The more I think about Elder Centipede, the less impressive he feels to me personally. Elder Centipede is really durable... that's it. That's the only high tier thing about him, and the only attribute that make him high tier. He's basically a larger Melzargard without the marble weakness. Seems very powerful, until you realize his survivability is his sole saving grace. Remember, Metal Bat, a guy who was getting smacked by Hero Hunter Garou, survived an encounter with him. Pre-Monster Association Genos, someone else Human Garou could fight against, lasted for an extended period against Centichoro, and visibly affected him. Metal Bat and Genos both lost, but they landed hits, and survived attacks. And considering these are Hero Hunter tiers... yeah.
I did just think of though in regards to Goketsu, if I’m not mistaken, Gyro Gyro stated ALL of the monster executives are meant to be above the S class, which there not, and the Elder Centipede statement are made later on, so Gyro might have only realized how strong the actually were AFTER Goketsu taken out.
I’ve always thought Rover was above Elder Centipede due to narrative, because Garou fought Rover before Orochi, and same with Saitama, and Orochi almost treating Rover as being there for lack of a better term “right hand man”, which has lead me to always think Rover number 2, while EC number 3.
I think gums looked weak because he was around those super strong characters, his strength comes from regenration, being able to take furher ugly's strongest shot and genos blasting through him and be ok the next panel.
personally where would you put pre redraw phoenix man/orochi on the list ? phoenix man is arguably above platinium and orochi is above both still, he also has his reaction speed feat against saitama which fixes his biggest weakness which is lack of speed feats
@@michadrzymaa2206 I can't really see Brilliant Eagle being above Platinum personally. What's Your reason for putting him so high if I may ask? As for Orochi, he doesn't have the Gaia canon, which is by far the most impressive showing Orochi has in terms of power, but his speed is cracked and he did stop a charge from Saitama, so I'd definitely place him at least in the same rank as post redraw Orochi.
@@SatorisYT soo the meta goes like this monster galewind and hellfire flame couldn't do any damage to the brave giant with their punches. same punches that made flashy flash bleed, brave giant was able to knock out both of them with a single Gigavolt Smash. phoenix man later on prooceds to rip the brave giant into shreds with absolutely not difficulty and perception blitz child emperor even tho he did notice the ninja duo. which means speed wise he does scale to or even above them. i'm not sure if he is that strong. but he is easily in the 5 ianyway imo

The most evil fictional character i can think of is The Litch from adventure time bro lives to kill and nothing more , he does it because he enjoys it and feels like it's his purpose to and to get his God's attention. I do think it is cheating to use a pure evil character Like the Litch because thinking about it Morally he's just as bad Kid Buu and like Doomsday
Why does everyone low ball golden S he’s at platinum S level just focused in a different area also stop dunking on the poor centipede the only reason metal bat did anything was because Garou was mega buffing him sage is NO joke.
@@I_like_arguing actually he is they both have similar cell counts in fact golden S had more before losing his arm which is why he didn’t think he could beat king as he was along with him assuming raw strength was kings specially the different between gold and platinum S is gold focus on strength and defense while platinum focuses on speed and precision.
