This. And definitely do the claymation video first, for context. ...and have a box of tissues handy, seriously. But don't let that warning dissuade you, it's an amazing song and video.
@Franck Bizouard @ David Jones @ snowpuppy 77 @ William Bass - Guys I don’t think with their particular history this is the right song to recommend for a reaction. It’s bad enough for most of us but it may be too close to reality for these two great people At least you need to flag that the subject matter of the song is the loss of children! Rich and Kel this is an amazing song and if you choose to do it it would be great but given its subject matter it might be one to listen to privately. My top three bands are Dream Theater, Steven Wilson and Porcupine Tree so as you can imagine, I'm glad I stumbled across your channel! Thanks guys I'm really enjoying your reactions.
Steven Wilson was nominated for a Grammy in 2012 for Best Surround Album for "Grace For Drowning". He didn't win & it's no wonder since The Grammys have veered far from Rock, Progressive Rock, Metal etc. It's a shame since he's been around for over 30 years & is still relatively unknown by the mainstream. I think he's one the best in modern rock today. Another great progressive band is Big Big Train. They are more of an ensemble group, with many instruments & all members contributing, where as Steven Wilson does most of the work & just hires great musicians. Big Big Train just posted a new live clip which is a great sample of their sound. th-cam.com/video/frbnpDOMtuY/w-d-xo.html

I was listening to the studio version of this in the car today. The track has the original King Crimson mellotron and is awesome. However, this version is insane. I've heard bassist Nick Beggs several times with Steve Hackett and the rest of the band are magnificent. Superb choice.
Steven Wilson has been nominated 4 times for a Grammy award. But I don't think the Grammy's hold as much honor as they use to. There is a lot wrong with them now. Still would be an honor tho. Its nice that Tool has won a couple. Steve has done amazing things in music besides creating it. He has also a producer and has produced for a number of bands , for example Opeth being one. He is also a musical sound engineer and has done something I think is really awesome and gone back remixed and remastered albums from bands such as King Crimson, Jethro Tull, and more. The is also an area where he earned his nomination for Grammy's for "Best Mix For Surround Sound" for albums such as "Fear of a Blank Planet", Grace for Drowning", "The Incident", and "Storm Corrosion" .
