I want a workshop exactly like yours, equipment and all!! Love what I'm learning watching videos from you, Kellison, and MIRocks. I want to be a geologist when I grow up.
that polish is incredible ! living though you-is a dream come true 4 me. I live in a condo, I,m 62 now, and I never lost the dream of hunting 4 rocks and minerals! maybe if I have a next life-i can be like you!😃😃😃😃😃!
Taylor, I wish I had your shop! I love watching you cut n polish If I had onelike that no one would see me again😅. I LOVE ROCKS!! NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT SLICING THEM OPEN, even though I was aware of it. Looking Back Millions of years makes the universe bigger❤❤
Thanks for the video, I downloaded it first thing this morning and then the 4yo and I had it on hand to watch while we waited for the rest of the cows to move to the other pasture. It saved my bacon.
Love the channel! I see you wear a respirator for protecting your airway/lungs. Protect your eyes, as well. I was a nurse until my vision was damaged. Show them some love, too.😊
I don't know why your channel came across my recommendations because this is not my typical viewing genre. However, I have spent many nights going on binges of this channel. I find the agates so beautiful and am excited to see what's inside after the cut. I wish you continued growth and success. Congrats on the move and may you And your family continue to be blessed.
I Love watching your videos! I usually watch them as soon as I get home from my exhausting night shift job, and fall asleep, before I comment, so this time I wanted to tell you before I fall asleep!
So exciting watching you break in your new cab king! I learn something every time I watch your videos. Thank you so much for sharing, Taylor! I’m leaning 6 inch cab king now…
I know it ruins the 'naturalness' of the stone, but have you considered backfilling the mossy areas that feel soft with an epoxy resin before polishing? I think some of the patterns are so cool, and it would be nice (and potentially profitable) if you could find a way to preserve that and polish too. Maybe you could give it a try? My wife watches channels where a guy encases different wood objects with odd shapes in epoxy, turns it on a lathe, and then carves it out, and the results are often stunning. You might get the same results!
So much fun! But, no that 3rd nodule was not a dud. I found it very interesting, and slices of it would be beautiful dangling from a necklace chain. Sorry Im a jewelry makin girl, so bands, crystals, druzy, color- i love it all and love to showcase it for rockhounds who dont get jewelry, and everyone else who doesnt get rocks.
By the way, you were so inspired we bought ourselves our own rock saw and we have been cutting rock open for a little bit and there was this one that looked really weird on the outside and it was crazy. Good in the inside. I wish I could show a picture to you😊😅😂❤🎉
Why do you prefer the rez wheels? Are they better at getting scratches out? I have the 6" cabking with the standard wheels and for cabs they're great, but I'm having a heck of a time getting scratches out when I'm face polishing agates or thunder eggs. Would rez be more efficient?
LOL - love your vids and what you do ... but have to say I laughed a lot and replayed the water squirting on you far too many times to actually be a nice human being. LOL
I stop at 1200 on the diamond wheels, but then I hit them with "high grade" cerium oxide on a leather polishing pad which puts a phenomenal final polish on them (especially agates and jaspers)!
My personal opinion. Get a flat polishing table as well as your cab king. Some of your larger pieces you've polished before would have looked so much better with a flat polished face instead of rounded if you ask me. I know it's a matter of preference. But it'd also open up being able to make slabs and even homemade coasters out of larger pieces you find such as that massive hasper from not too long ago.
I don't know if this is a real thing but what about I wouldn't handle that's cupped at one end and then you put in a plug of clay or police something you know that's nice and soft that holds the stone Oh sorry agate and then you use it on the polisher You don't have to hold the outside crust personally as it's held by the Sun wouldn't handle contraption
The agate at the 3:42 mark has a face looking downward with a nose. You can see the two dark eyes then the nose beneath it. Cool. I hope you did not throw that one away...oh bummer, you polished the face out. :(
Don't tease us, just open the things, sometimes too much tease is annoying A little goes a long way. and you have so many more to show us:) Cheers, Rik Spector

Thanks for the video, I downloaded it first thing this morning and then the 4yo and I had it on hand to watch while we waited for the rest of the cows to move to the other pasture. It saved my bacon.

You should do a giveaway with the quartz you collect. I’m sure this community would treasure an agate from you! Keep on smiling 😂
LOVE the naturalness!!

The 6 inch did its job under your expert guidance. Beautiful.
Your vids always give my a rock fix as well as a laugh ☔
❤🎉I love agates. They look so good polished especially the ones with the orange rectangles in the center
The last “square” agate was my favorite
Those are beautiful!!!! Love this! I would've loved to do this when I was younger.
You always save the best for last! That's my favorite!
So exciting watching you break in your new cab king! I learn something every time I watch your videos. Thank you so much for sharing, Taylor! I’m leaning 6 inch cab king now…

Again they never disappoint... Stunningly Beautiful ❤
♥
Looking forward to it!!!!!!🎉
Hope you like it!
You can do anything those rocks are so gorgeous 🥰
To answer your question, yes I'm sure you can turn them into beautiful gemstones!
Beautiful

Love the new space! It suits you! Keep making them videos!
They are beautiful thank you.
Beautful
Ooo love the extra close up pics
Last was the best
Gorgeous! Thank you for sharing.
They look fantastic
They would be fabulous ear rings 😊
Love your show and I love nature. Bless you
I was going to ask if the wheels were too close on the 6" Cabking. You answered the question before it could be asked!
OMG that space it's BIG!!!!!
Thank you. I am surprised at the “breaking in” aspect. I know zippo about this…so I’m guessing the wheel might have some grit that sticks up?
Amazing video!! Thanks for sharing!!
Through the door ,door door!!

Lava flow on the tundra
So excited! 😻 Edit to give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✌️😘
So cool rocks 😊👍
THAT 10 TIMES FAST! Close enough for ya?!?!?! LM*O!!! HUGS!!! 😆
By the way, you were so inspired we bought ourselves our own rock saw and we have been cutting rock open for a little bit and there was this one that looked really weird on the outside and it was crazy. Good in the inside. I wish I could show a picture to you😊😅😂❤🎉
Hello agate Dad and family 👋😎🥰💖...
Beautiful! 😊

You definitely answered your own questions :)
Save the best for last!♥️
The orange one that maintained the square shape is particularly unusual. Even though you know they're agates, would you ever tumble some?
LOL - love your vids and what you do ... but have to say I laughed a lot and replayed the water squirting on you far too many times to actually be a nice human being. LOL
I stop at 1200 on the diamond wheels, but then I hit them with "high grade" cerium oxide on a leather polishing pad which puts a phenomenal final polish on them (especially agates and jaspers)!
Some of those agates are beautiful! Do you use the material you are cutting, slab, make cabs and jewellery at all?
Penguins on the tundra❤
My personal opinion. Get a flat polishing table as well as your cab king. Thank you so much for sharing the beauty. What do you do with your "duds"?
Sweet Malawi bebe, agates!!!
I always get so nervous when you cut the really small nodules, Taylor.
Taylor you rock!! Lol
Liked the one at 3:14.
At 3:44...I see a white cat in gray quartz? On left side..you have to look at it just the right way
Funny candles ...
The agate at the 3:42 mark has a face looking downward with a nose. You can see the two dark eyes then the nose beneath it. Cool. I hope you did not throw that one away...oh bummer, you polished the face out. :(
Do you sell any of these agates or do you keep all of them?
I sell on Etsy, nowhere else.
The second one made me realize I need to go to church and confess 😂
Great choice 🥰
I think it got ground out a bit...it being ...cat .. in my earlier post
.but upside down In left hand ...idk..I just see things sometimes..lol
That new CabKing needs some ' dirt' on it.
It’ll get what’s coming to it lol
If you turn it on its side it looks like a duck.. that one's my favorite
I was thinking it looked like a cross
I 'll bet if you polished the quartz agates, they would sell. They are beautiful! Just not agatey. Give it a try.
What is even going on with that last one? Sheesh!
If you have never been certified, never admit to being crazy! LOL
Let people figure that out for themselves!
Do you bundle up your rejects to give to kids? Kindys and schools would love them for budding agate enthusiasts...
Did you break up with your 8"?
Don't tease us, just open the things, sometimes too much tease is annoying
A little goes a long way.
and you have so many more to show us:)
Cheers,
Rik Spector
I don’t understand how someone can take me just being normal, without hidden motives, like that. Can I not just cut and show rocks my way?
@@AgateDad I’m sorry
I had a senior moment
You are a good guy 😒
You are a lot of fun and
Now I feel so guilty
Hiya Taylor 😁 another session with amazing and gorgeous agates 🪨 can't hardly wait till the next video/time it's been awesome..
