Bloom (High School Senior Animation Thesis Film)

Bloom is a queer animated film, following Lavette as she grapples with her identity and begins to accept herself. This film was largely based off my own experiences coming out as queer. The film took me a total of five months to make and was made using mixed media animation to convey different emotions and create a split between Lavette’s real world and her idealized dreams.
