    The top honda is about 15k more and does not even have a 360 camera. Some goose said these should be under 40k. Seriously dude.

    This car is excellent and I can attest to it's quality. My friends bought one in South Africa. They've already done over 20,000kms in 8 months and 4 long road trips. The one we did all together, 4 passengers and 3500kms in total. It was sublime and the interior is so solid and holds up so well to abuse. Even the back doors have the same soft touch plastics and high quality which even a double price Mercedes GLB can't match.

    Having driven this car I can safely say there isn't a direct competitor that matches its price and list of extras. This isn't a 5seater... it's a 7 so stop comparing 5seaters. If you only need a 5 seater save the cash and get a 5 seater only.
    But for a 7 seater this car has so much, the Sony stereo is crazy and really nice. It has tons of power... literally 0-100 in under 7 seconds, overtakes quickly and we averaged 9.6ltr per 100ks and that was being abit silly with the gas. The transmission is good and smooth for a dct, would of preferred a 7sp zf or similar auto but it's smooth and has alot of extras.
    Is a great budget choice for under 50k with awd

    I preferred the AWD model. I found the steering to pull when accelerating around a corner. You would expect that from a front wheel drive though. The AWD model will be safer in the wet.

    Would this be your pick for a family of 6 on a budget who need an awd? Live in Jindabyne, so have our fair share of snowy and Icy roads to deal with. Kids are 13 (172cms), 11 (160cm) and 2 x 7yr olds in boosters. 1 will be in a booster for quite a while as he is short. Trying to find something to replace our grand carnival, without breaking rhe budget. 4wd would bw great, but if and is more in our budget then that's what it will need to be

    Deprecn and resale will be enormous ppl seem happy to lose half value in a couple of years? No DAB radio again with Chinese cars all brands do not offer this which is a given its 2024 not sure why this is??? Also not interested in faulking out a butt load of money at pump for premium unleaded up to $2.50 to $2 90 per litre. They're as reliable as anything else. The euro brands are doing terribly for reliability. This car has been in South Africa since the pre facelift and there's been no issues.

    • @freddyarmijos8883
      @freddyarmijos8883 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@SDav21 well, never been to South Africa but it seems like we should compare notes! I own a truck shop (class 8 or heavy truck) in Colombia, I am from USA. We specialize in transmission work. The Chinese trucks have VERY bad transmissions. Most of our work is swapping out the chinese transmissions with transmissions made in USA. Way more reliable. Same applies to small pickups. The chinese cars in general also have A LOT of trouble with the engines - the engine size too small - as well as severe rust issues. They use very bad quality metals and the paint jobs don't last long - the metals get destroyed by rust very fast. These issues are very common in Australia. Another issue is long delays in getting parts - if you can even get them! Dong Feng truck brand is one example.

    • @SDav21
      @SDav21 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@freddyarmijos8883 problem 1 is comparing passenger cars to trucks. Problem 2 is assuming and speaking like American cars don't have their fair bit of issues and problems. Issues and problems they shouldn't have for carmakers with so many years in the industry. Problem 3 is assuming all Chinese cars are the same and that they haven't moved on. People used to say the same things about Japanese cars and now they basically rule the roads in the US particularly when it comes to reliability and dependability. I can attest to the durability of the cars from Haval and Chery so far. They have proven themselves here in South Africa. I know people who've had less issues with their Havals and Cherys than they've had with their VWs and American made cars. Mind you, American cars never did well here and most have left the country because no one wants them. They're not good and neither are they reliable.
