These cross throughs aren't really that common, and it seems that they tend to fail no matter what.
Steve had some great lines in that episode. When the shark eats his blueprint of the house: "It's hungry for flesh AND knowledge!" When the shark and the bear team up: "They're working in tandem! They're brothers in arms!"
The American Dad episode is honestly one of my favorites, and I think it's a good example on how American Dad has always been consistent, unlike Family Guy.
The Cleveland Show: Gasp! Jr is an antheist! Family Guy: Gasp! Meg doesn't like being abused! American Dad: Gasp! Now, outside of Cleveland and/or Donna sometimes, they've become background noise for Family Guy again, who went bad 10-11 years back, and can't take the hint no matter how much they like to dump on better shows. THe "crossover" could've been so better. Imagine American Dad experiencing a cutaway gag and the American Dad characters look around wondering "What the hell was that?!"

I don't get it: What about picking popcorn out of your teeth is a joke?" "Hey, don't act high and mighty with an alien themed Brian knockoff." Stan was shocked. Was this just the inane ramblings of a madman, or does he really know about Roger? "I'm not trying to insult you; it's just not a joke, fat ass." The creature recoiled. With a glint of spite in its eyes it started to speak. Something about it sets Stan's nerves on edge. "This is worse than the time that I was Adolf Hitler's coat sorter." With those words, Stan felt reality warp, stretch, distort into something unrecognisable as the place he was just a moment before. His consciousness was there, but not manifest, left to just watch the thing's play. It wore tailor outfit, standing in front of the tyrant. Stan instinctively reached for his fire arm, before remembering that he didn't have any body to do any action with. He was stuck. "Coat sorter! Where is mien coat?" "Mine coat? Got it right here." It presented a coat fitted with explosives in every pocket, hanging out flagrantly. Did it plan to kill Hitler in front of Stan? Or would it make him watch it get mutilated, barely alive, but suffering. Anything seems possible with this being, so how will it choose to torture him? Hitler hid behind a chair, cowering in the same way Stan wish he could. But the creature just stared at him. "Yeah I deactivated the bombs before sowing them in." "..." Somehow, the being managed to look straight at Stan. "Because bomb safety is important." And like nothing happened, Stan was back in his own body [...]
I really hate how the writers on Family Guy are using this excuse they don't know how to write a teenage girl when in the earlier Seasons Meg was basically a teenage girl who loved her family but got embarrassed by them occasionally.

I had zero clue this was a crossover. I only saw the American Dad episode and though the ending was novel, it's not like Stan hasn't met other Seth McFarlane characters before. I mean, he read aloud a list of his favourite fictional dogs before Brian showed up and asked 'do I know you?' This crossover would've been genuinely incredible if the other episodes were better, or connected to each other more. Imagine Cleveland calling Peter at the start and warning him about the hurricane, then the Family Guy episode has with a reference to Stan as foreshadowing, ending with all three meeting up
The family guy episode could've been something like, the Browns and the griffin's were planning to go on a cruise or something like that, and the Family guy episode is them on a road trip to pick up the browns while comedically trying to outrun the hurricane, and the Cleveland show episode he insists on them staying because the griffin's are on their way

I love how each Smith family member had a part in the plot. Steve was talking like an architect non-stop, Hailey was trying to sympathise with Stan (leading to her injury), Geoff just had some pure moments of stupidity, Klaus had a small arc of being the brunt of the family's abuse before he excitedly brags about the house flooding, Roger was being constantly annoyed by his fling, Stan was escalating all of it while Francine tried to level his crazy out. All of that, all of that happened in 20 minutes

They only connect with one guy that passed through their shows

There’s an episode of South Park that also does the Cleveland show section of the crossover’s concept better, too. It’s the episode where Stan meets a Mormon kid and he’s just this super wholesome and nice person. His family, too. However, Stan keeps struggling to get along with them because he’s so skeptical about the Mormon religion and how it sounds like Joseph Smith made it all up. Then, in the last scene of the episode, the kid finally tells off Stan on how Mormonism not making sense doesn’t matter since the message of the religion is to be good to others and love their family. It works because Stan is actively the one trying to shut down their beliefs, rather than it being the Mormon family trying to push it onto him.
American Dad gets the right message across far better and more often than any of Seth's other shows. I think it's because the characters remain consistent whereas Family Guy has everyone do anything because the writers couldn't let go of an idea.
It helps that in the second to last scene, Stan has an outburst against Gary and his family and one of the lines Stan criticizes them for being too happy and using it to weasel people into the Mormon religion. It's those lines that show that Stan was moreso just lashing out at them for not being his perception of normal, and less about their religion. It's why Gary's speech to Stan at the end hits so hard.
I love the American Dad episode. And by American Dad standards it's one of my top favorite episodes of the show. I've rewatched it countless times and always enjoy it. Damn good episode.
Another good thing is that American Dad introduces it's character drama plotpoint of Stan being bad at crisis along the hurricane frame device, so it keep building upon it, not just coming out of nowhere like with Cleveland Jr's atheism or Meg's getting fed up with the family. Also, is says much about American Dad when they have largest core family out of the three shoes and they still had a better episode with all grouped up in one place along a guest character. And the house actually flooding and flipping up is a clever way to have a bottle episode inside a familiar setting.
Idk what the actual differences are in the creative teams of Seth’s shows, but whatever they’ve been putting In the water of the American Dad wing for all these years, they better keep putting it in. A random Roger C plot solos the most planned out Family Guy/Cleveland episode
Honestly as a person of abuse the bit where they make Meg immediately take back what she said because she hurt their feelings (not that they ever cared about her own before) really rubbed me the wrong way. It really just gives the same vibe as when you tell someone about your own abuse and they say "but they're your family!" like okay? They didn't act like it
@@illseeyaonthedarksideofthemoon the whole episode took a more serious tone towards abuse rather than a comedic one. So no, it wasn't mocking it. And if it was, it sure did try and victim blame. It tried to do something that had a deep meaning, but because they didn't want any type of continuity, they fucked up the whole episode by making it seem like meg NEEDS to be abused.
American Dad! was absolutely fantastic, the best of the bunch and one of the best of the series. The writers heard someone say “hurricane” and ACTUALLY listened!

Is the perfect disaster movie spoof, starting from the fact that if they had done what any normal person would and listened to Buckle there wouldn't have been a plot to with every single character fittingly following the disaster movies archetypes. It's crazy that these episodes aired roughly a year before Hurricane Sandy. All three episodes aired on Octover 2, 2011. All shows take place in east coast states. Hurricane Sandy Formed October 22, 2012 and hit the east coast states hard. I find it more of a coincidence, since I feel like I didn't watch these episodes until a week before Sandy hit us.

I love the American Dad episode. Also, the hurricane event kind of reminds me of that Nickelodeon event where each show did a special dancing episode. Zoey 101, Drake and Josh, and I think another one.
I love how even if by accident the show has implied Meg griffin is a serial killer and more so in her more recent characterization. One of my favorite bits (I even uploaded the clip onto my channel) is the "Meg can't be left alone... Like seriously"

The whole Cleveland show episode really made me appreciate that my family doesn't care about my lack of religion. Everyone on my dads side is religious in one way or another and I was scared to let them know i wasn't but when the truth came out they all kinda just said "hey youre still the same kid either way. It doesn't matter" which i love because it helped shape my view on life which is live the best life you can and do right by those who do right by you.

Brian on shrooms is honestly one of my all-time favorite bits from Family Guy, and this episode of American Dad is in my top 3, but I had NO IDEA this was supposed to be a crossover. I genuinely just thought the end of the AD episode was a bit where all 3 main characters show up. They dropped the ball SO hard in trying to actually relate these stories 😂

It’s no surprise American dad had the best episode it really is the best Seth McFarlane sitcom. Also we gotta stop crediting Seth with family guy stuff he only wrote for the first season and was only involved with it before it’s first cancellation
That's not true. Seth was involved with Family Guy up until 2010 when he stopped writing for the show so he could work on Ted. One of the main reasons the show changed was him not being as involved as he used to.
Man, the simpsons episode that preceded this really was like... a top five of that era Its pretty memorable, especially compared to what was directly around it, and way better than the 500th episode airing later that season

I actually love that American Dad episode... AND IT ACTUALLY USES THE HURRICANCE AS A MAIN PREMISE. Love the analysis! Having it mixed in with your comedy style of reviewing/critiquing was great! and I felt that "I'm not ok :(" part... doubt it helps but I loved this video and made my day a bit better. Idk I don't find it weird or out of place for the Cleveland Show to use a religious story line during a natural disaster episode. But, I'm also black and not religious, but my family is Christian. I've been locked in with my family during tornadoes, they've reacted the same way to me not praying with them, so none of that felt unfamiliar because people do turn to God in times of crisis. I do realize this is me speaking from personal experience only but it sounded fun to share.

I really agree that it's not suuuuper outta place given this is a very dangerous event that can be life threatening. I'll also say that "I'm a black woman in the south" is pretty much the equivalent of my own dad's reasoning. Big, he's a mexican man and grew up with it- we just so happen to be in the south where religion is *hella* big.
I don't think the FG episode was all that bad..until the end at least when Meg willingly went back to being the family punching bag. 😒🙄 Brian's shroom trip was neat af, and seeing Meg lay into Peter, Lois, and Chris was a thing of beauty!

I'm actually under the belief that that Cleveland episode is more anti-religion/Christianity. Everyone except Cleveland Jr are Christians and fervently try to convince him to believe without having any substantial reason of their own to believe, and when they become angry with him, curse him in God's name. Then when Cleveland is in trouble, nobody does anything other than pray except for the non-believer. Then the message seems to slightly be "religion/prayer is a coping mechanism". I mean, do all the things the Christians do here not sound like the constant stereotypes atheists hold about us Christians?
The Cleveland show is a lot better than i gets made out to be. It’s closer to a show like king of the hill or bobs burgers in that Tim being a talking bear is probably the most surreal thing. For the most part they rely on more realistic and relatable scenarios than Seth’s other shows.
American dad is a shiw that felt like it had more black writers than the Cleveland show. There's just subtle dog whistles my people have That come through in writing that American dad was always doing. Cleveland show only did the ones you can Google. It's so weird hearing people compare them like they're the same

I've only watched american dad and i saw the hurricane episode and when cleaveland and peter showed up, i just thought it was a silly cameo since they share the same creator. so it's very surprising to me to learn the episode was the end of a trilogy and that i missed literally nothing.

Haven't watched the video yet, because I'm poor and out of data so it has to load a bit. I remember being really excited for this crossover event, then immediately forgetting the Cleveland shows part in it. I hated the family guy episode. But American dad freaking nailed it. "End of times bitches" "The sky ate Greg" It's my favorite American dad episode still. Also I lived in Florida the majority of my life so hurricanes are part of life for me, that helps my enjoyment I think
So many flashbacks on being let down on this crossover, way after I even learned this was a crossover. I used to think Seth not believing in a god was used for the Cleveland Show but regardless still thought it was tolerable, I remember I was annoyed with Family Guy one when Meg went back to the status quo after trying to stand up for herself making it the worst one of the Hurricane event, and I recently rewatched the American Dad episode and I thought it was mediocre at best.
My ideas for crossovers: Steven Universe x Homeland Gravity Falls x Owl House x Amphibia Gravity Falls x Rick and Morty Harvey Beaks x Gravity Falls Gravity Falls is a goldmine for crossovers
I would love to see Gravity falls and Steven universe cross over. I could see a few team ups. Dipper & pearl, Steven & Mabel, Ford & peridot, and Stan & Amethyst.
12:20: I have to disagree that Family Guy pulled that message off better. Differently, maybe, but not better. Both are so ham-fisted (I believe the trope is 'anvilicious') that the episodes aren't enjoyable. I can kind of see where Cleveland Show veering in another direction at the last minute is annoying, but Family Guy kinda does that with the final gag. Also, I personally give Cleveland Show partial credit for trying to be nuanced, even if it failed horribly, but I can see why some wouldn't.
This idea of the "outside force" crossover (or rather a "cross through"), is not something wrong nor unique, it just is one of the many ways to do cross-events: you have cameos, you have guest appearances, you have full-on "vs" battles... and you have something like this, which is certainly easier and safer to do but is still legitimate. Another extremely interesting case beside the ones you mentioned is the "warrior king" event which crossed over the Street Fighter, Savage Dragon, Mortal Kombat, and Wing Commander cartoons! Of course there is a good way and a bad way of doing this, so I'm not defending Fox/MacFarlane especially if they misrepresented the event in promotion.

I'm from South Africa and have binged each of these shows. Several times. But I had no idea that these episodes were linked! I really just thought they were regular episodes. In fact it's only right now that I connect the fact that there was a hurricane in all three shows. BTW I thought you guys called hurricanes tornados, twisters, and "that there sucking up thang over yonder".

Seahorse Seashell Party is awful. Normally I don't mind Meg abuse but this time there was no irony or joke. Also I hate that the Griffin's are stuck in the house the whole episode. The most fun episodes are the ones where the characters do things like when they run a meth lab.

@@EggFighterXB- Marvel comics has been that way for decades. Also it makes more sense. If a man with spider powers exists and all those crazy villains do, surely other super heroes exist.
I can ask this: If Junior lost his faith because of Loretta's hypocrisy, then why did he adhere to her last wishes regarding the money she in effect stole from Cleveland through lowlife shenanigans? Didn't he see she was the reason they lost their home and had to move, and that this was an act of spite, pure and simple? If he no longer believed in an afterlife where he would see her again, and if this lack of belief was because of her, why be an obedient son when Donna on the worst day of her life has been 100 times better? One problem is, as a comedic premise, all 3 shows overflow with sociopaths. The problem there is you can only go further down that hole to find humor - like making a boy feel isolated or a girl feeling she has to be a chew-toy so her butt-wipe family can avoid shaking apart. It's like "It's Your First Kiss Charlie Brown" going too far on doubling down on the misery. They go so far so often, they lose sight of the idea you even can go too far.
Family Guy did NOT do the God thing better but it was REALLY stupid and terrible. It ended with Brian saying "Meg if God existed why would he make you ugly?"

Now, outside of Cleveland and/or Donna sometimes, they've become background noise for Family Guy again, who went bad 10-11 years back, and can't take the hint no matter how much they like to dump on better shows. Like seriously, what happened to Jr, Roberta, and Rallo?

THe "crossover" could've been so better. Imagine American Dad experiencing a cutaway gag and the American Dad characters look around wondering "What the hell was that?!"
Stan had seen monsters before: drug dealers, failed experiments, hell even aliens from another world, but he never expected to see... it. The thing in the shape of a rotund man stood in front of him, docile at first, spending a solid minute trying to pick a piece of popcorn out of his teeth, staring casually at him as it attempts to get a laugh out of the mundanity.
Breaking the silence, he could only choke out a "W-What are you doing?" The thing shot back "Oh right, you don't do dose jokes."
"Joke? I don't get it: What about picking popcorn out of your teeth is a joke?"
"Hey, don't act high and mighty with an alien themed Brian knockoff."
Stan was shocked. Was this just the inane ramblings of a madman, or does he really know about Roger?
"I'm not trying to insult you; it's just not a joke, fat ass."
The creature recoiled. With a glint of spite in its eyes it started to speak. Something about it sets Stan's nerves on edge. "This is worse than the time that I was Adolf Hitler's coat sorter."
With those words, Stan felt reality warp, stretch, distort into something unrecognisable as the place he was just a moment before. His consciousness was there, but not manifest, left to just watch the thing's play. It wore tailor outfit, standing in front of the tyrant. Stan instinctively reached for his fire arm, before remembering that he didn't have any body to do any action with. He was stuck.
"Coat sorter! Where is mien coat?"
"Mine coat? Got it right here."
It presented a coat fitted with explosives in every pocket, hanging out flagrantly. Did it plan to kill Hitler in front of Stan? Or would it make him watch it get mutilated, barely alive, but suffering. Anything seems possible with this being, so how will it choose to torture him?
Hitler hid behind a chair, cowering in the same way Stan wish he could. But the creature just stared at him.
"Yeah I deactivated the bombs before sowing them in."
"..."
Somehow, the being managed to look straight at Stan. "Because bomb safety is important."
And like nothing happened, Stan was back in his own body [...]

I really hate how the writers on Family Guy are using this excuse they don't know how to write a teenage girl when in the earlier Seasons Meg was basically a teenage girl who loved her family but got embarrassed by them occasionally.

I had zero clue this was a crossover. I only saw the American Dad episode and though the ending was novel, it's not like Stan hasn't met other Seth McFarlane characters before. I mean, he read aloud a list of his favourite fictional dogs before Brian showed up and asked 'do I know you?'
This crossover would've been genuinely incredible if the other episodes were better, or connected to each other more. Imagine Cleveland calling Peter at the start and warning him about the hurricane, then the Family Guy episode has with a reference to Stan as foreshadowing, ending with all three meeting up

I love how each Smith family member had a part in the plot. Steve was talking like an architect non-stop, Hailey was trying to sympathise with Stan (leading to her injury), Geoff just had some pure moments of stupidity, Klaus had a small arc of being the brunt of the family's abuse before he excitedly brags about the house flooding, Roger was being constantly annoyed by his fling, Stan was escalating all of it while Francine tried to level his crazy out.
All of that, all of that happened in 20 minutes

That because it isn't. It's a "cross through" which is where certain events affect multiple shows but none of the characters interact with each other. Hurricane is one of them, and there are two more "cross throughs." Cartoon Network had Invaded where aliens visited multiple shows, but none of the cartoon characters never interact with other cartoon characters from different shows. Only the aliens who never had a show crossover to different shows. Fox kid was a block on Saturday mornings where they had cartoons airing during the 90 and early 2000s. Fox had an event of having some random guy visiting multiple shows to grab important items and having an arc for himself. He never had a show for himself and none of the affected show interact with each other. Hell Fox had Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter animated series which a lot of 90s kids would kill for a crossover, but they never interact with each other. They only connect with one guy that passed through their shows

There’s an episode of South Park that also does the Cleveland show section of the crossover’s concept better, too. It’s the episode where Stan meets a Mormon kid and he’s just this super wholesome and nice person. His family, too. However, Stan keeps struggling to get along with them because he’s so skeptical about the Mormon religion and how it sounds like Joseph Smith made it all up. Then, in the last scene of the episode, the kid finally tells off Stan on how Mormonism not making sense doesn’t matter since the message of the religion is to be good to others and love their family. It works because Stan is actively the one trying to shut down their beliefs, rather than it being the Mormon family trying to push it onto him.
American Dad gets the right message across far better and more often than any of Seth's other shows. I think it's because the characters remain consistent whereas Family Guy has everyone do anything because the writers couldn't let go of an idea.
It helps that in the second to last scene, Stan has an outburst against Gary and his family and one of the lines Stan criticizes them for being too happy and using it to weasel people into the Mormon religion. It's those lines that show that Stan was moreso just lashing out at them for not being his perception of normal, and less about their religion. It's why Gary's speech to Stan at the end hits so hard.

Another good thing is that American Dad introduces it's character drama plotpoint of Stan being bad at crisis along the hurricane frame device, so it keep building upon it, not just coming out of nowhere like with Cleveland Jr's atheism or Meg's getting fed up with the family.
Also, is says much about American Dad when they have largest core family out of the three shoes and they still had a better episode with all grouped up in one place along a guest character. And the house actually flooding and flipping up is a clever way to have a bottle episode inside a familiar setting.

The Cleveland Show's hurricane episode is essentially the spiritual antithesis to Family Guy's "Not All Dogs Go To Heaven".
American Dad! was absolutely fantastic, the best of the bunch and one of the best of the series. The writers heard someone say “hurricane” and ACTUALLY listened!

It's crazy that these episodes aired roughly a year before Hurricane Sandy.
All three episodes aired on Octover 2, 2011. All shows take place in east coast states.
Hurricane Sandy Formed October 22, 2012 and hit the east coast states hard.
I find it more of a coincidence, since I feel like I didn't watch these episodes until a week before Sandy hit us.

I love the American Dad episode. Also, the hurricane event kind of reminds me of that Nickelodeon event where each show did a special dancing episode. Zoey 101, Drake and Josh, and I think another one.
I love how even if by accident the show has implied Meg griffin is a serial killer and more so in her more recent characterization. One of my favorite bits (I even uploaded the clip onto my channel) is the "Meg can't be left alone... Like seriously"

The whole Cleveland show episode really made me appreciate that my family doesn't care about my lack of religion. Everyone on my dads side is religious in one way or another and I was scared to let them know i wasn't but when the truth came out they all kinda just said "hey youre still the same kid either way. It doesn't matter" which i love because it helped shape my view on life which is live the best life you can and do right by those who do right by you.

Brian on shrooms is honestly one of my all-time favorite bits from Family Guy, and this episode of American Dad is in my top 3, but I had NO IDEA this was supposed to be a crossover. I genuinely just thought the end of the AD episode was a bit where all 3 main characters show up. They dropped the ball SO hard in trying to actually relate these stories 😂

That's not true. Seth was involved with Family Guy up until 2010 when he stopped writing for the show so he could work on Ted. One of the main reasons the show changed was him not being as involved as he used to.
Man, the simpsons episode that preceded this really was like... a top five of that era

Idk I don't find it weird or out of place for the Cleveland Show to use a religious story line during a natural disaster episode. But, I'm also black and not religious, but my family is Christian. I've been locked in with my family during tornadoes, they've reacted the same way to me not praying with them, so none of that felt unfamiliar because people do turn to God in times of crisis. I do realize this is me speaking from personal experience only but it sounded fun to share.
I appreciate the story, it adds new perspective to how you view the video!

@@TheDanTheManShow It's not exactly the same, but as a latina coming from a christian household while I'm not christian is pretty much the same experience. I really agree that it's not suuuuper outta place given this is a very dangerous event that can be life threatening. I'll also say that "I'm a black woman in the south" is pretty much the equivalent of my own dad's reasoning. Big, he's a mexican man and grew up with it- we just so happen to be in the south where religion is *hella* big.
I don't think the FG episode was all that bad..until the end at least when Meg willingly went back to being the family punching bag. 😒🙄

I'm actually under the belief that that Cleveland episode is more anti-religion/Christianity. Everyone except Cleveland Jr are Christians and fervently try to convince him to believe without having any substantial reason of their own to believe, and when they become angry with him, curse him in God's name. Then when Cleveland is in trouble, nobody does anything other than pray except for the non-believer. Then the message seems to slightly be "religion/prayer is a coping mechanism". I mean, do all the things the Christians do here not sound like the constant stereotypes atheists hold about us Christians?

The Cleveland show is a lot better than i gets made out to be. It’s closer to a show like king of the hill or bobs burgers in that Tim being a talking bear is probably the most surreal thing. For the most part they rely on more realistic and relatable scenarios than Seth’s other shows.
Like everyone claims it tried too hard to be black family guy but then hated it because it wasn’t just black family guy.

So many flashbacks on being let down on this crossover, way after I even learned this was a crossover. I used to think Seth not believing in a god was used for the Cleveland Show but regardless still thought it was tolerable, I remember I was annoyed with Family Guy one when Meg went back to the status quo after trying to stand up for herself making it the worst one of the Hurricane event, and I recently rewatched the American Dad episode and I thought it was mediocre at best.

Gravity Falls x Owl House x Amphibia

Gravity Falls is a goldmine for crossovers
I would love to see Gravity falls and Steven universe cross over. I could see a few team ups. Dipper & pearl, Steven & Mabel, Ford & peridot, and Stan & Amethyst.
12:20: I have to disagree that Family Guy pulled that message off better. Differently, maybe, but not better. Both are so ham-fisted (I believe the trope is 'anvilicious') that the episodes aren't enjoyable. I can kind of see where Cleveland Show veering in another direction at the last minute is annoying, but Family Guy kinda does that with the final gag. Also, I personally give Cleveland Show partial credit for trying to be nuanced, even if it failed horribly, but I can see why some wouldn't.
This idea of the "outside force" crossover (or rather a "cross through"), is not something wrong nor unique, it just is one of the many ways to do cross-events: you have cameos, you have guest appearances, you have full-on "vs" battles... and you have something like this, which is certainly easier and safer to do but is still legitimate.
Another extremely interesting case beside the ones you mentioned is the "warrior king" event which crossed over the Street Fighter, Savage Dragon, Mortal Kombat, and Wing Commander cartoons!
Of course there is a good way and a bad way of doing this, so I'm not defending Fox/MacFarlane especially if they misrepresented the event in promotion.

I'm from South Africa and have binged each of these shows. Several times. But I had no idea that these episodes were linked! I really just thought they were regular episodes. In fact it's only right now that I connect the fact that there was a hurricane in all three shows.

I would 100% rewatch the American Dad episode. The other episodes not so much. Of course I largely prefer American Dad to the other two shows so
Seahorse Seashell Party is awful. Normally I don't mind Meg abuse but this time there was no irony or joke. Also I hate that the Griffin's are stuck in the house the whole episode. The most fun episodes are the ones where the characters do things like when they run a meth lab.
ive seen all of these episodes when i was younger and i didnt even know it was a crossover...what lol
i never even knew these were "crossover" episodes. I thought american dad's episode was the only crossover and even then it was just a cameo gag, not your typical crossover
I didn't even know that it was a crossover either because that's all I saw.
Nickelodeon also did a weather based "crossover" with their heatwave event, where Spongebob, iCarly, Victorious, and Big Time Rush had a big heatwave.
I really like the idea of the event, it just needed the other two parts to be as good as the American Dad segment, I would also love to see an American Dad and Family GUy crossover!

You used MCU clips on the beginning. To be fair marvel had a long history of characters existing in the same universe in the comics.
But doesn't Spider-Man existing in the same universe as the Avengers and every other New York superhero mess up his entire premise?
Like why is that when any of the goblins or doc ock or whoever attacks the city no one besides Spiderman show up?

@@EggFighterXB- Marvel comics has been that way for decades. Also it makes more sense. If a man with spider powers exists and all those crazy villains do, surely other super heroes exist.

I can ask this: If Junior lost his faith because of Loretta's hypocrisy, then why did he adhere to her last wishes regarding the money she in effect stole from Cleveland through lowlife shenanigans? Didn't he see she was the reason they lost their home and had to move, and that this was an act of spite, pure and simple? If he no longer believed in an afterlife where he would see her again, and if this lack of belief was because of her, why be an obedient son when Donna on the worst day of her life has been 100 times better?
One problem is, as a comedic premise, all 3 shows overflow with sociopaths. The problem there is you can only go further down that hole to find humor - like making a boy feel isolated or a girl feeling she has to be a chew-toy so her butt-wipe family can avoid shaking apart. It's like "It's Your First Kiss Charlie Brown" going too far on doubling down on the misery. They go so far so often, they lose sight of the idea you even can go too far.
Family Guy did NOT do the God thing better but it was REALLY stupid and terrible. It ended with Brian saying "Meg if God existed why would he make you ugly?"
