So I tried this game for the first time ever, found the area where my house is which I'm sure everyone does first time they play it, tried to fly down for a better view and ended up crashing upside down in the park by my house, never to recover 😅

I guess what they don't want is morons flying into buildings with full Hollywood effects, fiery explosions and animations and then posting it on YT or IG giving bad folks some ideas, that's not the point of this software.

Made me giggle the way you thought ' ill just taxi through that plane thats in the way'😂 Reminds me about a a flight i did the other week in the a319. I was cruising at 30000 feet when suddenly it began dropping altitude fast. Nothing i did could stop it. I took an outside look and lo and behold there was a fuel tanker refuelling me and slso dragging me down. Went back to cockpit view then back outside and it had disappeared 😂

Thank you! You need to move slightly and soft with your controller. But it's very hard to land like a butter with controller. I love to play this game with my yoke on my pc!
make sure to fly with a joystick or yoke and adjust your sensitivity on the controller option page. there is a video on youtube with suggested settings “thrustmater review” for xbox series x and flight simulator
Just 6:24 seconds in and coming from the ramp it looked really good however, belt loader needed to be lowered before backing up and catering truck needs someone to marshal them back not to mention driving under the wing is a huge no no lol great graphics so far

You have to go into the marketplace and download other traffic and like static airplanes and stuff like that and other planes will show up on the ground. Some will be at gates and some will taxi. As far as I’m the air you have to turn on multiplayer to my understand I believe to have actual air traffic flying around you. And you should see them throughout the airspace as well pretty easily!

Yes, but you have to pay for them. However, on console, these liveries only show up on your own plane and very very rarely on any other planes. Xbox players are just stuck with ugly default liveries such as the one at 16:30 .

My anxiety kicked in when ATC told you to contact freq 119.8 when ready, the option kept flashing and you never clicked on it... 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ Also, did you seriously just took of without clearance? You're supposed to contact ATC to hold short of rwy 25R where you were supposed to take off from, which I don't think is the rwy you used and you didn't hold short and never contacted ATC for takeoff clearance. I got very anxious

question, in those movies where they say "does anyone on this plane have flight experience?" do you think you'd be able to land the plane or if you're really good at this game could you do it?
That's a good question. I asked the same question myself too. I would say you can be the best in flight simulator, but when it comes to land a real Boing or Airbus. It will be impossible or very hard for sim players. But when the Pilots are dead and nobody can continue to fly then somebody at least with flight sim experience should try to land the plane. I think you will be able to land a small aircraft like Cessna, if you had sim experience before.

Can you fly the plane from the cockput just like on the computer and real life on xbox ? I am not talking about on thr app where it gives you a few stuff. Like can you use thr mcdu on xbox?
yes all default features are the same like on pc if you fly the plane on xbox. If the default airplane supports mcdu you can use it like in real. But keep in mind the MSFS makes more fun on pc and there are community driven projects like FlyByWire and their plane is more realistic than the default one. I hope I could help.

I started on the original incarnation of this series, on an Apple 2 computer. The graphics have improved a little since then I see.

Can someone help this old luddite! I want to buy this game without having to install several CD's worth of information. Ideally I want to be able to stream it over the Internet or play from 1 disc/cartridge. Can someone tell me how I can do this please? Thanks.

Can you fly the plane from the cockput just like on the computer and real life on xbox ? I am not talking about on thr app where it gives you a few stuff. Like can you use thr mcdu on xbox?
yes all default features are the same like on pc if you fly the plane on xbox. If the default airplane supports mcdu you can use it like in real. But keep in mind the MSFS makes more fun on pc and there are community driven projects like FlyByWire and their plane is more realistic than the default one. I hope I could help.

You can select gates by the airport you’re choosing
Yes, like he already mentioned. You can select gates when you select any airport or just zoom in to the airport in world maps.
