      It’s a lot of miles yes but it’s not a lot as in the car will be on it’s last legs, I always look after the car and it will last much longer, I know someone with an old Skoda with nearly 500k miles and it’s still going with no issues.

    This just goes to show how hard it is to do a good car review. Typically, you would do a good walk around, show the engine compartment, talk about specs, then move to the interior and talk about features. The driving should be on an OPEN ROAD to demonstrate and talk about the handling. Thanks for posting the video, but I don't really feel any more informed about the S5, than before watching this.

      Resale value? These car's retail price dropped like a tank from their msrp since they came out in 2008. You can pick one up that has been driven less than 100k miles for under 15 grand nowadays. These things sold for over 70 grand new when they came out. You as an S5 owner also don't know what you're talking about. That's how me whose also an S5 owner too was able to afford one even as a college student.

    • @danielcarlsson7777
      @danielcarlsson7777 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@reeseboi8704 I think he's talking about resale value as in buying a used one and reselling it a few years later.... there's not many cars out there that you can buy brand new and resell for almost the same price after a couple of years.

    • @reeseboi8704
      @reeseboi8704 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@danielcarlsson7777 What you said absolutely makes no sense. There is no such thing as buying a car straight from the dealership brand new and selling it for even a higher profit a couple years later. Any car ever immediately drops in value the moment you drive it brand new out of a dealership. The only cars that have actually appreciated in value a couple years after coming out of a dealership brand new are limited production supercars, like Lamborghini Veneno for example. This S5 is literally worth around 20k if you want a low mileage one. That is 50k less than when it came out 13 years ago. This car is still dropping in value each year. Mate you literally have no idea about what you're talking about..

    • @danielcarlsson7777
      @danielcarlsson7777 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@reeseboi8704 I was simply referring to what you said in your earlier comment. It was you that talked about the price of the car dropping from its msrp, and I simply replied that most cars do drop quite alot from their msrp. And that I think that what he was talking about was resell value from one second hand owner to the next when it's already a used car. With that said I don't have any opinion in this cars actual resell value from one second hand user to another. But I would be surprised if it's alot different(up or down) from Merc, BMW or any other brand in the same price range.

Once you are there it is hard to say no but after buying it I had so much regrets. Its awd but not practical at all. Maybe 10 years ago I would have loved the car but I'm 33 and I think you grow out of it eventually. Don't let impulse win you over and have regrets, make sure you really want it before buying it. I just downshift with the left paddle even in auto mode if i'm cruising and want to overtake etc, if it's in 6th, tap paddle 3 times and you drop to third no prob, or slam you foot past that bit you feel for the kickdown, depends what you want to do, i'm al;ways playing with the "Audi drive select" anyway, but still quicker than shifting a manual imo. In "comfort mode" it WILL hold back for obvious reasons, but in Dynamic mode it's a lot more responsive.

    Check out what i did to my 2010 Audi S5 i did a lot of work on it cosmetically. The engine is great and i've never had any problems with any of my Audi. I plan on supercharging it to get it right about 600CHP.

    Was just in ATL two weeks ago. Rented a 2018 Altima for 7 days, 139.00, incl taxes. 70.00 seems high for a ten yr old car, per day.

    Having had three Audi’s I can tell you that you are about to witness the destruction of your car from the inside. They are evidently programmed to begin self-destructing at 100k miles. Get your wallet ready.
