank you so much for your honesty and openess. ❤

      My God, I’m praying for your complete healing🙏🏾 I’m so sorry you’re going thru this. I also had to get radiation but I got that first, along with taking the chemo pill. Then I moved on to chemo. I hope God gives you the right answer on which way to go. But if I can kindly give my 2 cent, even if they remove the entire area, they still do radiation to kill anything that may be lingering, something microscopic, or happened to move to another area, sometimes you can’t see everything, so just something to think about. I’m so happy you’re about to be finished with chemo, that’s such a blessing. I pray I was able to give you some hope that everything can be ok after cancer ❤❤ You did it!🎉🎊

He can go a week or more and not use the bathroom and he drinks a gallon of water a day, and eats fiber and exercises too. He has blood in his stool too. They just did his colonoscopy. He seems to be good to go, but something is still not quite right. We will keep looking tho..im not about to let this go after loosing my grandparents. Thank you so much for sharing your journey❤

      I’m not a doctor but I can share what testing I get done. Ask them if they can do a CT Scan of his abdomen with and without contrast, that doesn’t sound right at all, just to make sure. If I’m not mistaken a colonoscopy is the lower intestines so a CT Scan and show a little more. If he is eating everyday where is the waste going? It’s so confusing that they aren’t more on top of figuring out what is happening. But that’s ok thank God he has you. Praying for your strength and mental health and your family 🙏🏾❤️

      @@Aja_Walker Hi Aja, a colonoscopy is of your large intestine, but I have had test of my lower intestine as well which is different because you are on local anesthesia and fully awake while they are performing the procedure, and they insert blue dye into your rectum to show for any blockage with a camera. The lower intestine is so much longer and is different for every person on how it is twisted and positioned in your body that the way they do colonoscopies cannot be performed, I was told. I also have irregular (or not) irregular bowels because at this point, I am confused by my doctors. I gave my small testimony of my issues in someone's reply below, but I think I am going repost it as a reply to your video as well because maybe sharing I can get some ideas for handling my issues with bowels.

    HI Aja, let me first say thank you for your courage on sharing your story because it will and has helped of a lot of us❤. I thought I was alone in those same symptoms all my life that I can remember. I am just going to remain diligent and keep getting my colon testing but every 5 years is far and few for me after seeing and hearing these testimonies.

    • @Aja_Walker
      @Aja_Walker  18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That’s all you can do is stay diligent. All you can do is eat the best you can, take miralax or whatever laxative you are comfortable with on the days you feel like you need a good cleaning out, pray and ask God for the answer. He will tell us. He guided me. I’m not special. Thank God the polyps were benign. Get your bloodwork done regularly. That’s really all you can do. I pray for your complete healing and for God to give you comfort 🙏🏾❤️❤️

    *17:00** ~ I feel that part of your journey is to educate people about this disease, particularly African Americans, who have the highest rate of mortality among the different ethnicities (according to the National Institutes of Health's NCBI). Though the generally recommended age for a first colonoscopy was moved to 45 years of age, the American College of Physicians recommends that African Americans start their screening at age 40.* Consider what this information about earlier check-ups might have meant to people like "Black Panther" actor Chadwick Boseman (who died at age 43) and "B.A.P" actress Natalie Desselle-Reid (who died at age 53), who both battled colon cancer.

All the money and access they had. Honestly I had my colon cancer way before 40, I don’t understand the age thing, especially nowadays the way food is and the way we eat as African Americans. I’ve heard of people in their 20s with colon cancer. I do feel like maybe this is my path, I don’t know if I’m mentally prepared to handle it tho. It’s something I have to sit with❤

      I know! It’s not the most demure lol thing to speak about but it’s important, very important. That’s how it started, me noticing something in my stool. I don’t even mind anymore

    We use to get a wash out every spring. My Dad is Jamaican and he always believed in washing out the stomach and butt. Greens use chlorella and spiraling. Take Probiotics 😢😢😢😢good luck.

      Thank you, I didn’t have anyone to help me because no one went through this but around me. So I had to learn all these things and work through them. I know I’m not the only person who doesn’t have this information so if I can make it easier on someone I’m happy.❤

    Good morning well it’s morning time where I am and I just so happen to run across your video. It popped up on my feed, but I’m glad that it did. Your video was very well informative to me. What made me stay on the video to watch it all the way to the end was the fact that you and I look similar meaning our complexion and facial features I like the way you spoke very calming. I loved your choice of wording you explained everything it’s like you are a visual Person like myself you broke everything down step-by-step where that everyone could comprehend it. I also like the way you did a get ready with me/make up tutorial. Thank you for all your information and I will stay on top of everything that you said. You now have a NEW SUBSCRIBER!!! PLEASE KEEP UP ALL OF UR CONTENT I REALLY ENJOY IT. Peace & Blessings on ur Health Journey.
