That’s correct! that Jaguar was a great example of a bulletproof engine and durable transmission. Thats how I felt in love with the XJ40 and wanted another one BUT it just wouldn’t pass smog and it wasn’t the prettiest.
On my XJ40 the “Low Brake Pressure“ light comes on intermittently-the brakes feel fine but I am concerned the power booster is going out slowly ? Thanks again for the video
That's more than likely the accumulator sphere that has gone bad. The low pressure comes on until the electric pump has pressurized the system at the correct pressure, then the light goes off.
