Halo 3 still has the best nature graphics of the series. People float on water and it splashes, and you leave footprints in the snow and sand. No other Halo game did that.
***** Looking back my comment was kind of dumb. Reach looks better. H2A looks better. 4 and 5 would if they weren't so stylized. But for its time I think 3 looked the best.
Even though I'm a halo PC gamer, I think the halo 3 graphics were the best, yeah Reach got more polygons, and great-ish multiplayer (damn you region locked gold membership), and halo 4 had fancy lightning model. But halo 3 had more of that material feel to objects. Harmony of some kind. Just wish it had native resolution, that blurry pixels on LCD monitors are disgusting.
I honestly believe Halo 3 has aged the best of the entire series. I mean, they all look great, and looked amazing for their eras, but Halo 3 has aged extremely well.
Always online has totally ruined games development quality control. And because people still give them their money devs will continue to lower the bar "good enough" wins out against "best it could be"
Wish thy would release the newer halo engines so you can make your own levels like you could in halo CE and Halo 2. Its a shame that only Mosft get to use such good game engine. :(
The only thing I don't why they never putted in halo games is the cracked visor. You get hurt and you recieve a bullet of plasma in you visor make it cracking. More realistic stuff lik this could have made the game more awesome. Sur they have done it on Halo Reach final mission and it was awesome.
Have you forgotten most of them quit Bungie, plus the 343 Devs barely gave instructions on Slipspace Engine and just left, and Slipspace Is apparently a nightmare to code which pretty explains why the game is so slow to receive content and finally, I doubt Halo Dev veterans would be able to comprehend the coding Slipspace Engine.
I love how passionate and excited they are about this stuff we take for granted
Aye, how times have changed

DavidtheWavid although a 1 ton spartan floating in ware is unrealistic.
tbh spartans shouldnt float at all i think, they should be heavy af, unless its like a machanic of the suit
"Water looks like water.
Rocks look like rocks. Explosions look like explosions."
[343 not taking notes]
This is what makes halo halo
"Made" past tense, the quality is no longer there
3:28 wish this version of Opening Volley had gotten used for more than just once-off background audio because of how nice it sounds.
Wish the first three Halo games would show up on Steam.. Especially if they had Workshop support.. I'd buy all that up .
The first two are on PC. After that, Microsoft isn't letting its biggest Xbox game go to PC.
@@weedwak lol
I hope you heard the news but don't think it's gonna have Workshop support. At least we get all fps halo games except for 5
@@shorm. Lol, that happened. How times change. Not a bad thing at all though!
Your wish has come true!
Bungie did a great job
Halo 3's water is still the best in the series!
Skoopa92 your wrong .......halo 5 water......wait....halo 5 doesn't have water.....wtf 343.....water isn't just a texture.
This is what we need. Make a game that doesn’t need to be worked on every month.

This makes me want to play Halo. Love these games!
Listen to how they speak about their game, they care so much. Sounds like they won’t settle for “meh”.
What a difference a decade makes
out of all the Halo games Halo 3 has the best water !
these guys were so right on
Without a doubt the most talented Halo team was H3s I still play this even in 2016. J2 Oxide Zz x add me
xdarkxxmoonx is mine!
@@Shoshii you guys still play?
Still playing 2022 lol

The beginning song... So much memory's
I love all the Bungie Halo games. The real Halo games.
6:02 is that LEGIQN?
classic video
i like water
I played Halo 3 for like 2 years and hardly ever noticed the water.
The only thing I don't why they never putted in halo games is the cracked visor. You get hurt and you recieve a bullet of plasma in you visor make it cracking. More realistic stuff lik this could have made the game more awesome. Sur they have done it on Halo Reach final mission and it was awesome.
fuck halo 5
Nice
Back wen the developers cared
0:40 Rainn Wilson!
But, don't spartans in armor weigh exactly half a ton?
Yeah, but Bungie put things that looks cool than realistic
I swear A* path finding inspired those micro flood things that follow you.
See that cared about water so much and now 343 dnt give a fuck about water affects at all lol
Dnt know wat happened to all this passion smh
Notice there isn’t a single woman in this video… then look at 343.
BROOO JUST BRING THOSE ENGENIERS TO FIX THE SHIT HOLE THAT 343 MADE WITH THE SLIPSPACE ENGINE !!!!!!!! SO HALO INFINITE CAN FKN STRIVE

It's crazy how much of a downgrade Destiny was overall.
