    Sensor team actually is a really good card on the Warlord. If you roll badly with your red dice you are at least guaranteed two hits and you can use your turbolaser spot for the Spinal armament instead of the H9 Turbolasers in order to be able to activate the ability. And Nav team is a really good card on the Nebulon B.

    Shields to Maximum with Jerrjerod. Jer allows you to take damage for extra yaw. It's something.

    I found heavy turbo laser turrets to have its uses. As you have said before brace is the most common way to remove damage. Great way to drill directly through one hull zone.

      I think it's definitely in how you use it. I mainly use it on ships that I intend to be dumping lots of damage, to limit how much brace can do.

    Good video. Agree with everything except Quad Laser Turrets. I find them incredibly useful in the Sloane-era, especially on squadron-less fleets (I play Rebels, so Toryn Farr, who is in almost all my fleets, helps with rerolls). Would have gone with Point-Defense Reroute instead. Keep videos like this and the Counter one coming!

    Not so sure I totally agree with Weapons or Defense Liaison being bad. Now in a fleet that’s not meant for them, you’re right that they have no place. However, Tarkin and Thrawn are easy ways to get tokens, allowing you to activate them no problem. Furthermore, this card is honestly designed to build in some flexibility to your fleet. If you had an engineering command set but you got in range and need one extra dice, switch it over to a concentrate fire. It’s not about fixing your mistakes (though it can be), it’s much more about providing your important (and slow) warships the ability to adjust for unforeseen circumstances. There is no way to “plan it so everything goes right”. Your opponent (if they’re any good at all) will have some way to disrupt your setup. Not to mention that they’re also good slicer insurance.

    I've had success with shields to maximum on a list with an MC80 assault and two Nebulon B supports. All the ships had projection experts and kept feeding two shields a turn to the MC80 on top of the MC having redundant shields, early warning system on top of the shield it was getting every turn. Assuming that I always had shields to charge, it would get 11 shields back per turn

    I like my Nav Team as a discount engine techs for the maneuverability boost on my MC80 Liberty with Raymus Antilles - really takes that questionable 1-0-1 yaw and can make them turn better than Jerry on an ISD

    Well, thinking a little closer, I thought Nav Team would be good while flying MC80 where the maneuver is terrible though, do you think it makes sense in this case?

    Sensor team really shouldn't require you to spend a die. If it just let you change one die to an accuracy when exhausted it would be qiite usable, no?

    You had NK-7 Ion Cannons and broke my heart, kinda. It makes sense why you picked it and I don't blame you, but I used it to immense success on my Liberty Star Cruiser in my last tournament. It is too expensive and situational. Like you said, I really wish I was able to choose which defense token instead of my opponent's choice. Looking forward to your "Best card for each slot" video!

    I can see justification for the Liaisons with Leia as the commander. Not the best, but it's there.
    It's still in a really competitive slot, but the 'insurance policy' is far more important because with how expensive and potentially impactful as Leia's super commands are there's far less room for error and command sabotage is only more dangerous. It also gives a use to those Round 1 tokens that otherwise either sit there or nullify Leia. The most likely carriers are probably a titled Nebulon or an Assault Frigate that you don't want to invest a lot of extra points in.

    The Weapons Liaison is the best card. May I also mention the Earth is flat and lizard people live under the Denver airport. ( This is sarcasm for those that believe in the afromentioned beliefs.)

    I use the NK-7s combo'd with Intel Officer, it is still quite expensive, but works well.

    honestly, I use Jamming Field on a flotilla with Toryn Farr. We all get one less die, but I get a reroll

    So I came up with a solid list that includes sensor teams
    Vic 2
    Needa
    Trc
    Warlord
    Decaps
    And sensor team
    The sensor allows for 100% 2 doubles with warlord and trc and giving concentrate fire allows you to return the 3rd dice

    i think nav team is great on MC80 liberty with raymus if you dont run madine i also like using them in combinations with wulf yularen on arquiten giving me a perpetual additional yaw!

    i am a new player but isnt it more likely that the nk-7 ion connon forces defenders to discard green defense tokens when you use it at your first shoot and when he discard a red token you dont have to worry about anymore for the following rounds.

    i like my nav team on gladiators using ozzel and wullf yularen. resolving free nav commands wile getting concentrate fire. expensive but awesome combo

    It is kind of funny but I have a fleet that uses both Garm and a Weapons liaison on a Phoenix Home Command Pelta w/ Intensify Firepower. The Liason ensures the commands cannot be forced off Concentrate Fire. :-)

    I usually run Intel officer with heavy turbolaser turrets and use the officer to only use a redirect, or get rid of the brace

      I feel like if you have intel officer you'd be better off with a different turbolaser, like Spinal Armament or something to help you throw more dice.

    In my experience heavy turbolasers paired with xi7s is an annoying combo. But only a handful of ships can actually do it

    I hate sensor team i dont really care about accuracys much i run fleets dedicated to close quarters combat i care more about throwing black dice than i do getting a accuracy and im going to be throwing so many blue and black dice the only thing i have to worry about is brace which i make sure to get rid of before i hit them with my heavy hitters

    I wholly disagree on Insidious as the worst title. Insidious is great in a double gladiator fleet, especially with Hyperspace Assault as an objective.
    Redemption is terrible and never sees the table.

    I wouldn't run seventh fleet on a gladiator. Their front area are too small.

      Well the gladiator is a side arc ship so yeah the front arc is small that and you miss out on demolisher which is super good

    I'd argue that Leia is in far worse position than Garm when it comes to practicality. She's too expensive and Garm can effectively do her job for the critical early game turns while getting all the benefits of multiple commands per ship.

      Garm is fine (except for Command 1 ships), and so is Leia (except for Command 3 ships). Tagge is the stinkiest Commander.

    My dislike is from the point of view of one who is starting out, So I may be a little bias on it but I also can't just get every single ship in triple count every couple of months. And it was mostly the first half of the video.
