Me too! I think what's so fascinating about the city below is the implication it gives. That there's a civilization that was so highly populated that it required a city to be built, with a looming sanctuary hovering overhead to govern the people below. But now everything is changed and everyone is gone. It's ominous, but makes you want to advance as the hero and change things for the better.
This is a great rendition. It brings a more modern mix to the table without straying too far from the spirit of the original in a way that I could imagine this feeling at home in a remastered version of the official soundtrack. I think the lead synth could be just a touch quieter compared to everything else, but know that I'm also not a music producer. My favorite part of this version is the bass synth melody. I'm such a sucker for that low "beow beow" sound that is common in synthwave tracks these days. I'm excited to check out your other Metroid renditions.
FINALLY I FOUND IT!! Two years after I saw one edit clip with THAT ART and music on Discord. Saved it on my phone without any idea who is author behind music))) Yep, that’s your new recent subscriber))
Amazing! Sanctuary Fortress was always my favorite area in Prime 2 largely due to the music. To my astonishment you've improved on the original score by leaps and bounds.
I agree with what another commenter said, they should hire you for prime 4, if they do i hope to see you credited properly not like they did with the OG Prime cast and the Prime Remastered cutting ALL of their names from the credits.
I always wanted to go down to the cities
Me too!

Same! It’s probably poppin down there
Good idea for a larger game
its really this part of the game it hits you theres a lot more than just a handful of moths you need to save, but an entire civilization.
Here's hoping due to prime remasters success they remaster echoes and people get to experience this gem
We are back! 🗿🔥
Dude they better get you on MP4

Love the percussive elements especially. The reverb on them is hawt. The faithful sine and choirs is a nice touch too! Wonderful rearrangement :3
Amazing art
So saddening to think that there used to be so many Luminoth that they built a city, and all that remains were a few dozen in the temple.

Has to be one of the best areas in Metroid history
It's time to hunt.
Awesome remix of the theme for the best area in the Prime Trilogy
P.S - That art is beautiful
Damn I love that picture
Both the remix and the art are outstanding. Fitting for the coolest area in the Trilogy
AWESOME art and AWESOME remix, from one of the best areas in the whole Metroid saga 😊
This is a really good remix. My only critique would be to let those background melodies come out much more and not hide them. Let the melodies sing.
What a coincidence, i was looking for a remix of this theme and this video shows up on my search results 😮
Dude the artwork to this is cRAZY!
So since hurricane Ida caused the great Quadraxis remix, did this one come from Ian?
well done. i like people who expand a game universe. this is a good example of that
You go to a nightclub in sanctuary city on aether, this the beat they playing after the war and luminoth in there doin the stanky leg
Okay but THAT ART THOUGH. WHERE?!
@Kazumasa_yskn on Twitter! One of my faves 🖤
I hope you keep making these Metroid tracks! They're so great!
good shit my guy!
Awesome piece, sanctuary fortress is the #1 reason I keep hoping for a MP2 remaster like prime 1.
Sanctuary in its 'prime'

Hell yeah dawg! 🙏🏼💯
They should actually remake metroid like capcom did with resident evil 4
