    I’ve had the MLM2 since it came out, the first 3 months were hell with the disconnect issues and shot distances not being accurate. BUT, with the latest updates I’ve had a very smooth experience both with both the built-in practice options & syncing up to E6 for a proper simulator experience. I can plop it down and be within the settings I want within a couple minutes. Definitely a great winter practice tool & was budget friendly for my garage sim build

    FYI - you can buy ball dots to use with any golf ball and using an iPad will give you more data about your shot than your phone.

    This unit is awesome. A scratch golfer surely would want something better but 99% of people buying this cannot hit a ball straight so having this will 100% improve their game even if it showed no metrics! I think it is well worth the money and can be a ton of fun with friends.

    I just purchased this last week. I’ve had a couple practice sessions and simulated a round. It’s been easy to use, seems to be accurate, let’s me see the flight I’d the ball in the South Dakota winter. For 700 bucks I don’t think it can be beat.

      With the newly upgraded app and graphics, it really is unbeatable at this price range

    one of the best vids on this. well done. couple questions tho-do you need wifi to connect this to a pc or ipad or can you use it just having it bluetooth? (i don’t get wifi or cell service in my garage). also, you mentioned club path-does this have club path or face angle? i’ve seen some other videos that have the metric listed on the screen but didn’t have numbers after shots. thanks!

    Agree with the points that @Nezzybit mentioned - as updates have come out the unit has improved. For beginner golfers like me, this is a great consumer-grade launch monitor; with emphasis on “consumer-grade”. For those that want to use their own golf balls (Pro V1, Vice etc) with the MLM2Pro, there’s someone that makes “ball dots” that you can apply that mimic the ball dots on the Rapsodo Callaway golf balls. Now, I do wish it had the Angle of Attack metric. Hopefully that will come out in another firmware update.

      I was talking to a guy about those devices that make the dots with a magic marker. He said don't do it because the markers will leave marks on your indoor screen.

      @@glennwatson3313 Check out Joe Lagowski Golf channel. If I'm not mistaken, he may have links in some of his videos as to where you can get the 'stick-on' dots. He uses them on his Pro V1's. as that's his ball of choice. In one of his videos he did say that if he T's the ball in a certain position, the stick on dots do last a bit longer before needing to be changed.

    My question(s) are how does it compare to Mevo + with the pro package? I love my Mevo + and the pro package is outstanding. It does carry a hefty price and there are at times connection issues for me anyway. At $700 it seems like it's hard to argue with.

    • @andrewjensengolf
      @andrewjensengolf  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’ll make that video! The mevo+ is phenomenal and what you’re paying for benefits a certain player/coach/fitter unlike this unit would

    I’m thinking about purchasing for my garage setup. How far from ball to device, and ball to net is recommended for the most accurate data?

    • @andrewjensengolf
      @andrewjensengolf  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You only need 6 feet behind the ball and at least 7-8 in flight. Very doable in any garage

    Have you tried the mevo or the SC4 I am stuck between the three and not really sure which one. I will mainly be using it outdoors

      I’ve been using the Mevo+ since it’s launch, and I love it. I’m making a video comparing it with the MLM2PRO… dropping next week 👊🏼

    You can see all the data if you press and hold on a individual shot when viewing the previous session and if you are in the rapsodo range you can slide out all the data while hitting

      @@andrewjensengolf but yeah could be way better and you can use your selfie cam on your phone for a face on angle but I emailed them to recommend letting us be able to access the slow mo for the front camera and let us access the back camera but the front camera in slow mo would be best I think so you can see it right after the shot.

    I thought membership was $200 a year after the first one you get for free?

  • @boredymcboredface8624
    @boredymcboredface8624 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Nah … it’s not $699. It’s $699+200+200+200+200+…. It’ll cost you more in the long run and resell for a lot less. Companies that charge 30% of the unit buy price year on year shouldn’t be rewarded with favourable “cheap for what you get” price it out over 5-6 year + resell loss and it isn’t that great compared to others

    The yearly subscription is a no no for me. In fact I will move from the R10 to the Mevo plus pro, to sidestep a yearly subscription. Rapsodo got that part wrong. I should imagine thousands more people have opted for the R10 for the same reason. The camera based launch monitors are way way overpriced, it's a plastic box, basic software and cameras you'd find in a mid range android phone. $1000's plus a yearly subscription? "Hey it's golfers let's rip them off!".

  • @dennisdunn9315
