The purpose of it, is to avoid cross contamination because once it is opened you need to drink it right away. Having a bigger yakult make it prone to contamination by frequent opening amd closing the lid. The lactobacillus will be useless.

Noooo. Hot Water Could Kill The Lactobacillus And Troll The Nutrients. A Yakult Bottle Needs To Get Refrigerated.

If the Yakult bottom is left at the room temperature for more than one day, say over 28 c degree, will it damage the nutrients inside the bottle ?

It should be kept in the fridge or it will ferment and eventually rot. Milk is very sensitive to temperature.
