- A slightly dark, gritty remix of Sanctuary Fortress. Thematically, we were thinking about the last stand of the luminoth of Metroid Prime 2 as they faced dark monsters assaulting the last bastion of their advanced race. We call it "Dying Innovation".

Echoes is my favorite part from the trilogy
It was the start of the trilogy for us, so many good memories.
I remember falling in love with Metroid all over again with prime, then echoes came out and oh boy… obsession doesn’t do it justice 😂
If every area in echoes was this aesthetically detailed I’d say it was the best in the trilogy

Thank you! Metroid Prime 2 was my first experience with the prime series (I was originally skeptical of a FPS metroid), and its music as a lot of memories for me.
I was recommended this out of nowhere. As a Metroid Prime fan this is welcome treat.
I always thought that Echoes was the Majora's Mask of the Prime Trilogy. It's so dark and bleak, so creepy and unnerving it borders on horror unlike the first and the third. It was my least favourite to play and I never replayed it after finishing it, but I would say that it was perhaps the most thematic. Also, it was the hardest game out of the trilogy imho. Sanctuary Fortress was my favourite part of the game in spite of how difficult it was to make it out alive.

At first i though the same about Echoes. I did finished it once 100% right after finishing prime 1 and said "never gonna play this again". But suddenly theses days i revisited Echoes and beat it again, without playing prime 1, and this time this fact just gave the game more essense. Perhaps the critisize about this game is more about it not being prime 1 than what the game really is. Dunno, just is an amazing game.

This is almost more Megaman Zero than it is Metroid at some parts, and I think that's pretty neat.
Megaman Zero is another favorite OST, so I'm surprised its inspiration may have slipped in!
Woah, dunno how this remix went over my head. The sound design hearkens to MMX (like Sigma's Fortress), but is also very Metroid too. The heavy guitars, synths, brass and MP-style choirs are to die for. Love how you guys built up to an epic climax at the 4:50 area. Nice work fellas!

I always had the original track for Sanctuary Fortress stuck in my head, and it's one of my favorite tracks from Prime 2 along with Torvis Bog. This one is soooooooooooo good!

Woah I don't know how I've never come across this remix. Sanctuary Fortress is my favorite location in any Metroid game with one of my favorite songs too, and I love this more energetic take on it. Pumps me with excitement to boot up Echoes once again!
