I'd love to see the darkest ones sliced thinly and held against the sunlight to see their real hue. They are so unique and elegant somehow. Re: DADA I'm not totally against dyeing agates, but fully against selling them as naturals! They should be marked and advertised with a big sign that says "DYED". Many sellers do, but many sadly don't.
The one with the quartz running through the middle look like sandwich cookies. They could be polished into discs and advertised as petrified Oreos ☺ . I use captions and the generator doesn't know what to do with the word "agate." My favorites so far are eggs, erget, OTS, egret, eggot, and igot.
I wonder if a thin cut on some of the dark ones might show the banding better. Fun video. Never stop being excited and happy, it is part of why I love watching you.
I don’t know much about agates other than the cool stuff you share here and had no idea folks dyed them but I definitely would want what nature made. I personally liked those first few you cut that were black they would make great cabs for the walking sticks I make! Currently I recycle granite and marble countertops for them. Great video and definitely don’t tone down your laughter through life! ❤
We have blue quartz just east of the Blue Ridge Mtns here in VA. I haven’t cut any yet. I have one in the tumbler. But we have no agates.☹️. I agree, the best was last. Lots of pretty detail!
I'm against dying any stone, especially agates. I absolutely loved the long, narrow one with the band of quartz down the center at 3:11. I also loved the one at 5:40..I thought it looked like butterfly wings. Thanks for sharing with us; I look forward to your posts and always enjoy every minute.
I am so with you where dyed agates are concerned!! Just say NO! Some beauties today. That last one was fabulous! I was wondering if you were familiar with Ellensburg Blue. It's a type of blue agate that occurs only in one place:Ellensburg WA in the Pacific Northwest. You generally find it either as specimens or in jewelry.
I really don't know one rock from the other, nor did I know you can DYE a rock. I have, however, been enjoying your tutorial and enthusiasm of what you share. Thank you!
I hope you ignore the negative souls who have something to say about your laugh! Miserable people can't stand to hear genuine joy and laughter. They are incapable of happiness. And misery really DOES love company! You're a "gem", Agate Dad!😁
You never disappoint. There were some absolutely gorgeous blue agates in the batch, they will polish very well. I am also curious what we would see if you were able cut thin slices of the very dark agates, would light from behind show hidden details?
This was an amazing video Taylor such beautiful rocks and all natural too!!! I’m not a rock person I just love your reveals, they amaze me!!! Who knew rocks could be so beautiful, certainly not me!!!
Oh so beautiful! ❤ As you say awesome. I’d like to see what a cab would look like from those dark ones. Some of the smaller beauties would make beautiful pendants. ❤❤
Wow...those are beauties. First time I've seen these cut. Thanks for the content. I don't get that far south to hunt for those but maybe this fall/winter. I'd love to put a hunt for blue agate video together. Fred
i actually really like the darker ones without much detail! i know agates are wanted for their designs, but the darker ones are just so beautiful and give off a simple elegance that i enjoy
Confession time - when I was walking by my pretty / interesting rock bowl, I stopped cold. I think one rock is a blue dyed agate with a quartz layer in the middle - the shame! 😮
Wow! Some of those are amazing! That last one is my FAVORITE ❤ Funny…when you buy Manganese at the pharmacy…it’s NOT BLUE…maybe we should send them a #DADA STICKER!!😂😂 Looking forward to seeing them at Etsy soon. 💙
Wow! Nature is so beautiful! God is so cool! 🤩 Thank you for your content! It never gets old (the saw will always make me nervous when it gets near your fingers 😅)! Btw- "stud-muffin" made me lol. I'm gonna start using that😂
Tide Water agates is just above my area and the finds are stunning. I'm so glad you cut some local agates. I have tons and try to guess what's inside. Now I have some idea. Thank you Agate Dad and Tidewater
Another fun video! I love your channel. Keep the great videos coming and never, ever change your personality. Your excitement is infectious. I too felt you were trying to dial back your true excitement. Be yourself. You are awesome!

OLADA here Old Ladies... maybe make some slices of the dark ones, only if possible of course, maybe more detail will show up.
The last blue agate looks like some of the deep space pictures from the latest telescope in space
I am with you against dyed agates!!!!!!

Go DADA! I so agree! Nature chooses the best colors. These were gorgeous!
Finally!
Someone doing the blues!
👍🇺🇸
BLUE agates???!!!! Holy cow! Keep laughing, always makes me smile after a long day.
The one at 5:14 looks like a butterfly!
That’s it! I am getting a saw
Do it!
I'd love to see the darkest ones sliced thinly and held against the sunlight to see their real hue.

I would love to c those what u cut and didnt show👍💕👋🇫🇮
very pretty
Oh wow....I love those ones....❤❤❤❤
Those are sooo pretty
The very dark ones would probably work really well for jewelry, especially if you used a bright metal to contrast
I wonder if a thin cut on some of the dark ones might show the banding better. Fun video. Never stop being excited and happy, it is part of why I love watching you.
I was thinking the same
I love this, it's like Christmas every time ! Thank You! God Bless.
God bless you too!

The Heifer is really neat! 🐄
Don’t let ANYONE TAKE YOUR JOY AWAY FROM YOU. LAUGH IF YOU WANT ,IT JUST SHOWS YOUR JOY .AND I MUST SAY - THE WORLD NEEDS MORE OF THAT!!!
The 3rd agate was wow, just wow. I thought it looked like a fireworks show. Awesome! Happy belated 4th.
Thank you! You too!
Made me laugh😅, Dada! Thanks agate dad, love real agates!!!
beautiful last agate!
A great idea could be to slab the darker ones and put a light behind them to show their detail.
IMO, the dark ones can be the most beautiful!
Thank you for another awesome video. Some of them were so beautiful

Some gorgeous agates in there. I'm all for D.A.D.A. I hate dyed agates and geodes.

The arrow head looking one is beautiful.
1:51 looks like a galaxy so beautiful
Gorgeous blue agates! Thanks for sharing! 😊
Oh, it was very interesting, I've never seen black agates before, so I liked all of them but my favorite was the last one.
You never disappoint. There were some absolutely gorgeous blue agates in the batch, they will polish very well. I am also curious what we would see if you were able cut thin slices of the very dark agates, would light from behind show hidden details?

The pure black ones would make great cabs for necklaces and bracelets and maybe earrings. Classic.
Nice!!!
😮 Very exciting cutting session! 😂 Unique agates, can't wait to see them polished😊❤
(Sorry, my emoji was laughing!)🤣😂🤣😆
Very pretty!! I loved the one with the quartz inside that looked like a butterfly when the two sides were held together!🦋
Love the last agate , reminds me of a Dalmatian dog !!
i actually really like the darker ones without much detail! i know agates are wanted for their designs, but the darker ones are just so beautiful and give off a simple elegance that i enjoy
Bro, you need to bring those back!
Heh?
I’m always apprehensive about dyes when purchasing agates. Can you give a small tutorial of what to look for?
Those were some beautiful PNW agates❤
I like your background music....easy jazz. ❤
I’m glad!
Some of the dark ones would be beautiful sliced thinner, so that light can shine thru them.
3:11 Forbidden Oreos😵💫
Tidewater is an absolute legend!! Always love watching their videos, reels and TikTok’s!
Confession time - when I was walking by my pretty / interesting rock bowl, I stopped cold. I think one rock is a blue dyed agate with a quartz layer in the middle - the shame! 😮
Oh no! Lol
Beautiful ❤
You have an unique collection
Blue light on these might help show off the hidden bands in the dark ones.
Wow! Some of those are amazing! That last one is my FAVORITE ❤
Funny…when you buy Manganese at the pharmacy…it’s

Yay, some agates within driving distance for us!! 😁
Love your videos, and keep laughing! I get the same enthusiasm when I cut stuff open!
These are my absolute favorite to find, only a few minutes away from where I live to find them, great cuts! Beautiful ❤
What area are they found? We’re in SW Washington.
I don’t need an exact location, just a general area.
Are they in the rivers, or on the beaches?
Very interesting cutting session, love the cow!
I wonder if you slice the dark ones they would show details.
Probably
I think my fav was the one that looked like an oreo
LOVE them! Thanks for sharing them with us!
So beautiful. Excuse my ignorance - where is PNW?
Pacific Northwest
Yay!!! You GO Dada!!!!
