I watched several instructional vids on this and yours is by far the best! I was making tubes for a blanket and did not realize my counter was wonky until I made 3 tubes. Instead of frogging two of them to rework to the correct length I wanted to add the extra rows. This is perfect! Thank you so much. I love how you point out the obvious questions some of us will have as we work and address them. Example, when the row looked odd at the join. You are the best teacher yet! Thank you again!!

Perfect. I read a pattern wrong,😢 removed the project from the addi too early and thought oh no I will never be able to get it back on the addi. It’s the 46 machine. Here goes. Thankyou so much ❤

I knew you would have this video!!!! My hat had a blowout. So, I was trying to salvage what I could and put waste yarn in to stop the unraveling. I had no idea how I was going to get back on the machine. Did a search and boom there you were my hat saver. It's back on my sentro now. It's time to take a deep breath and carry on. I have a small motor on my Sentro because I have a bad right shoulder. I accidentally hit the button too hard, and the machine went in reverse. I thought I had it fixed. I was wrong. Now, I have a solution. Thank you, Shelley, for what you do!!!!

This is so helpful. I have a panel and I took it off but it was too short. I made another panel and attached them with a single crotchet. But I don’t like the seam it gives. Now I’m going to put the original panel I made back onto the machine and make it longer!!! Thank you

is there any way i could start a knitting project on my knitting needles then transfer to the sentro and continue it there?

Honestly Della…. I don’t know the answer to that.
Post it in my new group and see if you get an answer to that. 🥰

what about the flat panel ?

  • @SueGallon

How can you do this and make sure it’s straight if there’s no color change?

    • @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet
      @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Sue
You would remove the project and put a different colour waste yarn on your needle and thread through one row of stitches all the way around. You would do this in the row you want to reattach.
Then use that as your guide to find the stitches to put back on your machine.
I hope that explains it well.

I am going to try to re attach my project, but my question is this: why would every stitch start to tuck?? is about my tension? Literally every stitch was tucking, so I took it off and will try to follow your instructions, but can you suggest what I might be doing wrong such that all stitches start to come off and tuck??!! Thanks!!

I really don’t know why they all would.
Tension, knitting speed and yarn choice play the biggest factors. In my opinion.
All 3 have to be correct.

Trying to knit a flat panel, keeps dropping stitches, took it off to fix it and cannot get it back on. Cannot find a tutorial on reattaching a flat panel. Your tutorial did not work and Ive watched it 4 times.

Attaching a flat panel would be different because of the turning stitches. I have never had to attach a flat panel to be honest.
But the tutorial does work …. I’ve done it more than once. 🥰
