- Here’s all you need to know about soon-to-be-launched maxi scooter from Hero - Xoom 160. It’ll be powered by a new 158cc liquid-cooled engine that produces 14bhp and 13.7Nm paired to a new CVT unit. Likely to be priced around Rs 1.3 lacs, it will take on the likes of Yamaha Aerox.
Indian Manufacturers must focus on Engineering more than Looks. The Xoom 110 Customers are complaining in large numbers about Engine Noise, Vibrations & Parts falling off.
That was a budget concern product so something need to compromise .
Also in 110cc scooter after 80 vibration are common .

@@AnOrangeOrange1000There's a difference between 110 cc engine and 125 cc engine.
TVS Jupiter 110 has terrible engine performance after you cross 70 kmph. Where as Jupiter 125 and Ntorq ask to be revved till 90 kmph.
Honda doesn't have a 110 cc engine in their scooties? Do they?
@@varun2250 I have ridden Yamaha Alpha, Yamaha Ray Z, Honda Activa - I & Honda Dio. All have had Small Capacity Engines. But, their Engines were so refined (even, despite being the Carburetted Ones) back in 2014. At least, their Parts didn't come off.
I've hero xoom 110. It's great scooter in 110 cc segment
from year 2019 i'm literally waiting for an actual Maxi Scooter and Finally it's arriving in India in next 6Months!!

LOL, proud owner of an Aerox. Used it for touring more than 1000 kms. 1 saal ke upar hogaye, still enjoying every ride!
I am currently using the Yamaha Aerox 155 and completed over 24000 kms in the last 20 months including touring….trust me the vehicle has not given me any trouble and the engine is super smooth…….,Do not know How well Hero would engineer this product …I already had a bad experience with Hero Pleasure one of their scooters
Bro, there's no comparison of Japs and Hero. These Hero guys never evolved from bicycle era and spent whole life in assembling Honda Bikes
How is the suspension? Is it really as bad as everyone says? I am young and physically active so I have high tolerance for discomfort. My activa does not have any suspension travel and still it's fine for me lol

I bought hero xoom 110 in february 2023....4 free sevices done.........after 3rd sevice 6000+km there is little..i mean you can say no vibration below 30 speed after 40 no vibration at all......and i just love the design look of xoom 160. i hope it will have 10 lit fuel tank........i expect 25 kmper litre milage....im getting 35-40kmpl on my xoom 110....i can see drum on the rear. disk would have been better.
110cc avg miledge range from 45-60km/ltr
150-160cc avg is 25-35km/ltr
250-300cc avg is 15-25km/ltr
So ur 110cc is gvg it's stndrd while xoom 160cc ??? U knw its TVS 😅

My experience with Hero in my last two motorcycles is, The quality levels are pathetic. Cost cutting everywhere. Engines are not at all desirable to enjoy the ride. It's all showoff. People hyped Xpulse also but when I actually bought it, it was a pathetic engine and chassis combination. As always good presentation by you :)
XPulse I do have....better bike....power should be around 25 bhp will make it more better

Mujhe , adv160 , forza 125 , xoom 160 mai se koi ek lena hai ,, but india mai launch nhi ho raha ,, keeway , bmw , yamaha tak maxi scooter launch kar diya hai

Looks good and practical but personally i didn't like the red plastic covering used on the handle bar.
Could be easily fixed by gloss black vinyl wrap.

What is the fuel tank capacity?
Everything looks good so far. Rear monoshock hota tho stability aur comfort zabardast hota. Lastly, blinkers LED ke hona chahiye tha aur mobile storage ka flap looks flimsy. Baaki sab badiya.
Aftermarket is the best option for that.

Bhai quality levels Xoom 160 ke jyada better hai. Iska actual competition Honda PCX 150 aur yahaan NMax hai. Also Xoom 160 is heavier because of better material used.

I hope it can match up with the performance of Aerox n priced aggressively. Have been eagerly waiting for Honda ADV for few years but now hope to get this one if price at par or below Aerox.
Aerox 150 cc where as xoom is 160 cc, then of course it will compete with it.

@@JatinBhuyan Aerox is 155 n Xoom is 158cc so almost same but taking on the Yamaha's torque n especially with VVA kicking in after 3000rpm is cruises at high speeds. Competing to this engine especially at top speeds will be a tough job. But I am hopeful with Xoom160. Let's see.

Is scooter ka handle bar up me hai jo ek advantage hai long ride k liye.. Yamaha Aerox ka handle bar niche hai jiske liye thoda problem hai jiska back pain hai.

However, we do not have specific information regarding the launch of the Xoom 160 in Philippines.
Minimum 7 liter ka fuel tank hona chaiye nahi to product fail ho jayega. Oil cooled engine Diya hai to Kum se kum 200- 250 km ki range bhi honi chahiye. Aerox main 5.5 litre ka engine hai aur fuel injection ki wajah se ek liter to tank main rakhna hi padtha hai. Long drive main confidence nahi milega agar fuel tank chota hoga to...baki sab teek hai.

Adv 350 bhi aa sakta hai, uska patent file karke rakha hai. Lekin 160 shayad nahin, though teaser Diya tha unke TH-cam channel pe but that was months 5-6 ago.

If you can pass 2 suggestions to Hero Group
First the closing of front storage space looks quite Flimsy & not up to the mark as it appears.
Does it have USB charger??
Secondly, hero must provide Rear GAS filled Shockers for better ride comfort .
Consumers will pay for the comfort
Otherwise scooter looks very cool & promising
