Hey Andrew, great review. One thing I would like to add is the Mevo+ gets the best readings with Titleist RCT balls and selecting the RCT ball function in app.
Have both, I have ZERO ISSUE with connecting the MEVO+ PRO. E6 is pretty simple, PC to router hard wire, MEVO Wi-Fi to PC...Tada. As far as features, and accuracy it ain't even close, not even close. MEVO kicks the MLM2P ass. Bottomline, buy the MEVO plus and 1 dozen RCT balls.
I have the Mevo+ with the pro package. The connection issues are real. I figured out to connect the same way you were talking about it as well. I bought mine second hand off Ebay at a really good discount. So I don't have nearly $4k in mine. Flightscope had no issues with helping me setup the pro package either.
Good info! I think it’s worth considering the sales price for Mevo+ since there are always deals. Think price can be closer to $3000 all in with pro package and face impact. Also not sure if I missed it, but believe there is a subscription with the MLM. That is worth considering long term. After 5 years pretty equivalent cost with base version of Mevo+ around $1900 right now.
Absoutley right! Always promo codes and deals around for Mevo plus(I actually have one haha) And yes, over time, the $200 annual subscription adds up… but I think anyone can rest easy that the subscription will ensure constant evolution and growth in what the MLM2PRO can and will eventually do
I am considering either the mlm2 or the mevo since I will be tucking money aside for the mevo+ or the BLP. Also will mostly be used outside any thoughts would help
Have seen varying comments on space needed for Mevo + and that Manufacturer recommendations underestimates. What was your distance from unit to ball and ball to screen? Any issues? Thanks!
James, I had the mevo+ for 3 years and can verify that a minimum of 10' is needed. It needs to be enough for two (2) ball rotations, which statistically requires the 10' for indoor use. The longer, the better. I always like to point out that the 17'-18' total offsets for the Mevo+ is right in line with most rooms typically built indoors; therefore, the technology was pushing the envelope with this product (as the case for all radar monitors used indoors). I ended up moving on from the mevo because of interferences with my heater causing ghost putts, but that was my only option since my heater was a fixed mini-split. Overall, it is a good unit aside from the short comings with short game. As far as side spin, I see similar numbers to my GC3.
Do you think the MLM2 Pro is adequate for someone that is a mid handicapper and wanting this to improve? That's my goal is game improvement, swing improvement. Is the MLM2 Pro adequate for that?
I am so unsure which to get. I’m off 0 so need something accurate enough. I would only use it outdoors during summer on grass as I don’t have an indoor sim. Garmin r10 with awesome golf Rapsodo Mevo plus Thoughts? Thanks
I’m in the same exact boat as you. I’m leaning towards buying a used Mevo Plus Pro Package or the Garmin with Awesome Golf. Did you get one yet? Mine will be used outside in the backyard as well
@@christopherd7922 not got one yet. I’m thinking Garmin r10 with awesome golf/E3 or the g80 as it’s also a gps, just need the carry enough, the swing caddie sc4 looks good also.
I would stick to Carry distance as the roll is extrapolated... Mevo+ has three fairway firmness levels I believe. I'm loving my mevo+ (w/ Pro Package + Impact) ven after 4 years.. No subscriptions and great software to work on your swing. I use RCT balls to avoid the metalic dot which is not super precise and annoying.
Other reviews are giving the mlm2pro comparable numbers to the gcquad so my money is with the best bang for the buck. You don't have to buy the nercedes when your hyundai is just as nice with similar features
Totally agree! The “total” numbers really need refining with Rapsodo, every shot has a LOT of release… but it’s really such a great piece of kit for that price!
Price compare is a little off. You can get Mevo+ for $1800 with no subscription and the add-ons are one time purchases and not everyone will need or want club data. MLM2Pro is $699 plus $200 per year and it’s pretty much mandatory to function and to have access to view anything online
I’ve had everything wallet friendly under $3k.. no skytrak, no bushnell, no uneekor. Mevo + hands down is the best in terms of accuracy and I haven’t even upgraded to the pro package yet. Accuracy and amount of data that’s measured and not calculated. My 2nd place would have been the rapsodo followed by the R10, SC4/optishot
It would have helped and provided a better test if 1/ you set up the MLM2Pro right and put the ball in the yellow box and 2 used the Rapsodo range to see all the metrics on one screen. A lot of user error and not a real test. Terrible video
Which one would you choose?

What golf shoes are those @ 7:40, you like them?
Ecco Biom C4’s… I love em!!
My MLM2 Pro arrives tomorrow. Don’t have an indoor setup so it will be exclusively for outdoor use.
You should love it!
@@andrewjensengolf looking forward to it. Had the Mevo and it was all over the place and inconsistent. Very disappointing.
I use mine outside into net …… great device and I have blisters to prove it!

That’s awesome to hear!
@andrewjensengolf their customer service was exceptional. Nothing but great things to say about them.
Agreed

I would like to see you compare the MLM2Pro vs the Ernest Sport B1 launch monitor but sit behind the ball and very simulate price and data...Thanks...

My thoughts are all laid out in this video on who each unit is for and what the benefits would be…

100% more than adequate!! If used, it will help you a great deal along your path to improvement👊🏼 rapsodo.pxf.io/jrDoRn

Garmin r10 with awesome golf
Rapsodo
Mevo plus
Thoughts?
Thanks
It really all depends on your budget. Mevo+ is really hard to top, so long as you can justify the 3k investment
@@andrewjensengolf do you rate the garmin r10
@@AD-jc9sj I've yet to test it

Good review. It sounds like those who practice outside only would be better served by the MLM
At $3k plus the mevo sounds like its pretty close to Bushnell launch pro pricing. That might be a good comparison
Totally agree, and I’ll be working on making that happen in the new year!
@andrewjensengolf definitely want to see that. If it's comparable to Mevo+ without the connection headaches it could be a game changer

Its frustrating to me how expensive these things are then to tac on a subscription is crazy especially for the high-end models

my rapsodo total is way shorter than what it actually does. I tested it against the mevo + and the mevo was way more accurate
I can see far more than 6 on my MLM. Click the arrow and all metrics are on the screen..
Have to make sure the RPT ball is in the hitting square for MLM2PRO. Seems like it’s way off
I would also try Rapsodo Range. Displays all the metrics for indoor use
I know that, I broke that down in the full MLM2PRO video
