In India, mostly scooters are used for economic purpose, not for riding fun.
India badly needs a scooter of 160+cc having similar facilities to Activa but with a sporty look. The step through frame being the main required one.

I bought Aerox only for it's power. I don't care fuel economy, stiffer suspension, plastic build and other cost cutting factors. It's just pure fun and looks like the king of scooters. Thank you Yamaha! ✌️

@@Fact_TalkiesYT i am using aerox for last 6 months in city I get 45-50 and on long trips and highway I get around 55 at good crusining speed..If I go around recommended speed limit it will be even better but do keep in mind the mileage kick in time is more like it take 15 days after your first service to get true mileage.

Aerox almost better in every way... Keeway doesn't justify it's hefty Pricetag, especially having too many quality issues and lacking in practicality... Keeway's network also isn't the best...
Only issue is small fuel tank
Keeway will have to do some manufacture here rather than bringing from China to keep the prices competitive.
Few more things brings concern about aerox while seating poster for taller rider like knee is uncomfortable and hard suspension, small fuel tank, small visor, tall seat hight for below height 5.7 riders, and availability issue that is aerox is not available in only blue core Yamaha dealers. And mileage of aerox. That is when you ride it on 3 digits it's mileage goes very down like 22kmpl.

Keeway is a Chinese owned company located in Hungary not an Hungarian company. Even benelli is not an Italian company anymore, In 2005, Qianjiang acquired Benelli, a historic Italian motorcycle manufacturer based in Pesaro in the Marche region. Even Volvo is owned by Chinese. How many people knows this😮?
No wonder why Chinese GDP is so high.
Aerox rocks man .I am using this scooter/ bike and its the most amazing in experience. Comfort is of top level stability of this scooter is great very fast acceleration. Great storage capacity excellent for touring as well drawback which i have felt is the fuel capacity which is 5.5 lit and rear break should have been a disk break instead of drum break . Other than that its the best scooter in indian market . When you drive aerox you don't feel you are driving it it feels as if vehicle doesn't exist its so smooth .
How is the experience riding with a pillion? Carries smoothly or takes a lot of load?

Such a smooth punchy scooter but has the worst ride quality
Try getting aftermarket shocks from some good workshop who can import parts, like Aerox is very popular in South Asian countries like Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore etc, so they've a lot of parts for them like better shocks or 7.5 ltr fuel tank etc, from what I heard is that you can get good Shocks for like 5-7K that'll improve the ride quality by a lot
You can get Indonesia spec Yamaha shocks for around 10k. They are great.

I want power in a two wheeler but not a fan of Bike so Aerox is what I wanted and i bought, i stay in Meghalaya so ride to cherapunji or any other beautiful places in Meghalaya is very smooth in Aerox....but I had a problem in Aerox self-start for a day and the next day it started working again, also the brakes ain't upto the mark....Rest it's a best for hilly and highway roads also in Traffics it runs smoothly 😇

in Greece we have only n max 155 and it costs almost 4000€ and keeway vieste 300 costs the same price. the keeway importer is among the best pros in country in support and technical care..So it depends on the country but in europe prices differs.Vieste is a bit on the cheap side but it s 300cc..
Yamaha (155 ) bluecore engine is of the best in the market.

Anytime aerox wins with its lower pricing. Double pricing with just 5-7% performance advantage is sheer stupidity...plus the brand and resale will be big problem when ur going for resale

Update: Finally purchased the Vieste 300 on Diwali.

After test riding the Aerox and the Vieste, for my specific use, I found the Vieste more comfortable. The lower seat height means my wife who's only 5 feet 2 can easily ride the scooter without getting intimidated. The rear seat was also great for her height. The suspension on both (especially the rear ones) are hard -- but the Vieste's is much softer compared to Aerox.
The biggest irony? Yamaha has not even started selling the Aerox in a huge city like Ahmedabad -- while the Keeway showroom is like 10 minutes away from my home. The nearest city from where I have to buy the Aerox is Indore!
As for the quality levels, those praising the Aerox should know how flimsy the fuel lid and the cover for the glovebox is. Even Honda and Yamaha's expensive maxi scooters are infamous for poor quality plastics. In an Indian context, the price of the Vieste looks expensive and it should ideally have been below 3L OTR -- but the price is on par with the Vieste's international pricing.

@@girishs1755 Sorry for the late reply. The Boot space is good enough. I added a large top box at the rear that can hold two helmets. Will add panniers too and turn it into a tourer soon.
However you wont get the Japanese engine reliability on a Chinese scooter
@@navneetsingh7641 the engine is from Piaggio, and is used on the Vespa GTS 300 and larger Aprilia scooters in Europe, Usa, and South East Asia. So I know it's fairly reliable. I did my research before spending my money on this.

Keeway a sure shot flop in India. Exorbitant price and doesn’t justify it in any way except for the bigger fuel tank and slightly lighter weight.
I am just an average citizen who have an average income with below poor fame by all means. But 8 months before, I became the owner of a Yamaha Aerox scooter. Now for the past 8 months, me and my bike ( should call him as a bike) is the main attraction locally. Dozens of people enquired about this beast while I am on traffic and where ever I take him to.I 💙 it

If you'd have shown storage comparison first, I'd have not bothered to watch the whole video and comparison. Nothing justifies the price if you can't even put a full face helmet to the glove.

Wrong comparision. Vieste 300 should be compare only with C400GTi(Actual 349 CC) Than only one come to know how value for money is the Vieste. C400iGT is triple the price of Vieste 300.

Aerox not good for long way riders. No proper foot rest. BTW, Aerox and Keeway will not work out IF Honda ADV 150 and Burgman 650 comes in the market.

In India people buy scooter for family ride if in Keeway pillion not comfortable then why paying so high price also scooters are for mileage but in Aerox you get Power and mileage both so Yamaha is a clear win in Indian market
In India, scooters are also being purchased for front space to keep goods. Not for fashion actually. Scooters are multiple purpose 2 wheelers vehicles. These Aerox, Keeway are not good for India so they are not getting much business here. That's why Activa, Jupiter, Dio, Burgman still rocks!!!

The only problem i faced was the back suspension was stiff in bad roads and petrol capacity was 5 ltrs which means we have to take frequent pump stops. Mileage looks okay to me (since its belt driven) I am getting 38 - 40.
