Definitly one of, If not the one, best masterpiece that Steven Wilson has ever made! Unbelivable!!!

I’m a bit surprised that a reaction to this song did not get any comments to the bass player Nick Beggs and drummer Marco Minnemann! What a performance specificly from these amazing musicians ❤️😊

PT have to listen slowly like good wine - drink and tasting... many, many times.
I love compositions PT and Stevena - solo 15 years and this Music growing up with me and everytime I discover their sounds like King Crimson....
I'm waiting for Your reaction to THE RAVEN THAT REFUSED THE SING + animation video. I like You very much☺️🍀💚 I'm Dominika too🌻Thx☺️❤️

Many times it's the songs that take longer to connect with a listener that are the ones that have a lasting impression on that listener.

One of the best bass driven tune. Nick Beggs is one of the greatest bassists.

Man, that Piano Solo is just fine with me. The last 4 lines in particular.

Now it could be time to react to some “Porcupine Tree” and the Frontman of the band is “Steven Wilson”…
Recently released a new live version from their 2022 Concert Tour and the song is called: ‘Harridan’…
The entire Blu-Ray/CD Concert to be released Dec of 2023…

A very complex song very similar to a band he admired called YES!

You guys do the BEST reactions :-) so genuine, so heartfelt and so thoughtful. Really enjoyable and so NON-anglo saxon.
Welcome to the first of never ending whiplash moments Domenica so long as you continue to explore the genius of our generation in Steven Wilson and the astonishing range of what he does musically. If you are looking for something very recent and a little more easily digestible, can I suggest What Life Brings from his just released solo album The Harmony Codex. It has an official video too which is a classic SW mix of melancoly, beauty, a touch of sinister but finally sheer joy. I feel you will both love it.
    Keep up the great work!

This song is one of the most complex songs Steven Wilson has ever made from my opinion. It takes 5 up to 10 times listening until you really catch all the details and idears. It is more in one song than other bands have in a whole album. I love it but it takes a while. And Marco is one of the best drummers on the planet aside Gavin Harrison.

My favorite SW solo work right here. It reminds me a little of Heart Of The Sunrise by Yes. Actually the only other bands I know of that wrote with this kind of complexity would be Yes and some early Kansas. Cheers!

Great reaction! If you want to hear some more up-tempo Steven Wilson, check out the song Hand Cannot Erase. I also would love to see you check out Marillion's Invisible Man, Frost*s Milliontown and Flower King's Adam & Eve. Dziękuję!

Steven Wilson is in my top 5 of artists I want to listen to on a regular basis but like you I don't resonate with every musical rabbit trail that he has ventured down, and this song, as complex and cool as it is, is certainly not something I would show to someone who is not very familiar with his work! An interesting side note is that he always performs barefoot, much like the bassist from Bandmaid, Misa!🤘

Steve is very good. Now try listen to the band that he loved ; YES with a somewhat similar song from their album Drama called Tempus Fugit. Another couple of great songs from YES are Heart Of The Sunrise and Siberian Khatru!

Not a Steven Wilson Porcupine Tree Fan.... (I like the old prog rock from the OLD SCHOOL era) but I respect him too much... !! Steven loves México and their mexican fans... his album "Insurgentes" is called by the principal and most longer street of México City: Insurgentes. :)

Great videos. Really great selections of music.
But 'Luminol' needs 10-15 listens *on* *a* *HIFI*. The 'chaos' disappears and it becomes better and better.

a la frontière de la musique expérimentale,, au moins c est une demarche interessante. c est sur que ce n est pas une musique "facile", mais plutot une démarche artistique. les influences sont nombreuses.
