Ten Numb with escort and Yavaris can deal ~10 damage with NO back counter (Numb ability!). Add hard FLAK and beat squadrons with COUNTER. Today match was vs 4xA-Wing & 4xX-Wing. No COUNTER shots against my squadrons :)
Snipe, nuff said. I do wish they had more defens8ve tokens for squadrons. Only Aces with defensive counters seem like a missed opportunity. Even unique squadrons don't have defensive tokens.
Ciena Ree can also be really nice, her obstruction reduces the effectiveness of enemy counter attacks.

I’d love to see the resistance bomber in Armada. It should have a lot of hull too, to counter counter, but I guess they would be dreadfully slow.

What do you think is the best squadrons to have in a light squadron build
The pylon Guy I like combos, like Ciena Ree and Valen Rudor work great for Imperials or Shara Bey and Tycho Celchu for Rebels.
If they are waiting for GenCon, then it had better be good....you know, something big!
